Scott County Public Library Austin Branch

I have had to use this library a lot since moving here, and I have to say it's always been pleasant. Not a huge library by any means, but they're always friendly and I've never had any issues using their computers (which is what I have gone there for). My son enjoyed playing on their little race car rug and looking at books while I worked on something on the computers. I know they try to do events there to get more people involved, but haven't had a whole lot of luck. But they do seem like they care about the neighborhood and town.

I like the update. And the lady there was so nice. She gave me crafts and coloring pages for my boy.

Fantastic for a small-town Library~ Judy + the other librarians are extremely knowledgeable~always lend a friendly ear & a smile while assisting patrons with a wide variety of needs no matter how difficult..

The lady was very helpful and friendly. It may be small but is very welcoming atmosphere.

The Austin Branch opens at 9:30 . There is NOTHING on their website about taking a lunch break 2 HOURS later!!! Then they turn the open sign around right in my face. RIDICULOUS!!!!!
