Holiday Inn Resort Lumina on Wrightsville Beach, an IHG Hotel

Wow my family and I absolutely felt as if wwe were on paradise island. Everywhere we went and looked it was breathtaking. The people are so kind and always willing to help. This beach is now our top destination spot for vacation. We’ve always went to pine knoll shores. But wow the was here is so clear and blue. A gem. Thank you for your hospitality and generosity. See yaw this summer.

Love this hotel! We've stayed there twice, once in summer in a suite, and once in winter in a regular room. Both times were a great experience! The facilities are kept up well, rooms are clean and comfortable, views are gorgeous, and they really mean it when they say their hotels are kid friendly! Kids eat free in the hotel restaurant and the food was really good. All the employees were so nice and helpful. They met us at the door to help with our bags and were so sweet with my kids. I would absolutely stay here again and again!

Probably the nicest place I've ever stayed. As soon as you walk in the view is amazing and the lady at the front desk was probably the most friendly person I ran into and my two week vacation. Can't wait to come back next year the views are just unbelievable

Beautiful, clean, relaxing amazing place! We came here for just one night for my wife’s 43rd birthday just to get away and have a different vibe from Jacksonville, NC with the ocean front view! People are so nice here and it’s all remodeled! I would 100% come back and we already recommend this to our buddies in Jacksonville and our friends and family in Michigan! Great job to the place as a whole and to the amazing STAFF MEMBERS! JOB WELL DONE! No matter what, BE KIND, GIVE BACK, PAY IT FORWARD AND ALWAYS DO A RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS!

Think this is our fourth trip to this hotel. The location is awesome. We were greeted at check in by Aura. She was patient and explained all the things going on around the hotel for the Azalea Festival. She is great at her job and took a lot of time making sure we were prepared for our spring break vacation. We have pretty good status with IHG and she put us in a great room. Thank you Aura for treating us so awesome. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant Solstice the first night and got Jack on his final night of training, He and his trainer Allison were top notch. Samatha at the bar made a great Old fashioned. We try to stay her anytime we can, the location is perfect, staff is awesome and room was great. thanks for making this trip as great as all the others.

An absolutely fantastic experience for a place that did so much more than expected. Great people, great views of the ocean, perfectly easy access to the beach.

there's very few hotels that I go to where I stay to myself, "I'm definitely coming back here." Diamond in the rough.

Easy parking, great rooms, great lobby, great views, what more could you ask for? Deck and pools are great too. Didn't try the restaurant or bar, a quick look at the menu with $9 cans of beer steered me away from that, unfortunately. But highly recommend the hotel for its location, views, and rooms.

Just spent the weekend there and had a wonderful time. Our room was really nice and had a great view. Loved all the amenities. The indoor pool was nice and warm. Also Loved all the updates. My only complaint would be the prices for meals in the restaurant. They were a big high for the quality.

We really enjoyed our stay at the lumina on Wrightsville Beach Holiday Inn Resort! Previously we have always stayed there but when rates increased we had to go to Myrtle Beach for one year. Now the rates are doable for our budget!!! Great job management!!! The upgrades have proven to be a very enjoyable elegant change! We appreciate the suites especially room 552 having another bathroom to go to! Great job guys! The bedroom is a little dark for me it used to have a standing lamp near the TV there is none there so the two lights in the room do not light up the room as much as I would like in the bedroom. That is the only complaint I have and that's not really a complaint because we are looking forward to coming back next year. The room is also very clean!!! Shining stars go to Jerome in dining, Tammy, Sarah, Kara and Lauren who made us feel so welcomed back!! They remembered us immediately and held long conversations with us which is very rare when you return to the same location for some hotels!! They actually made our vacation stay awesome! Please commend these individuals who are long-term employees for Holiday Inn resort! They are definitely keepers!

Amazing stay at the Lumina. It's end of November and perfect weather for coffee and Jacuzzi!! Front desk folks are so sweet and accommodating. Beach is GORGEOUS, sunrise and sunset are the best views for long wide views of expansive ocean and pelicans.
The Sun provides a light show in pinks and reds and yellows that are just breathtaking. And all from the hotel Beach property.
Food has been excellent. I love the fried oysters, shrimp tacos, and the salads. But the peach butter is to die for.

Beautiful resort! Clean and well appointed rooms, easy to find, excellent staff. Pools and hot tub were clean and well maintained, enjoyed sitting in the sun on the pool deck, and easy beach access. Stunning view of the ocean from our 3rd floor room. Breakfast buffet was a little expensive but the food was great, especially the made to order omelettes! My husband works remotely, the in room desk was adequate but would have preferred a more desk appropriate chair.

Amazing All Around. This hotel is superb and I'm dead serious. Gorgeous views on the inside and outside. We got an oceanfront room and I just have to say you wouldn't be disappointed. Lobby, restaurant, rooms are beautiful!!

My family and I had an amazing time!! Clean, friendly, and food was great. Kids ate dinner free at one of the onsite restaurants. Definitely will return!

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Get the Ocean View room and have an amazing view for your stay. Hotel opens up to a pool area and direct access to the beach for long walks. Tons of area restaurants to explore. We came in the off season, so it was quiet and relaxing. We will be back.

Hands down one of the best hotels that we have stayed in for some time. It was off season mind you. So…not all restaurants were open and tourist season not at its peak. But staff was on point. Sunset room was great. Cannot say enough good things.

Very nice hotel with beautiful views of the ocean. There are nice indoor and outdoor pools, an outdoor hot tub, and what looks like a kids pool.
The food at the restaurant is pretty good, but a little pricey. On the plus side kids eat free!

I had a wonderful experience Tyler kersey at the front desk was amazing I haven't felt customer service like that in a very long time humanity still exists I will definitely recommend and the resort is beautiful can't wait til morning to see all it has to offer

Had a very nice stay. Rooms were very clean with great ocean view. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was great. Had dinner one night and average . Breakfast was a buffet , would be nice if you could select like toast only instead of whole buffet. Coffee shop did have a few pastries if you wanted. . Would not hesitate to stay there again

I had a positive and very welcoming experience at the resort with Shane Palmer and Alex Fulcher. Both gentlemen were very personable and friendly. Shane was very accommodating while using the shuttle service. I look forward to my next visit!!

Stop on by for breakfast and watch sunrise. Theresa is fantastic server, personable, experienced and efficient. We had Sunday Buffet and enjoyed the beach view. Fresh fruit, cereal, made omelets, bacon, sausage, bagels, biscuits, potatoes, grits, etc. highly recommend
