Aloft Chicago Schaumburg

I was sent here by the airport and let me just day how grateful I am for all of your hospitality. The bartender made me the perfect Cosmo. The room was cute. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel amazing. Even the blowdryer impressed me. Thank you thank you thank you!

This is an incredible hotel. Clean, accommodating, and quiet! We will stay here again and look for more Alofts in our travels. Beds are comfortable. Good size rooms. When I asked for more towels they were brought up within 10 mins. I also love the blinds.

We stayed here when our flight was cancelled. The hotel was excellent. Clean, very nice.
Liz & Dee were very helpful, when the shuttle service did not work out they booked an Uber to the airport.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay.
I liked that the rooms and lobby were not decorated in the boring, "traditional" hotel way.
Couches and lounge area in the lobby were actual very comfortable and enjoyable to spend some time.
Mini fridge in room had a good amount of room and worked well. Room was very clean.
Free coffee in the lobby during morning hours was good. Good variety of snacks available for purchase at all hours in case of midnight (or whenever) cravings.
Nice little outdoor patio and fireplace area.
Our bathroom had a bit of a "open" floor plan so privacy was rather lacking in the shower area - just a heads up.

A few minor issues / room for improvement:
(1) Really need more hangers in the room. There is plenty of room on the clothes hanging rod to add more.
(2) Visited in late spring and would have preferred the (indoor) pool area to be a few degrees warmer. The air temperate in the pool room was not much warmer than the rest of the hotel which did not really encourage swimming.
(3) Would like daily housekeeping, even if just the basics of emptying trash and changing towels.

Great hotel. I stayed here for a work trip. Service was very friendly. My room was very clean. The bar is nice. The fitness facility was adequate. I will definitely stay here again.

Clean and modern rooms and comfortable beds. Good amenities and events (live music). Fast check in/out and friendly staff. A bit far from the airport and up to 45 min wait for a shuttle.

Comfy stay
We had an amazing time at Aloft. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly and accomodating. We really liked that there was an indoor bar with an awesome bar hostess named Monica. She was really fun to talk to. The room we got was top notch clean and the bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was water leaking on the bottom of the toilet, but after notifying the front desk, they sent the technician out right away and they fixed it. My husband and I recommend that hotel 100%.

Absolutely love this hotel! Only stayed for a night but the people at the reception was amazing and my room was pretty! Bathroom, automatic curtains, great atmosphere is easily became one of my favorite hotels to stay! Only issue was shower gel was out but was already in the shower so I shrugged it off

Ended up here due to being stranded by a canceled American Airlines flight on March 7th. Almost 20 of us arrived at the same time, after 10PM. Kitchen reopened to provide us hungry, exhausted travelers a hot meal. Kudos to these folks for accommodating us and allowing us some comfort during a trying time.

Recently stayed here for a short business trip. I must say this was one of the best stays I've had in a hotel in a long time.
Pros:- New Hotel, Clean, Quiet, free parking. The bonvoy mobile check-in ensured I had a good room on a higher floor even after my midnight arrival. Room was quiet, comfortable bed, loved the size of the bathroom, shower was delightful, shower gel had the best smell wow! I actually slept very well each night and typically I struggle sleeping in hotels. I hear they have breakfast but I did not try it. Great lobby area for longer staying guests who do not want to be in their room all day.
Cons:Their lattes are delicious but they charge for them at the front desk. I appreciate the free water but I had to walk down to get it or get bottles on my way up to my room which was not a big deal. I did not see room service or asked if I need any fresh towels etc. No Microwave but there is a mini fridge in the room. Need an iron and not that steamer provided. 4 hangers provided.

The gentleman that checked me in was fantastic, smiled the entire time and pleasant during my late check-in. Thank you!!!
Interestingly, i've never been a fan of Aloft's but this one changed my mind. If ever in Schaumburg, you have a return customer. Overall I giver them 5 stars since my stay was short and very comfortable. Highly recommend! Only took one picture of the room.

Great hotel. Read other reviews, but I did not experience any negative. Rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. Pool area was chilly but nice!

If you want a newly built and well cared for hotel that has clean, modern and functional in its sights this is the place to be. And that comes from a diehard Hilton customer. I have tried several Hiltons in the area and was totally disappointed in the maintenance and upkeep. I grew tired of old and odd smelling and these were higher end Hilton properties. Marriott pilot the nail on the head with this design. I’ve been back 5 times since stumbling on this hotel.

Friday, May 12, 2023. Nice clean NEW hotel just opened January 2023. Ashley checked me in very promptly. I was told $50 incidentals but was charged $100.

Everything bright & colorful. My room was clean, no bed bugs.
No bright light from fridge.
The walls are thin & can hear everything but it was still quiet on my stay.

Got a complimentary breakfast to go but I didn't get it. NO FREE breakfast. However, plenty of restaurants nearby.

Too sleepy to swim but it looked clean.

Overall 8/10 due to wrong incidental price and no free breakfast. I'll stay again

I visit different hotels in the Schaumburg area. This is one of the most beautiful hotels, amazing ligths outsite, and good ambiance. I love the decoration and the customer service completely, of thef front desk ladys. They are respectful, helpers, and kind. The housekeeping is the same.

Hotel has a nice pool. Great bar with good drinks and decent food for a hotel bar.

I stay at hotels in the outer Chicago area weekly for work. The staff at this hotel rates a 10/10. High quality people. The hotel is extra clean, and is brand new construction. The rooms are set up thoughtfully with plenty of space. The bar and restaurant offer a convenient solution for a late dinner, or drinks with specialty cocktail options. Overall this is very nice modern hotel with top tier hospitality.

Had a great experience. Room was clean. Service was great, the common area has a good vibe.
I wish they had the water fountain that also fills up water bottles, and hopefully next time the coffee machine works. Overall great stay!

Booked a last minute reservation after a long day and was greeted by Charlie as soon as I walked in. I spoke to him earlier on the phone and he remembered my name and treated me like a friend. I called down with a few questions and each time was treated very kindly. The Hotel overall was very modern and clean. This is expected from a new hotel but this review was to recognize the amazing customer service I received from Charlie. Thank you!

Lastly, having worked at Marriott for years, I’ve never seen a group of more entitled and privileged people as marriott “platinum” and “titanium” members. Learn to be more kind and understanding as the red carpet cannot always be rolled out for you and all hotels cannot be built to accommodate your specific needs.

My husband and I booked our wedding hotel block at the Aloft and we had the best experience. During the booking and planning process, Carmie was so helpful ensuring all guests were able to book in the block. Carmie also ensured the bridesmaids and groomsmen had plenty of room to get ready/take pictures in the morning. Lastly, throughout our stay, all the staff, especially Dennis, went above and beyond to help carry items to our car, make sure no one saw me the morning of the wedding, and that all guests were happy! Would recommend using the Aloft Hotel to all future brides!
