This place was recommended by a colleague wasn't sure what to expect so far haven't had any good experiences eating around Vernon this place was very packed but everyone was very friendly from staff to the local diners it felt very welcoming and like you were at home ... Just a heads up this place gets pretty busy so if you're on a time limit call your order in, learned that this trip . I ordered the special chicken fried steak meal came with two sides and banana bread for dessert this food is amazing and the banana bread was so good I'll def be going back and highly recommend you give it a try if you haven't already!!

Love 2 go eat fish at this place. But only on Fridays. If you get the opportunity to go you need to go.

Accidently found this place while traveling cross country. It's literally a cafe at a livestock pavillion and the food is fantastic if you like authentic country cooking. Get the country pile-up, biscuit with hashbrowns on top, fresh sausage patty crumble and egg on top of that. Amazing!

really glad that I caught their fish plate Friday special. This place is very rustic very friendly the portions were large and well cooked I really enjoyed the fried catfish and the hush puppies. Very hard to beat a full plate of cat fish, sides and drink with a piece of cake for $10. I will make it a point to eat here when I'm in Vernon.

Breakfast is always awesome!! Coffee is great!! The Wednesday Burgeres are filling and delicious!! Thr Friday catfish will hit the spot & you'll have leftovers to munch on with the huge portions!! Mandy can fix you up with anything as long as it's in stock, from fried Bologna to a Blt biscuit or steak and eggs!!

This place takes the cake for me. Excellent steak and eggs ! You'll not find a better , or anything close in price. . Great prices , Excellent food , perfect service. Don't miss out on this one .

Honest no frills country dinner. Menu depends on the day. Today was burgers. I had a bacon cheese burger with fries and sweet tea for $7. Cattle country local patrons that remind me of a slower time. Don't be put off by the cattle yard out back. Talk about farm to table.

We stopped by on our road trip just looking for some coffee, instead we found warm smiles, delicious food and the need to come back next we are in the area. The food is very cheap but of the highest quality. I would highly recommend to anyone.
