John Hunt Park Championship Soccer Stadium

One of the nicest soccer facilities I have ever seen! They have amazing grass and even a turf filled for when it rained. I love that they had stadium seating and delicious food at the concession stand. The bathrooms were always clean and the staff was extremely friendly.

Nicest fields around. The whole park is extremely nice. The parking is more than adequate, the cleanliness, and location are all fantastic.

This place is amazing! So far I’ve only been on the trails to run and walk on, but there’s also tennis courts, biking trails, grassy cross country trails, sand volleyball courts, soccer / multipurpose fields, even an ice sports center for year round ice skating, a fun playgrounds for kids, skatepark, disc golf course, plenty of restrooms and more… John Hunt Park is truly awesome and well worth checking out with friends and family. I’m excited to continue coming here again and again.

It's a beautiful, safe park with clean restrooms and plenty of space but you may want to get there early if you're going to a championship as the spaces fill up really quickly I have no complaints about this location and I recommend it

This skatepark is exceptional. With a diverse range of obstacles suitable for both vert and street skaters of all levels; it offers ample space and excellent flow for cruising. The well-maintained restrooms and shaded areas make it even more inviting, especially during warmer months. I highly recommend this park to any skaters in the vicinity.

Great area for children to run & play; varied equipment for them to challenge themselves.
(I wish Huntsville could have preserved the Original Kid's Space for comparison & progress & nostalgia!)

The skate park is legendary. The Kids Space playground is amazing. There is a bunch of other stuff like a cross country track, volleyball courts, tennis courts, and more.

If you like walking in wide open spaces with lots of sunshine then John Hunt Park is the perfect place. Converted golf course with several ponds, not strenuous but has a few hills. Anybody who enjoys walking for exercise will enjoy their visit here.

Had a great time ice skating with my kids! They have helpers that will keep them upright as well. Pretty cheap thing to do given the cost of things like UA or D&B now a days.

Fantastic new sports venue - dedicated lacrosse fields are a welcome first for Huntsville. Many thanks to all who helped it happen!

It’s getting better. Almost 30 years ago I organized one of the first soccer tournaments at this complex with only two fields which are still beautiful. It is now growing to at least a dozen fields, less than a half mile from the stadium hosting the Huntsville City FC, an MLS NextPro team.

We planted 4 trees in an Operation Green Team and City of Huntsville volunteer activity. It was beautiful and they made it so easy. The holes were dug and dirt on the side. We just took trees out of the pots, placed them in the holes, then filled it in. Now there will be beautiful oak and maple trees growing there long after I'm gone. I remember airliners landing there over the Parkway. Good Job, Huntsville!

I went for the Kite Festival and it was a perfect day. Sunny and Windy! Park is setup to handle the large crowds.

The place is pretty frigging rad!!! This place could compete with any sports complex in the nation! Skate park is awesome!!!

The stadium was wonderful, field of play ( pitch) was well done and the overall experience was fantastic. I do wish our seats were more away from the speakers, music was way too loud for 70 year olds. We didn't know that when we got our season tickets.
