Such a beautiful little place. The food is wonderful, the homemade rolls are amazing. The atmosphere is so friendly and inviting. The waitress was so charming. A must stop!

My family met my mother half way between our house and our cabin and we were fortunate to stop at this gem of a restaurant.
The people dining seemed to ask know each other and we felt welcomed right away.
The menu is large, but not overwhelming. You definitely won't have any problems filling up, as the portions are giant and they do not skimp on quality ingredients.

Bernitas in Sand Lake Mi has a great breakfast.
These are pic (small and large) of what she serves and is called the blob. I get it every time I go there. Its delicious.

Absolutely the best breakfast hands down!! If I could give them 10 gold stars it still wouldn’t be enough! Our waitress was fabulous and super sweet!

First time stopping here with my work buddies and we will definitely be back. Hometown feel, excellent food, very generous portions, friendly folks, and a great price point. This is a great spot to grab some very good home cooked food.

We finally tried this place after going to the other place in Sand Lake for years. I feel jipped!! The food was great! I had the breakfast burrito, friends had biscuit and gravy, American break fast, and the Glob with eggs. We all agreed that it was a pleasant surprise in great taste and value. The sausage gravy is a bit on the spicy side(I tend to like it that way). Definitely will return.

Good food, waitress was amazing. Made us feel right at home. Huge portions as well. Definently a great choice for a hole in the wall restaurant. I will definently be back, if I ever make it back to the area.

Don't let the outside appearance of the building keep you away from this place! We should have checked it out years ago! Great food, huge servings (they need bigger plates), and super friendly service!!!! We'll definitely be back!!!
