Blaine's is EXCELLENT! He's honest and insists on quality. I can CLEARLY see he uses quality parts and stands behind his work. He replaced our engine and took care of all the after care needs (1st oil change, alignment as he had to pull the engine with the transmission, changed the transmission oil while it was out and checked over the entire vehicle) to make double sure his level of quality is met. This place is worth the dollar you'll spend to use his services!

John Blaine provided me with a thorough inspection of a 2008 Porsche 911 that was for sale at a local dealership. -- Their inspection price was a 1/3 of every other import mechanic in the Plainfield area and he covered every aspect of the car from mechanics to exterior appearance. -- Very professional and friendly. Glad I took a chance with Blaine's. Took my daughter's VW EOS in because her top and windows wouldn't operate. Also had a Service Engine Soon light on with some whining noise from transmission. He cleared the codes and got the windows working and transmission whining is gone because of his bigger scanner which my OB2 scanner couldn't do. He also found that the convertible motor/pump was bad because water got to it. He notified me that it's backordered and hard to find. So he gave me the part number and said if I can find it less expensive or sooner he'll gladly replace it. So until then I can pick up the car. I asked him how much I owed him, he said it was only a diagnosis so nothing. Well I said you got a few issues taken care of. He said no worries just think of Blaine's when I need servicing on my vehicles. I definitely found my new mechanic, Thanks Again Blaine's!!!

I was pleased with Blaine’s services from the beginning, it was a pleasure. John was so nice and informative. I needed my oil pan replaced because it had a leak/hole. I dropped off my car in the morning and picked it up before the end of day. My car feels and runs great and it was affordable too. Thank you so much for being so honest and helpful. Just in time - I had called John to fix a few issues (ignition housing, window regulator) on a car that would be presented to my daughter for her 16th birthday. John was able to move up the date to fix it and returned it to me as promised before the reveal. Thanks John, not only for addressing the issues, but coming in on budget as stated. Will be bringing it in for other items for service as they pop up. Thanks again.

I've been going to Blaine's for the last few years and have always had a great experience. Today was above and beyond. I had an issue where I didn't feel comfortable driving my car. I called Blaine's and described the issue. He knew exactly what the issue was and told me to cancel the tow truck and he'd come to me. He got there and the issue was fixed within minutes. And then to top it all off he didn't even charge me. Blaine's has saved me hundreds to thousands of dollars in the past and saved me a ton more today. I'll be a customer forever.

I found myself in need of an oil leak fix. My husband has been using Blaine’s for some time and John did not disappoint. He was able to take care of my car quickly and with care. Very professional and efficient. Previously I have always brought my car to the dealer but I always feel they are way overcharging me and not sure they are working in my best interest. I went to John and was surprised to finally find that repair place that cares! You can tell when someone is not honest and John was very straightforward! He took me step by step through the car to demonstrate the issues. Then a problem I had from another mechanic (that took 6 hours) he fixed in no time with the proper Toyota parts not cheap Autozone parts! In addition, he didn't overcharge and I didn't have to go back twice for the repair like all other shops!! He did it right the FIRST time and that is unheard of these days. We ended up taking our second car there and same story....a job well done! John is definitely our new guy! Thank you!

John is great. Helped me out tremendously last minute on my Audi. He was professional with me and called me to check as well a few days later. I’ll be coming back to him no question. Not to mention he saved me a temendous amount of money .

Once again helped me with a battery replacement /diagnostic. Check and was very professional/kind and easy to talk to. His shop is a diamond in the rough!

I wasn't able to get my car in due to them booked for more then a week. But when I called Blaine took the time to understand the issue and point out what are somethings I can check for. He also suggested a few other services that can help me quickly. In the end the issue with my car was exactly what he pointed out and I was able to get it resolved someplace else. I wanted to give 5 stars because he took the time to talk to me and understand the problem even though they were booked and busy. I will definitely keep him in mind next time I need something done on my car.

First time customer. I recently had the transmission cooler lines for my 2016 Chevrolet Malibu replaced. John quoted me hundreds of dollars less for the service than both the dealership and another independent auto shop. I brought my car in for a late morning appointment and the service was completed before end of the business. John followed up with me a couple of days after the service as well. I'll definitely use Blaine's Automotive in the future.

Blaine’s Automotive is a great place. Honest and fair pricing. I was there couple years ago for a new transmission and just recently for a new radiator. I would definitely recommend going there.

Always a trusted honest shop that goes beyond expectations for complicated and intensive repairs. I’ve had everything from brake line repairs to engine replacement done here - Range Rover and BMW. Most recently an intermittent clicking sound and they fixed that too. Thank you!
