Garden Street Bowl

This place was a pleasant surprise! I'm originally from thw west coast and used to bowl in a classic 10 pin league. Since moving to Maine, it's been very hard to find a place that isn't Candle Pin bowling. 😕 what a weird way to bowl... hahaha anyways, Garden Street Bowl has a rustic boujie vibe. I absolutely love it. ❤ The food was off the chain. We ordered burgers and they were so good. Normally, you're stuck with nasty frozen pizzas, cheese curds, and hot dogs at your average bowling alley. But this place had TOP NOTCH food like salmon and shrimp and other higher class meals. We will definitely be back. Possibly to join one of the leagues. They are not a competitive environment. It's more for the fun and camaraderie and meeting new people.

Thanks, Garden State Bowl, for doing something better than the average run-down bowling alleys. We had a blast on our date night on Thursday.

We went there as a team to spend a fun evening bowling and eating something casual. But we got much more than expected. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh and delicious, the quality was what you could expect in a very good restaurant, at reasonable prices. So really not your usual bowling hall. On top of it, it was a "Trivia" evening and everybody could participate, we laughed so much, it was great. Really my best bowling experience of all times and several of my team members said the same.

Stopped by for a late dinner, Don was our server. Funny and on point with what we needed.
Got the Hot Honey Hush puppies, wish the menu said they had bacon in them (still tasted great).

For dinner, got the appetizer of chicken wings as a meal and it was great, lots of flavor and meat. Also got the Nashville Hot Honey chicken, it came out wonderfully crispy and piping hot.

After settling up, Don wished us well.
Kudos to Don, we had a great experience and will be back in the future.

We vacation in Ogunquit and found Garden bowl about 5 years ago! What a gem to have big ball bowling and a gastro pub in the same location! This place is the bomb and super kids friendly. They have awesome milk shakes and the food is amazing! We just love Garden bowl and have made it a family tradition.

Absolutely gorgeous interior. A bit pricey, but with the benefit of excellent service (lane side) during "big ball" bowling. Plenty of space to not be squished against the people in the next lane. Next time I am NOT eating first because the food looked sooooo good! Will be back!

Tip: reserve your lane ahead! It gets busy.

Wow!!! Great price 30$ for and hour or so of bowling for the fam! Amazing food!! Good beer and wine selection!!! High end bowling but affordable!! Cant wait to just come

THE Best Food you'll ever have at a bowling alley.

GSB is a unique experience. It could stand on its own as a bar and restaurant so it's a great place to go bowling as the food and drinks are top notch.

The bowling lanes are a little different as the pins are on a string and marionette to rack. This can occasionally cause pins to go down that shouldn't because they get caught by the string but it if you're just going to have a good time it isn't enough of an issue to ruin it.

GSB also has trivia on Tuesday nights and runs leagues from time to time as well. The in house restaurant Crotux has a variety of upscale pub options and the poutine is always a hit.

Rotating taps of some of the best local beers, which also happen to be some of the best beers in the country make GSB a great spot to spend an evening with the family, friends or date night.

I love their french fries and their Shrimp Pad Thai. There was no wait time, and the service was friendly.

Jake at Garden Street Bowl helped us throw together a fairly last minute graduation party with huge success!

We were allowed in early to decorate and Casey and her team were very friendly, attentive and efficient throughout the entire event.

We rented the half bar area closest to the arcade which included so many activities which kept all ages entertained. We had 5 lanes of bowling to our disposal as well.

The space was private and had a decent sized lounge area. We also took note of how pristine the bathroom facilities were.

The food was coordinated perfectly and was hot, fresh and very tasty, especially the desserts!

We received much praise over this chosen venue and we look forward to booking another event in the future.

This place is great. The food is fantastic, I know it sounds weird that a bowling alley has good food but I would genuinely eat here even if I wasnt bowling. Great drink selection too

Food and drinks are awesome. I would recommend trying to call the day before to make a reservation if you're hoping to bowl.

We booked Garden Street Bowl for our wedding after party. We weren't able to visit the location beforehand, but it was a great decision. Jake was so helpful and accommodating to our requests. The venue was AWESOME and AFFORDABLE. Our guests had so much fun bowling and playing games that they rented additional lanes. And the food and drinks were delicious (the chicken wings especially were AMAZING)! Thank you so much for helping us cap off an amazing night!

What a diamond in the rough! Visiting town with friends and many restaurants could not accommodate a larger party. Came right in, great service, food was amazing! So cool that such a great restaurant is attached to the bowling alley/arcade! Highly recommend!
