I took my husband here for his birthday. It was our first time here. The people were very friendly and helpful. The person who took our order noticed as son as we walked in we had the wrong menu, and stepped out to help us. Then waited patiently for our order. We ordered a sausage omelette and cream chowder soup, a sweet tea and mocha coffee with extra shot of espresso. The service was excellent. I will definitely go back.

I recently tried the mini tarts from La Madeleine, and they were absolutely divine! The flavors I chose were the lemon tart, fresh fruit tart, and chocolate tart. Each bite was a burst of delightful goodness, with a perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. The pastry was flaky, and the fillings were rich and flavorful. La Madeleine's mini tarts are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. I highly recommend this place for its delicious treats and excellent service.

Their bakery section is absolutely amazing! They are so delightful and the cake is incredibly tender. Not too sweet either with a wonderful texture. The environment is perfect for afternoon tea or lunch or even breakfast. Great staff! It's a favorite place to frequent with my mom.

I was gifted a free cookie for being apart of the rewards/membership program and I decided to try the raspberry linzer cookie.
Absolutely incredible 10/10. And it’s huge!

This is honestly my childhood La Madeleine, so I might be bias, but this place has been consistent for YEARS. The food, the coffee, everything has been solid and delicious every time. I always get a Mocha Latte when I come here and it's always sooo beautiful/pretty looking, I'm afraid to ruin it, but it's absolutely delicious every time. I'm a huge Chicken Friand eater too, so I get it every single time, and almost always, it's perfectly crispy/flaky.
The service here is great, everyone is super nice and they clean up tables rather quickly so there's always a place to sit.
Love coming here and definitely recommend that you do too! (:

Nice and consistent restaurant location serving mainly breakfast and other meals. Location is great, with parking available. Price is reasonable. What I love most is the freshness and consistency of the taste. Tastes homemade.

UPDATE on 8/1/2020: La Madeleine has made great effort to help protect its customers during this time of COVID-19. Their employees wear masks; there is a plexiglass on their front counters; and tables are strategically placed to allow social distancing between customers. It’s good to be back enjoying delicious meals and great service.

A newly-renovated La Madeleine that offers delicious meals, nice seating, and a faster WiFi. Dining room has a more pleasant layout. I love the freshly-prepared salad. The cream of mushroom soup and Provençal (vegetable) soup are very good. The beverage stations are in the dining area so you can refill anytime. They provide sliced bread along with butter and jelly free with your meal. When your order needs to be cooked, it gets delivered to your table in no time. There is a dedicated dining room attendant who makes sure tables are cleared quickly. Get the La Madeleine app for rewards and for mobile order. Ample parking around the restaurant. Located in the same mall as shops like Marshalls, HomeGoods, Ross, etc. and is just right across from the First Colony Mall.

My girlfriend and I were there for lunch, staff was wonderful food was great, always a good experience here.

Great place to come for soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastries. The four cheese grilled cheese sandwich was good but the Tomato Basil soup was what made it 👌

Been going here for almost 10 years. Everytime we visit people are friendly, and the food is delicious and quick to be delivered. Definitely in my top 3 favorite food places

Very nice of the manager to light the fire place. Fresh bread aas requested. And don't forget a to buy a jar of the tomato basil soup. Oh and get a 🏜 too.

I don’t usually like chains or mushrooms, but the Chicken La Madeleine entree has won me over. The mushroom sauce is just too good! And the sides are such comfort foods! I like to order off the app and pick it up in store. And the service is good!

Like other La Madeleine locations I've been to, service here is typically friendly. Chicken La Madeleine is my usual choice, but I've had a couple of other meals here from full size entrees to sandwiches and soups, and almost always enjoyed them. For delicious healthy food, I will completely recommend.

Update -- the manager called within an hour of my leaving a review, and he offered to make good on the mistake. We love the food and we look forward to enjoying the missing croissants on our next visit.

Original review -- My wife and I love the La Madeleine Chicken Caesar salads, and we often get the salads and some croissants to take home. Yesterday I ordered the salads and some assorted croissants at the To Go counter, but when I arrived home (40 miles away) I found that the bag contained two plain croissants although the receipt confirmed that I'd paid for four. In the future I guess I'll have to go through the bag and boxes before I leave the store to confirm that I have all of my order.
