Lee's Variety

A hidden gem of fabric and quilting supplies. Located in the back of this old time feeling “drug/variety store” is a treasure of fabric and quilting supplies. A good variety of fabrics, notions, patterns and stencils. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

We love the variety store. Reminiscent of yesteryear. A store like you'd expect to see in St Charles or Carmel-by-the Sea, but yet it's close to home! Anyhow, Pat was extremely helpful today. We needed canning supplies and all other stores are sold out. She helped me find spices and jars. We could have talked forever. She's an asset

Loved it, many beautiful items, quilting blocks, pillowcases, towels. Beautiful fabric, bright happy colors, dmc embroidery thread, 69 cents, round balls with enormous amount of colors for $2.29. You can't get either of those items at that price at Hobby lobby or Michael's. Worth the trip, I will be back.

Wonderful old timey feel, and modern items, esp. sewing supplies, cards, and everything you would want, even old time candy like older five and dime stores! Great place to visit and shop!

Happened in there for the fabric and quilting supplies. Pleasantly surprised. I had never been there before. Met Lee, the owner and she was soooo friendly. I enjoyed chatting with her. I will definitely go back. They have lots of other things, I didn't get a chance to look at. Next time I go I will check out the rest of the store.

I LUV this place - reminds me of the Five and Dime stores of the '50s!! I can get embroidery supplies here that I can't get anywhere else in southern Illinois!! And the prices are GREAT!

I just love this place. I found christmas lights from my childhood. If your looking for the classic or unique, Lee's is the place to go.
