Rise Church

We love this church! When we moved to San Antonio, the community we found here made it such an easy transition. We got plugged into a small group early, and the friends made there have become our crew 3 years later.

This church does a great job taking the anxiety away from visiting a church for the first time. The signage makes it very easy to know where to go, and the friendly faces in the parking lot are very comforting.

I'm so glad we found a home here. If you are new to the area or are interested at all in trying church, this is the place to go.

Was incredible to get to worship with Rise this Sunday. Very intentional volunteers and welcome team. Our kids came home with a memory verse, and our teen was captivated for the entire sermon. Left feeling challenged and encouraged.

I have been a part of a lot of churches, but none like this one. RISE Church is something special. We have an amazing staff and pastoral leadership and excellence all across the board. This is a place where people feel welcomed and excited to be apart of. It's full of energy and excitement for what God is doing in San Antonio.

I had been looking for a church to attend and came across Rise Church. My friend and I went together for the first time and everyone was so welcoming! I’ve now been coming here for about a year now and have made very sweet friends! I have attended a women’s group and it was amazing to hear others stories and know you’re not alone. I love this church. The pastor is great at delivering messages to adults and adolescents, my son loves to sit up front and listen to the message with me. Very positive and inspiring words!

It was my first time visiting today and I am glad that I joined! I immediately felt welcomed and appreciated by Pastor Aaron and his wife, Erica, and the entire staff was very inviting and informative.

What drew me in the most was Pastor Aaron’s “What I Wish You Knew About God” series. As someone who is trying to get reacquainted with her faith, this provided me with a lot of answers to questions I have been asking myself. His delivery was filled with messages that I can interpret and apply to my personal journey; it really gave me the confidence and comfort I need moving forward.

It was a very intimate environment and I enjoyed the music, the people, and most of all, the lessons I learned today from the whole experience.

Great atmosphere, excellent teaching, inviting people. Small church feel with 3 services and even have an online presence if you can’t make it on Sunday.

This is a wonderful small church community. The praise and worship team is so talented. The staff and volunteers go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is relaxed and the worship is Awesome. The heart of the pastor is genuine and his teachings are great. This church feels more like Family and all are welcome.

Our family loves this church. We have been going since the first year they opened and have decided to make it our home for our spiritual family. The message each Sunday is powerful, encouraging, lifting, and always true to the Bible. We love how the church chooses to rise God/Jesus/Holy Spirit above everyone else.

I love Rise! From the moment you walk in you will be welcomed by some of the most loving, spiritual people. We have great leadership under both Pastor Aaron and Pastor Jason. If you are looking to grow your faith and be filled with the Holy Spirit, please come worship with us. I love my church and I love my spiritual family.

This is home. My family and I visited many churches in our area looking for a church home, and a connection. We found it here. One of the values that is spoken is spiritual family, and the Rise church family takes it seriously and displays this value In everything they do. Pastor Aaron and Pastor Jason are incredible leaders with integrity, and hold me accountable. If you’re looking for a place to not only attend, but GROW, I would definitely recommend checking Rise Church out!!!

Love this Church! Love the people who are part of this Ministry! I have been helping in the ministry for for only a few months. To be honest this church has found a place in my heart because I feel like I can serve and help without pressure. The leaders have done a wonderful job making all of us who help feel loved and like family. To me that is worth so much. I pray God continues to bless this ministry as much as or even more than it has blessed me.

This church is such a blessing not only to myself but my family as well. The environment is so welcoming. Pastor Aaron always preaches the message and it always hits home. This place is what you truly call SPIRITUAL FAMILY. I’m so excited to be a part of this church and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

We love it here. We have been a part of the church for about 8 months now and would change anything. The atmosphere is fantastic, the people are so friendly and sincere. The Pastors and staff are great. Very welcoming feeling as soon as you walk in the door🙏🏻

It felt like home even before I walked inside. I love all the signs that they have directing you to their location. I love the parking assistants they have to guide you on where to park. I was greeted several times on my way inside and more once I walked thro6the door. Since it was my first time several weeks ago, someone assisted me on how to sign my kids up for class. I love how organized the children drop off and pick up was. I just so happened to attend at the begining of a new series called "who am I" which was absolutely great and on point. Just what I needed to hear. Worship is awesome. I love that they actually put prayer requests on the screen so the whole church can pray. Tithes and offering are taken at the end of service which is different from what I was used to but I actually likes the order they have things. The whole flow of service was just amazing and smooth. Key points and verses are on the screen to take notes (which I always do).
The teaching is practical and reasonable which makes it easy to understand and apply. I love how Pastor Aaron doesn't sugar coat things because we know the Word of God hurts sometimes bc we have to be honest and truly reflect on ourselves. I received a first time guest bag which I loved, its those extra touches and time they put into everything that makes it even more special. I did lose the card that I was supposed to bring back for a free gift but it's all good. I didn't go for gifts, I came to get plugged in and have my spirit fed. My 2 boys and I have already been 3 times and it feels like home. I'm so glad I was able to find this church (they have banners everywhere) I love that my boys are getting plugged in again and being taught the Word of God with other kids their age. I mean all around, this church is awesome.

Rise Church has been our home for 6 months now and I am so thankful for the leadership and direction of the church. Pastor Aaron gives clear messages that are easy to understand and get something from. The values embodies the spirit of Christ and it is great to be a part of such a life giving church. Thank you!

I tend to Google just about everything when I try to find new places to visit. I am glad that I attended my first service today. The service/message was relevant. The church family were truly kind to each other. I can’t wait to see where God leads me to while I continue being a part of new congregation I found.

I visited the church a few times when they had a movie. I decided to give it a chance listening to the preaching. I have no regrets I really connected very well with the preacher. A must for anyone looking for a church I feel a big connection.

Like a family and we love them. Please give this awesome church a chance and you will feel the spirit!

Talk about Spiritual Family!!! The Pastors are beyond compare and the congregation is like a family. We truly enjoy being a part of something this grand. Can not wait to see the next chapter here at Rise. Come check it out!
