Boulangerie - A Proper Bakery

Lovely bakery and Café in the Kennebunk area. The staff are very polite and courteous. The outside seating with the shade was quite pleasant, especially during the warm summer days, while sipping on an iced coffee.

Artisanal incredible French bakery with wine and delicious breads and baked goods. I loved the ham and cheese croissant, the blueberry filled pastry and the almond croissant! I highly recommend stopping by! Next time I'm going for their bread!!!

Boulangerie is always so yummy! From their Oatmeal Bread to their asparagus Asiago quiche and not to forget the best croissants on the east coast!! Today they had Saint Patrick’s day doggie biscuits /-green of course. The owner is super nice and always has a smile and a nice word as do all the staff. I really like that you can buy a loaf of bread for the local food pantry. Don’t miss this gem.

They do some things perfectly and others not so well. All the bread is impeccable. Pastry is good. The ploughmans lunch and cheese platter take away boxes are really well done. The coffee is always great. The quiche is some of the best I've ever had. We are lucky to have a place this authentic in the village, and I happily patronize them regularly.

Our first time to visit Boulangerie. So we bought all sorts of things to taste. The broccoli quiche is excellent. The peach and cinnamon muffin better than homemade. Having just returned from Paris I can attest to the croissant and baguette having authentic Parisian quality and taste. Exceptional!

Best bread in Maine. Everything is made In house . On the weekends you’ll see the line out the door . It does move quick . It’s 10000% worth it . Everything is amazing and the owner is a sweetheart

What a great bakery. Stopped by for breakfast before heading out for a hike nearby. Quiche was fantastic - light, fluffy, savory. The savory croissant of the day was also phenomenal with a perfectly flaky, crispy crust.

Delicious! I had the everything croissant with chive cream cheese. I'm currently considering getting a second...so good!! Great atmosphere and service.

One of the finest bakeries I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating at. As the first generation son of an Italian immigrant and the husband of a European, this bakery is absolutely on par, if not better than any you’d find on the streets of Paris or Rome. The quality and freshness of the food is superb. Their small but high quality wine selection is wonderfully curated Highly recommended.

So lovely and scrumptious! Just moved up here and it's such fun finding these gems. Can't wait to get there again!

Very pleasant service. Great selection of french pastries, breads, and other awesome looking treats.
We picked the chocolate croissant and cinimum roll, they we absolutely delicious. I warmed up the cinimum roll and it was the best I have had, lots of cinimum, sugar and frosting.
We will be back for sure to try other delights and some bread.

This is a delightful hidden gem! Just off the main street this bakery was just what we were looking for. Friendly staff, quick service, bread and pastries! We had a slightly warm ham and cheese croissant with cold brew. We also grabbed their premade sandwiches for lunch while we explored the area. I strongly encourage this for anyone traveling through the area.

A little off the beaten path. But Wow well worth it. I thought I was back in Europe. Coffee and croissant. That will blow away your taste buds. I travel the world. And today I have a new favorite bakery. To bad I live in McHenry il.

I had to go for the bread. I had just visited Main- ly Drizzle and asked the hotel manager where to get some crusty bread. She immediately recommended the Boulangerie. The head is off the chart wonderful, as well as the quiche that we had to try. I am going back before we leave to bring home the bread and anything else I can think of.

YUM. Cold brew is perfect. Chocolate croissants are heavenly. Ambiance is great. We stayed at the Kennebunk Inn do we got 10% off, it was perfect.

Baked goods superb! Staff lovely and efficient. Purchased special treats for health team.

This is a lovely little bakery! We went when it was brutally cold outside and there was no line. I have been warned the line is often out the door and it is best to arrive early. We got sourdough bread, jalapeño cheese bread, lemon poppyseed cookies, a raspberry danish, plain croissants, and almond croissants. Everything was delicious but the croissants were out of this world and the best I have ever had. You will not regret the visit!

This place is exactly what we have been searching for! A true bakery that smells like freshly baked goods and a gem of a find on a -5° day in Maine. We got the everything crossaint, blueberry mini pie, molasses cookie, and cheese twist along with some coffee and enjoyed every bite. If you’re passing through and want a quick bite, like we did, then this is definitely the best place to stop. It’s fast paced and what you see is what you get.
Which was great for me because I immediately saw a BBQ Chicken & Alfredo Foccacia Pizza and so I HAD TO! We also go a brownie that was the size of a mini pie! All together we payed less than 15 dollars and were in an out in 5-10 minutes with food in hand. And everyone was working was very nice!
