First time the 50 Local. Good vibe, smaller bar
Service was excellent, Jet was our bartender. He made some excellent recommendations on the menu. Drinks were excellent. Food was also excellent. My husband got the Halibut and I got the short rib flatbread. We will definitely be back

loved dining with you on our Anniversary. What a chef!!!! Sublime, favorite dish of ALL-TIME!!! Gnocchi/Lobster, celeriac with carrot chips. The lemon mousse was perfection, after a very substantial meal.
My husband loved his dinner as well.

First time diner. Had a great family dinner. We all had 5 different dishes of pasta. They were perfect. Pregamed at bar before our table was ready-nice. They were able to seat us early-great. Read some of the reviews prior and was apprehensive. Disregard, great place.

This is an amazing restaurant. Every bite was delicious. Cozy outdoor seating, dim warm lighting. Great staff that was friendly and attentive while also giving us space to enjoy the evening. We will definitely be going back. I am excited to try other dishes!

Ash, who does most of the cooking in this kitchen, is the most talented and passionate chef in the area. Everything she makes is perfectly done. There’s never too little of something, or too much of it. Every ingredient is utilized and incorporated in her dishes exactly the way it should be.
Every time I dine here and eat her cooking I leave in a great mood, even if my entire day was a disaster before that. The combination of appearance, smell, taste, and texture, is a thing of beauty.

Every single bite was wonderful. All locally sourced ingredients. The salad was SO fresh and interesting. Lovely bread. Creative, interesting dishes that just nailed it. I wish we lived in Kennebunkport. I'd patronize this place regularly! Noisy and crowded but no wonder...

I went here for a group meeting. The bartender was sociable and made a good drink. Dinner started off with a Caesar salad with a breaded poached egg (did not know breaded eggs were a thing, SO GOOD) The entree selection was small, we had the choice of chicken or vegetarian risotto. I'm not a big chicken fan. But even so, it was so flavorful and delicious. The dessert was top notch, made by their pastry chef. She was also very sociable. Overall, loved it and would love to go back.

Great atmosphere and amazing food. A nice way to get away from the craziness of Kennebunkport and try some other local flavors. All noodles and pasta are handmade and give the dishes so much extra flavor. Portions are huge, so be prepared to take extras home.

If you come through the side entrance, there's a cute gift shop you have to check out. 50 Local also had a baby name 58 Main. Check my photos. Also, you can park right there on main street for two hours no worries. 🤗

The staff was pleasant and seemed like they were happy to be there. Apparently the owners must be treating the employees right. This restaurant needs to be on your go-to list. This place was poppin 😚. Blake was our server and he took care of us. I can tell you that servers are exceptional when they hear their name vs "excuse me, excuse me." They know exactly where to turn when they hear their name.

The food and ambiance was excellent. Reservations are required. Go at 5p and have the place to yourself. Get the salad with the poachds egg on top. Perfect for the light eater or hot summer night. The crab 🦀 cakes are served on a thick wooden paddle with spicy mayo and pickled onions. The cake itself is served as a meatball shape not as a cake/paddy. I had the mussel frites (that means fries served on top of the mussels) - ask for them on the side. 💁‍♀

If you're a bourbon drinker, and am old fashioned doesn't tempt you, and you feeling like you had a donkey 🐴 kind of day? Ask for a mule, they'll make you one. Right on.

The serve fresh hot bread out of the oven (at least at 5p they do) and filtered water for the table.

Fabulous creative food and excellent staff, beautiful ambiance and wonderful service. The beer was delicious too! Highly recommend.

One of the owners was there and extremely attentive to us. Amazing place, even better food. Feels upscale but has a local, loving feel to it.

This place never disappoints. Cozy vibe verging on speakeasy. Homemade bread is excellent and mocktails/cocktails are sublime. Local ingredients crafted with obvious care. A little on the pricier side but so worth it! The crab cake was the best I’d ever had- packed with real crabmeat, piping hot and the blend of spice with the remoulade was perfection. Loved it!

Can't say enough good things about 50 Local. The owner is on site, the entire staff is amazing. The quality is VERY consistent and top notch!

Great food, lively ambiance - had a fantastic evening. Halibut is delicious as is the fish & chips! Excellent option for couples, groups or families.

Excellent food and service. We did have to wait for a table even with a reservation, and the food/drinks were delayed because they were so busy. It's a very small place with high demand - but the wait was totally worth it, and our server was very communicative (the complimentary fresh bread to thank us for our patience didn't hurt either). They have a daily menu and delicious craft cocktails. I had the braised short rib over homemade pasta - a spiritual experience. Highly recommend saving room for dessert. Will definitely be back!

Came out to dinner with family and friends and had an awesome time! Service was friendly and attentive, food and beverages were exquisite, and the place had great vibes. Looking forward to dining here again.

We have a great meal at 50 Local. I had the lobster scampi that was excellent, a good amount of lobster with great flavor and a good portion. My wife had the sea food paella that she loved. Loaded with fish that was fresh and tasty. There was more than she could finish, so the remaining came home with us.
The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive.
We had a few cocktails that were very tasty. The bread and oil that was delivered to the table was fantastic.
Overall experience was great.

Food was really good. Nice relaxed vibe. Dillon was a great bartender and the service was terrific.

Amazing dining experience. The enthusiasm of the chef infuses everything this establishment provides. Service is lively, personable & prompt. Cocktails are exceptional & the food is consistent to a fault. If you're looking for a great 'date night' experience, but don't want to part with Auberge money, head straight to 50 Local - and bring your appetite.
