Holy cow what a little gem. Great friendly service, good food, fast, good portion for price. Bonus salsa bar!!! The mango Chile salsa was delicious (a little spicy fyi :) ). We both got burritos. We were just passing through but we will be back!! I don’t know how this place doesn’t have a higher rating for real.

Had a great dinner here. Seems to be family owned and operated with very welcoming staff. Chori Queso was some of the best I’ve had. Nightly happy hour specials, I got the $4.50 blue margarita. Will be back.

We are always pleased with the great selection of dishes, the freshness of all ingredients and the fantastic service. And the slightly spicy mango salsa is a great add on.

You will not be disappointed!

Service and food was wonderful... It was a little cluttered and the salsa bar was not great, only 6 choices ( all hot ) ours at home have 18 with mild and sweet choices...

I was seated quickly. The chips was fresh and warm. Food was delicious, especially the tamales. Service was great, server was there whenever I needed a refill or had questions. I had a pleasant experience, and will return if I'm ever in the area again. Really cool looking booths as well.

This place has been a family favorite since I was a child. The only thing off the last time I went was how slow the service was. Other than that they were very friendly food was hot and filling with lots of left overs.

This was our first time coming here. We were out riding with some friends who come here often. The portions are HUGE seriously huge. You definitely get your money's worth. The prices are fantastic and the menu is extensive. The people were really friendly and service was excellent. For people who ride motorcycles or love a nice drive. This is a great ride to get to the restaurant. Especially if you're coming from Marion or that direction. We will definitely be back. We got our kids some food to go. They loved it and have asked several times when we can go. Can't go wrong here. They've got anything you can think of including vegetarian menus etc.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with Mexican music playing and friendly service. The food was delicious but the Taco salad needed MORE salad. There is a vegetarian menu. Lunch specials from 11am-3pm.

Great food...lots of food! They also have a salsa bar. The decor is comfortable and the staff work hard to keep the customers happy. This is definitely one of the more popular restaurants in Mitchell County. Good selection of alcoholic beverages as well.

Absolutely fantastic experience at this Mexican restaurant. We were greeted at the door with a smile and were immediately seated with menus and a clean table. After another minute or so fresh warm chips and salsa were delivered to our table before our order was taken. We came down here after a terrible experience at Hefs down the street. Please try El ranchero they will not disappoint. Food was good as well but the service was absolutely stellar and the place was nice and clean

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Food and staff consistently great. Laid-back family atmosphere, easy parking in charming downtown Spruce Pine.

Ate here with my niece & Husband and it was so good got a massive burrito their queso is great . We will definitely be back again soon .

The chips and salsa were absolutely incredible. They like their pineapples too. If you order something with pineapple, expect some big heart chunks of it. Delicious! Or if you are allergic to pineapples, be SURE to let them know.
