Best museum we have been to. The curator, Mr. Aguirre, gave us a personal tour. We were amazed on how much history Eagle Pass has. Mr. Aguiller was very knowledgeable and made the experience an amazing one! 5 stars!!!!!

The museum wasn't even open when I got there but a very nice gentleman allowed me to walk around anyway. Great artifacts, newspaper clippings, photos. Well worth stopping by!

What an incredible treasure!! The museum and its devoted curator, Mr. Jeff Taylor Sr., are a wonderful example of American history preservation in this spicy little border town. Mr. Taylor is a gem with stories for miles and a genuine interest in igniting a love for local relics. He encourages a hands-on experience inside the old Fort Duncan Headquarters building with many spacious rooms chock-full of carefully selected artifacts from the military, surrounding area, and native peoples. No matter your interests, there is something for everyone to see. We spent hours exploring and could have spent weeks. There is no cost to visit, but generous donations help to keep the lore of Eagle Pass alive. GO!!

The proprietor was very friendly and informative. The displays were authentic and varied time periods. I loved all of the different wars the displays covered as well as local memorabilia from various time periods. We all are definitely returning on our next visit. A must see. Highly recommended.

I will start off by saying never judge a book by its cover. Although at first glance the small building seems to be a typical small-town Museum, this time capsule within is a whole nother story. Not only do you receive Eagles Pass' history through paper archives and artifacts from the past but you also get verbal history from Mr Taylor, the Museum's coordinator. Don't be fooled this Museum will not be a run in run out in 15 minutes this is definitely something you want to spend time looking at every archive. I left this place with so much knowledge and hope to come back soon.

Small museum in Eagle Pass. The curator that gave us a tour was great. It took longer than it should, but his stories are very enlightening of the history of the area.

Worth stopping by if you're in the area. The curator, Oscar, is very friendly and gives guided tours of the collection. Only wish the city would preserve and open some of the other fort buildings.
