Pretty cool Coke theme decorations at this fun counter service sandwich and ice cream shop. Stopped in for lunch and decided on the hotdog and fries meal.

Reasonable prices, freshly made. Short wait was worth it. Seating inside and out.

We always stop at Happy Jacks when in McHenry. We used to live there but moved away years ago but when visiting we always get the two Chicago dogs, fries and drink. Great food!

I’ve been here 3 times now, and each time I’ve been greeted with smiles and kindness. The owners are very kind and welcoming. To make this better the scenery is very cool! Seeing the massive collection of antique Coca-Cola products is amazing, not to mention the food is amazing quality for its low prices. The mixed Italian sub and Italian beef are mind blowing and 10/10 recommend to everyone.

Classic Sub Shop with Ice cream parlor, Coca-Cola themed. The food is great, staff is so friendly. Family owned. The sandwiches are made with Turano bread, can't get any better. I love this place!

I've been going to this place since I was a super little kid. Got to love this restaurant. Great food always has been never changes. If you ask me that's a good restaurant one that always serves quality. And not to mention great selection of ice cream.

We have been driving by this place for years, and always wanted to stop in. I’m SO glad I did today! What a great place!!!

Everyone enjoyed their hot dogs and fries. I loved the chicken dumpling soup. Didn't have room for dessert but I tasted the pumpkin ice cream and it was amazing!

A very old food and ice cream joint as I had a delicious burger and fries with a drink there but they also have more if you don't want a burger.

For dessert I had a banana split milkshake which was to die for but if your up for different desserts and ice cream flavor they have a lot to choose from.

Came back for a visit after 6 years of being gone it's just the same... Made us both very happy

Really a great old school ice cream shop with short order burgers, fries and other treats. Friendly staff and a nice variety of choices. The banana shake (with fresh bananas in it) was so good on a hot June day. Hand scooped ice creams with many interesting flavors. Inside and outdoor seating. Will go back for sure.

I found this place by accident and am so glad I did. The place is so fun - the quintessential hot dog joint with an ice cream parlor attached. The food is good and well-priced, and the ladies behind the counter were friendly and funny.

My mom and grandparents used to take me here as a little kid. It looks just like it did 15 years ago. I loved it and missed it food was great. And they still have the paper cars for your food I still highly recommend it and also after eating you can get some very good ice cream after

We love their subs! HJ's seems to be one of the few places that offer corned beef subs, and they are delicious! My son loves their burgers and shakes, too, and you can't beat their sub reward punch card!

Staff is always friendly. Love all the memorabilia of old coke products everywhere. Food is delicious and fast.
