A wonderful local bookstore that we are lucky to have in Downtown Alpena! Great ambiance in a historic building with a great selection books; I never leave empty-handed. The owners are so friendly and happy to place any special orders or suggest a new read. I also appreciate that you can order online via bookshop.org and support them too. Definitely a must-visit when you're in Alpena!

Love this local owned book store! Our son got a great selection of books for school reading and we got some new reads for us too! The owner even sold us a couple of counter stools he had that werent even for sale that we have been searching for! Highly recommend... maybe we will get the lamp (local artisan made) next time!

I love that we have a local bookstore. They have lots of materials for kids and are always willing to help find a good read when I'm not exactly sure what I want. They are small and quaint and can always order a book if it's not in store. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They give great suggestions when I cannot figure out what I want. There are also other items such as candles, magnets, lots of stuff having to do with Michigan, journals, puzzles, and board games.

Incredibly unique shop. Books, crystals, incense, one of a kind artwork and gifts galore! Bought almost all my Christmas presents here last year and my family and friends loved them all!
