Three Hearts Steakhouse

Stopped in for a quick bite on our way back to Dallas from Colorado. We were so surprised by this cute little steakhouse. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and friendly! We will make the drive to come back and have dinner again!

This place is better than the fancy steakhouse's of Dallas! beautiful vibe and service. My highest reccomendation!

My server, Noel, was attentive and personable. He assured me that the chef knew how to cook a steak, and I was not disappointed. I got the ribeye. It was tender, delicious, and cooked perfectly rare. They are dog friendly, so you don't have to worry about your four legged friends if you are traveling. ❤

Great chicken fried steak. Gravy was excellent. However, the fried okra was undercooked and not very hot. That said, we would certainly go back. Great break from driving if you are passing through.

Second restaurant I’ve eaten at in Vernon, Texas since I moved here. They cooked me up an amazing steak and I am in love with their onion twisters! The atmosphere is incredible, you get this feeling when you are in there and you can feel the history. A lot has happened in those walls and I don’t need anyone to tell me that!! Perfect place for a date night after messing with livestock all day. Casual but elegant, they really did strike a perfect balance where I didn’t feel like I needed to dress up, but I wouldn’t have felt out of place if I did. They do take credit cards, but I recommend you pay with cash or card to avoid surcharges (cash and checks are king in Vernon). Service was eager to please, although I was a touch frustrated by the almost obsessive check ins. I also was given double desserts when we wanted to split one, although I wasn’t necessarily complaining:)

I stopped by here for lunch on a road trip with a friend from Dallas to Denver. We were both really craving chicken fried steak and ordered it with a side of Caesar salad and mashed potatoes. Our server was incredibly attentive, friendly and anticipated our needs. The food was delicious and we were happy we chose to stop here. A couple hours later I noticed I was missing my puffer jacket. I was worried because it is hard to replace and I called the restaurant to see if they had found it. They were patient and quickly let me know that they did have it there. As I wasn’t driving back through, I asked if there was any way it was possible they could mail it to my home address in Dallas. They accommodated my request without hesitation. Next time I make my way northwest I will absolutely be stopping here.

Found this place because my GPS said there was a Cracker Barrel here - WRONG!
A local when asked about the Cracker Barrel pointed us to this place.
Wonderful historic building on a historical square.
Used to be a men's clothing store since the early 1900s.
Still has the tin ceiling and old safe still in use.
They also proudly display the clothing store's sign inside over the front door.
The food was great and the owner was very friendly and talkative.
My BLT was piled with crisp fresh bacon - yum :)
There was a really nice acrylic painting in the men's bathroom that the owner had found for a song.

The chicken fried steak and the fried okra are the best IMHO.
Came in before the lunch rush was a good idea.
My boyfriend and I will visit again.

This is the first time I had ever ate here, didn't know it was here. This was amazing. Awesome food wonderful service. Thank you. I will be back.

Sooo good!! Everyone was friendly and quick! Food came fast and they were super busy. Ribeye salad and Ribeye dinner was superb! Had fried mushrooms and fried pickles too, AMAZING! Ate them before taking a pic! Lol.

The Service was great. They went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The food was outstanding. The prices are reasonable and you get a lot on your plate. I have not been to restaurant of this caliber in a long time. Can't wait to go back.

Located in a small town but good services and the chicken chops was crispy perfect match with the gravy.

My wife and I got there right before 12pm and there was no wait, we were seated immediately. The food came at fast and hot and our server was awesome. He stopped by several times to check on us and made sure everything was to our liking, he was also very polite and professional! Great job Noel!!!

Probably one of the better steaks I've ever had. Whenever we are passing through town, we always stop here. Good service and prices aren't outrageous.

Great place to eat , service is always on point - I find something new on the menu every time that becomes my new favorite lol - I’m lucky enough to live here in town , but I would drive too eat , it’s just that type of place 👍🏼

This is a great steakhouse. Best ribeye I’ve had in a long time. Prices aren’t bad for the quality and quantity of food. Sides were delicious also. It’s on the higher end of places in the area, so don’t go in dressing like a slob!

Nice little Texas steak joint. Good tasty food. The first of 4 restaurants where I ordered water no ice and actually got it. Food was very tasty and cooked to order. Worth every penny. Wait staff and bus boys were on point.
