Really great emergency staff. toddlers lips swelled up 3x their size i guess he had an allergic reaction to something. ER STAFF WAS VERY QUICK AND ON POINT! on phone with er and got him to emergency entrance myself, they rushed him immediately hooked him up and started iv’s and i guess medicine to combat an allergic reaction. he had to be poked a few times and taped up but he finally calmed down and fell asleep and the medicine started working and within a few hours the swelling subsided completely. big thanks to Doctor Croasdale and the nurses staff on scene ❤ 10/10

We found our self in the ER early yesterday morning after something had been stuck in my seven year olds foot for the last week. I have tried so hard to get it out and it became infected. Within one hour Dr. Croasdell had an X-ray complete, gave him a nice numbing shot in the foot, popped the abscess and removed the huge splinter, administered his first dose of antibiotic and sent us on our way! Thank you for getting us in and out so fast and for handling my boy with such tender care! Not only was our service very timely, bedside manner was also top notch and the doctor made my seven year old feel very comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation.

My son who is dealing with a lot right now went to have an echocardiogram at Scottsburg hospital and said she was the nicest and kindest person who has ever took care of him. Thank you so much for being loving to him.

I have to say, this is my first time having to stay in a hospital. So far, the staff here at Scott County Hospital has been AMAZING!! Everyone has been friendly, light hearted and very personable. They have made me feel so welcome and at ease and even a few laughs. Although I did have an issue with one of the doctors in the ER, I have addressed my concerns and I was assured that they would be given to the appropriate people. Another thing is, the technology they have here has blown me away. I’m still here playing the waiting game on my medicine, it’s nothing with the staff it’s just a medicine that has to be dialed in perfectly and it takes time/depends on the person.

Sharla in the lab did a wonderful job with my son! His experience was a good one and he is no longer afraid of getting blood drawn.
Had to get labs again & the lab personnel did fantastic. Thank you so much to Whitney. She put my child at ease and was so kind.

I have used this hospital for 2 years now and I have never had a bad experience. I saw one review where 1 star was given because the poor soul has to wait 15 minutes. Good luck with a shorter wait at any other hospital. I've never had an issue with waiting or being properly treated! My biggest compliment is the continuity of care. At least for myself, it doesn't matter what physician is on duty, I'm always treated with respect and compassion. If they know you have a legitimate issue, they treat it accordingly! I'd give y'all ten stars if I could. Very rarely, I might cross paths with someone who shouldn't work around around the public but not often. Some folks don't take into consideration the fact that that doctor you just saw might've just had to pronounce the death of a child etc... Or just got verbally assaulted because they're not perfect! Kudos to Dr. Shane Avery, Dr. Hicks, Dr Carter, Dr Croasdale, Dr. Skip, Dr Cooke and the night hospitalist. And the countless other staff members in charge of my health that I can't remember the names of all but big shout out to Wilma, Jean, Cathy, Zane and Dianna of the scu! Just all wonderful providers and caregivers. I can't speak for all but if you're an established patient, are completely honest and respectful, you'll get that and more in return.

Amazing emergency room staff, took care of my wife both times she had to go in for her kidney stones. The doctor on call was polite and explained everything really well and got us transferred to Clark memorial for surgery. I recommend them to anyone having any pain etc. Their ambulance people also arrived very quickly and we're extremely nice and understanding as well.

We were traveling with a friend who needed medical attention and the staff in the ER 5/5 was amazing! Started with the girl checking us in, The nurses coming out to the van to get our friend out of the Van. I want to say Thank You! Lord Bless for all you do for others who are in pain & scared!

I owe the life of my father to Dr. Pace and the staff at Scott County Memorial Hospital. They may be small, but they are mighty. We had excellent care and consideration. I'm glad we didn't transfer Dad to a metropolitan hospital because it was "bigger"...it couldn't have been better!

I had surgery at Scott Memorial today. I would recommend them to any family or friend. Professional, knowledgeable & very kind & helpful. The facility was very clean. My surgeon, anesthesiologist, nurses, & the support staff were terrific & it was so convenient since I live here. Highly recommend.

I was totally impressed by the process of getting my labs drawn. It went smoothly, little wait time. The gal who drew my labs was kind and explained everything to me. A great experience

Not really sure what everyone is complaining about had an amazing experience was seen by doctor Hicks who diagnosed and treated me for my issue and also found another issue and also diagnosed and treated it made sure I was in no pain gave me all the medications I need referrals nursing staff was incredibly considerate hospital where was clean doctor was extremely friendly and nice would definitely go back

I give Dr. Hicks and the ER staff 2 thumbs up! I got excellent efficient care. I couldn’t have asked for more.

They have most imagining and lab work you could ask for and a decent emergency room. They will not give pain medicine unless you absolutely need it so don't try

Very compasionate workers when i was in er for a burn they were top notch. Very clean facility also.
