Pete's Fresh Market #6 - Cermak & Rockwell

It has been many years since I shopped here. I think it has been remodeled. This store is so awesome, I may make it my #1 grocer! They have the best produce section. It's well lit, I got some great bargain deals and the fruits and veggies are so fresh. I also love the food and salad bars. They have great parking. I really like this Pete's Market! I highly recommend.

Each time I visit to chicago and I eat food from Pete's . The produce is always fresher than other places. The store is kept very neat and clean. I'm Italian and I know the produce when I see

Excellent grocery store I am sure you can spend couple hours here shopping. However, today I came in for the salad food bar amazingly fresh items. The Greek salad shrimp & habenero wings were great.

It's a new nice place to get fresh produce.

Amazing fresh market with large quantities and varieties of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and other grocery stuff. There is a big corner for hot served food which you can take away. Freshly baked variety of breads and cakes available. Got this pack of yummy cheesecake from here. Loved this place!!

This is the best Pete's in the Chicago area. It has a huge variety of produce! The deli is amazing! They also have an fantastic bakery. Sushi here is lunch go to for me. As if that wasn't enough they also have a pretty good selection of middle Eastern and Asian staples here. Prices are extremely reasonable! This is my favorite grocery store in Chicago!

I believe this was my first time actually going into the store. I've dropped people off here several times. I was impressed with the cleanliness and variety of items available at this location. The self-serve cooked food area was clean, well stocked, posted gloves were required before serving self, and the gloves were provided. I did not notice any empty shelves. A little pricey, including some advertised sale items. I did not buy anything this time but I will go here again.

Pete's has a great variety of Produce, and other Healthy Food Options, that can suit anyone...I highly recommend the Store.

Now carries vegan and vegetarian options! Cheese, milk, yogurt, tofu, even vegetarian sausages. Currently immediately to the right as you enter.

This place has it all. Fresh produce, packaged deli, seafood, hot food, canned items and bakery goods.

I love this store! Always fresh vegetables. All kinds of varieties. With this inflation, prices are reasonable. Lots of goodies, and store is organized and clean.

I'm rating this place 5 star because overall it's Fresh produce. Always clean. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Wide variety of fresh meats. And ready to cook at home pre-season meats. (Fajitas or burgers, meditarían flavored chicken) just to name a few from their endless selection.

Or if your are like me, always on the go and no time to cook. This place has an awesome salad bar where you can prepare or they can prepare at your request. Soup to warm you up and a wide variety of hot food like chile rellenos, frijoles charros, chicken, meat loaf. meatloaf was flavorful but I think this time they forgot the bread crumbs because it was too hard. Good deli section. Ceviche is awesome! That's My favorite. Try the Coctel de Camaron on a tostada or tortilla chip.
They also have a juice bar right at the entrance and a separate section for sushi. Yes I said sushi. Made to order or pick up the prepackaged.
Although they have a bakery section it's really not the best. The Mexican bread is ok but lacks flavor, texture. The French loafs are great.

They have a seating area for quick bite too. I'm always on the go, I've never sat and eat there. I usually take my food home. Location is prime, lots of little shops, or go burn off all the calories with the gym next door.

Best grocery store in the neighborhood. The produce is phenomenal and they have a wild selection of food.

I particularly appreciate the produce and bakery items at Pete's. Early mornings are a treat for your senses, as you are greeted with the aroma of freshly baked pastries.
If you have a vegetarian or vegan diet, there is a sizable selection on non-dairy refrigerated items as well.

I love the fresh fruit selection and the hot bar. The jerk rice with chicken is my favorite.

The best supermarket around the area in my opinion. Especially if you are looking for out of season produce etc. They also have all the Goya canned goods you can ask for and a good selection of meats.

They have a big variety of produce. Their prices are fine. Love buying my produce from here. Plus the cooked food and sushi are amazing. Would totally recommend this place

I am a regular shopper and today I tried the burguer which was good and reasonably priced. Fries were soggy and more than I could eat so as someone from the industry I would suggest to reduce the amount of fries but invest in the quality. Battered fries will hold crispness better, create more air pickets giving the impression of more fries so even if more costly just reduce the portion.

Amazing quality, selections and staff! Never in all of my visits seen anything out of place this store is VERY organized and the produce area is ALWAYS neat, uniformed and FRESH! I'm never disappointed when going to this store. The bakery is wonderful and always offering new items nothing is ever the same and the quality is always reminiscent of home-baked! Sadly I'm never spend too much time in this store because everything is neatly laid out and every aisle is so neat and organized, makes for a better shopping experience.
