Alpena Mall

I was surprised at all the good stores! So many helpful business owners. I went there for vitamins and left meeting a lot of great people that would help me and areas that I wasn't expecting.

The mall is very low occupancy wise. However, I went specifically to visit Stitches n' Blooms. Wow, what a great store, beautiful cross stitch and framing store. Karen and her husband Michael do a wonderful job with their presentation and their work! Loved it! Thank you!!!!!💗

I myself, a 14 year old, live in Alpena, and the Alpena Mall was a very, very nice addition to the City. The Mall opened in 1980 and Originally had JCPenney, and Kmart, untill Kmart turned into "The Big K" and moved across the road into it's own building. The Alpena Mall only features Gordon Food Service, Skiba Vision Center, Duhnam's Sports, and Shoe Dept, and the Alpena Mall is no longer open to the Public. The Alpena Mall will always remain in our hearts as a nice memory! :',(

Very convenient location to downtown, room was spacious, and hotel had updated/modern decor; we all slept well and had a nice hot breaky in the AM.

Absolutely love the stores at the Alpena mall. Everything has changed since I've been in there last , but it's really nice. All the stores are easy to access from the mall. Just a nice place to visit.

The Style WhereHouse is Fantastic! I love their ever-changing selection of great clothes for women and men! They have shoes and jewelry too! It's a great consignment shop! If you're in the area, you should stop by and check it out, you're bound to find something you can't leave without! 😀

Go-to the mall and shop, nice people work there and the things you are wanting are here....avoid Amazon and the large amounts of cardboard waste that's overspilling in our landfills and the amount of energy wasted to bring you a box which contains a product you could get at your local store...keep local stores alive and eliminate spending money to make Jeff bezos rich while he says his employees part time minimum wages so he can stuff his pockets further

They have a great new pet store where we were able to get a large quantity of fish for pond without the Hassel of going to the big box screwball stores.

Went to Gordon's Food store. Mainly bulk items there. Nice if your catering a dinner or affair all kinds of frozen foods you just need to heat and serve. Supplies if you want to start from scratch and make your own. All manner of pots pans and utensils.

During the 2016 Christmas holidays there is a spectacular kiosk, that is right through the main entrance doors, that is a fashion lovers dream. There are splendid Christmas gifts for everyone. Their prices are the best in the state.

Nice little mall that's clean and well maintained. Got some good deals at JCPenney. Too bad the Sears hometown won't be participating in SYW any longer.

The beautiful decorations create an uplifting, almost fairytale shopping experience.
I found the employees always willing to do the extra thing to be helpful and friendly.

Went to the Shoe Dept and they had sooooo many choices lol.. I wish more people knew about the mall in Alpena. There are some cool stores that people just don't know about.

The Alpena Mall is a cute indoor mall that holds 20 unique small businesses. Whether you're looking for a new pair of shoes, needing a new fish, wanting a refreshing new hair style or want to browse the local farmers market you'll find it here. Stop in and see them, you'll be surprised by what you might find.

They want me to share my details on my experience at the mall. I don't just go there to hang out or walk or shop. I actually work at JC Penny! I just want to say though that after I started working there, I really haven't shopped at Walmart since then! JCPenney's has really good deals! I love the clearance sales especially when they have an extra 40 or 50% off the clearance item! And if they have coupons you can use them on top of the clearance with the extra percent off! If you have a $10 reward that you earned after getting 200 points you can also use that with a coupon! You can use a $10 reward they coupon but you cannot use two coupons together in one transaction. If you sign up for a JC Penny card you will get 15% off and if they have a coupon for 20% off your penny card, you will get to 15% off and the 20% off as soon as you get approved!! So come on in to JC Penny and check out all the sales and deals that we have in store because I'm sure you will enjoy what you find or at least see that there is lots of things to choose from that you cannot buy from Walmart or Meijer or any other store besides this one!

I love the Alpena mall because it is small and has the best shoe store along with great prices.There is also a unique gift shop that I like to shop for gifts.

There's been some noticeable improvements over the last couple of years. The finish line how we need now is some more stores in there and a Long John Silver's then Alpena would be complete

Small but has Sears and Pennys! And a new store is about to open called Upcycle Everything. Really good artist with an excellent concept. Opening soon!

I only went into one place there with a friend they were looking for shoes and boots and the shoe shop I can't remember what it was called but it started with shoe lol anyways that place was awesome with very friendly staff. If I could I'd go there for shoes and boots myself

They have a lot of good shops in there good people and real good deals I like going to GNC in the mall the manager is very nice and knowledgeable about all their products a big thumbs up
