I have been to the Louvre, Vatican and British Museum and they are nothing compared to this treasure trove of artifacts near the panhandle. The greatest museum experience of my life, by far. It's hard to believe they crammed so many artifacts and information in one place.

One of the best museum experiences I have had. Preston Cary has created an absolute treasure of Vernon’s history and presents it with a true love of the town. My Camp Fire group was delighted with his stories of the background of his collections and came away with a better understanding of their community. I highly recommend a visit to this remarkable museum!

The Wilbarger county museum in my opinion was awesome. Me and my family visited there today. We had the tour. The man was pleasant and very knowledgeable about this wonderful place. And it did not cost nothing other than time. It well worth the time.

This museum has an amazing collection of artifacts on display that few others can rival. All either originate from the county or feature aspects unique to the county. I recorded a video tour but I do recommend a visit in person.
