The Guillebeau House

This cabin is such an amazing rustic experience with modern amenities (Glamping?) I wish to come back in the fall/winter to use the fireplace. Such a historical building that is oozing with character about the story of the home.

Things we learned:

1) Linens are provided but I recommend bringing your own bed sheets because the park's are a little scratchy

2) Bring a sharp knife for cooking, all the other cooking essentials and dishes are well provided. They also provide dish soap.

3) They provide a coffee pot/coffee/filters 😀

4) The AC does keep the house nice and cool during the blazing summer heat.

5) The twin beds are upstairs and that area is a little musty.

Enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back again.

I love staying here each and every time. It is so quiet. You get to see the birds, deer, squirrels and all other wildlife. So if you do not like the country and what comes with it such as flies, spiders, snakes, and other creepy crawly critters dont go. Your best bet would be to rent a hotel in the city. As for you true country and wildlife lovers here is the place to stay. The smell of the real wood in the house is phenomenal. You can hear everything at night. It is an absolute real, step back in time. Have a romantic dinner by the firepit or infront of the fireplace. Dance on the large screened in porch. This place reminds me of my grandparents. It just feels like home.

Always clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the whole group. We could have used some trash bags and the fridge was a little bit warm but not unusuable. We'll defienetly be back next year!

It was like stepping into the past with all the modern amenities. I cooked a steak over an open fire one night. Then had the kitchen and equipment to make a refined meal the next. Loved it!

Beautiful. I didn't realize it was two stories but it's very cool. Our kids thought it was old and haunted. Lol. The screened in front porch was fabulous.

It has so much history in this house.

Beautiful house and awesome history

Great history in the house. Alot of spider webs in the house and the doors are tricky to where you can actually get locked in the house. If you don't mind the 2 issues then it was a great experience.
