Nothing in there is overpriced, in fact everything is a great deal. Saw a post from a year ago ranting about the guy that’s over it and all of that is incorrect, he’s a very good guy from what I know in fact I was in there some time ago and he asked me to help him move something I did n not expecting anything he let me get a hoody or something. Which was really cool and helpful being at that time I didn’t have a job.
Everyone in there are great, friendly and helpful people and they are doing great serving a great cause. I’ll maintain to drop in a couple times a week.

Love the prices, clean store, great staff! Doing everything they can during this pandemic following safety guidelines and orders! Love shopping here, been shopping here since I was little! Even before the pandemic they care a lot about their costumers. Absolutely love the staff, and prices. Good store!

We've only been here a little over a year, but Spruce Pine and Safe Place feel truly like home now. When I walk into Safe Place I'm always made to feel welcome. Even if I'm "just browsing"... some little jewel will catch my eye! Especially things for my 2 little grandchildren. Thank you, Safe Place Caretakers!

Best thriftstore in western North Carolina. Very friendly, many usable items priced right. I always find a treasure to take home. Great selection of current books 📚.

This is the BEST Store I have ever shopped at. They had everything I needed and at a Super Deal. A Courteous Staff and everything was easy to find.

Excellent prices and selection!! The staff really makes you feel like family and the proceeds go to local women's shelter. It's a win win experience.
