I arrived for my appointment at 8am and the ladies started on my hair promptly and I must say I absolutely love my braids. In all the years of getting my hair braided this is fastest shop around. I definitely will be returning.

06/17/2016 I say this is the baddest hair shop in Dallas! Ive been coming to this shop for two years and nothing but Five stars, positive attitudes and friendly ppl! five months after the do folks were still paying compliments. okay, so hands down she is the bomb!!!!!!

This was an interested experience. My appt. was at 7am. I get there at 6:45 and there is another client waiting to be seen as well. 7am comes and goes and no stylists show up. I text the number provided to let someone know I am here but no one responded. No one arrived until 7:45am, which at that point it was already 4 clients waiting. The person woman that arrived was taken care of first and then the rest of us had to wait another 15 minutes for two more stylists to show up. The stylists were dressed in sweatpants, flipflops and tennis shoes. There was no professionalism there what so ever. All of the stylists just talked amongst each other in french while doing the clients' hair. They did not take the time to get to know their clients, they didn't even know our names or cared to ask! Anybody that came in was greeted with a simple "what are you here for"? They ordered food for themselves and didn't even care to offer us water or anything. Every client that came in had to wait at least 35 minutes to even get started. The icing on the cake was when a girl from the office came around with a clip board and tried to collect payment when the stylists' weren't even halfway done with our hair!! There were no apologies for being late, no discounts or incentives to come back. The only thing that keeps this from being a one star review was the fact that the style was nice looking, but it took 8.5 hours to finish a style, even with two people working at once, due to the excessive talking and playing around they were doing, I'm writing this review on behalf of all the clients that were there that day because we all felt the same way. Would definitely NOT be returning.

Extremely Unprofessional!

I set an appointment for my daughters over a week ago. I get a message the morning of stating she needed to push back the appointment and would only possible able to complete one of my girls hair. I was okay moving the appointment but needed both kids hai done same day, as this was a drive from where we live. She stated she would be able to complete both girls and my appointment was for 11.

My appointment was moved from 10:00 to 11:00, I arrived ten minutes before my appointment to a closed location. I received a message at 11 stating she was on the way and would be there soon.

I messaged her at 11:30 asking for her ETA, I sat and waited until 12:00 before leaving - I then got a text at 12:18 saying she was almost there. At this point I have found another place to take them last minute but now I’m a crunch as we have plans - and why I mad an APPOINTMENT!

WOW!! I have two disappointed kids and wasted an entire morning and gas. This is not was i expected from a business at all.

She was over an hour late, which was not a good thing. I thought she would have given me a discount, being that I sat and waited over an hour late. Well, no discount. I tried her again and again she was late. Then, I left in the middle of doing my braids to pick up her child. So I waited another 45 min. My braids were horrible and looked like someone chewed them up. I told her once I was able to get home and examine them. She could care less. Never went back and I advise you not to either.

Horrible, will never get my hair done here again. So unprofessional, and they ran out of material to do my hair properly, there was yelling, and a woman doing my hair while eating and they’re pricey for the type of service you get. My hair didn’t last longer than a month (ridiculous) and I paid $180 to have it done. I decided to give them a second chance and that experience was worse than the first and so was my hair. Nanou Salon is CANCELLED for me.!

Not happy!! Before my appointment i sent pictures of the type of crochet braids that i wanted and after getting my hair braided to prepare for the crochet braids the stylist comes over and says that they dont have the type of equipment to do the crochets that i requested. As if they could not tell me before starting that braiding! Very bad customer service!

It’s always one nasty person to ruin your experience. I went there LESS THAN A WEEK AGO and the girls that did my hair was so kind. Yesterday I felt pain and come to find out my braid was coming out. Even though it’s one braid I didn’t know what to do so I called the next morning to see if I can get it fix in the middle of the week since I had an important engagement. Not only did the woman I spoke to didn’t want to help me she talk to me like trash. I spent good money so I expected help. It’s a shame because the girls that actually did my hair was so kind. It’s always one person who is IN CHARGE to ruin it for you. Never again.
