Lowes Foods of Chapel Hill

Lowes Foods has been impressive. Samples around the store, cafe/ pub is a hidden gem. $1 mimosas on Sundays and coffee drinks are on par with the expensive alternatives. I’d gladly get a latte from Lowes over some of the chains. Bakery is always fantastic. Diana, the cake decorator, hand piped some lovely Minecraft cupcakes for a birthday and kids were super impressed.

We were in a crunch for Sunday dinner. And the deli came through with no issues for some delicious fried chicken, kinda large order. No issues and with a smile!!! 10/10 recommend Lowes Fried Chicken!🙂

5 Stars for Dianna who helped me verify the price of a bag of peanuts which had a sign by it saying $1.99. She understood my concern to have the price scanned before checking out and though occupied stocking shelves, she helped to find out the actual price was about $3.50. I run into this problem at Lowes rather often. Thank You Dianna :)

Stopped in for an afternoon beer at "The Beer Den". Good beers in a relaxed atmosphere. Butch the bartender/barista had all aspects of the bar covered and had wonderful customer service!

This supermarket is a jewel tucked away in Chatham County not far from Briar Chapel. Customer service is good. Produce is fresh, with quite a few Organics. A well stocked, clean supermarket.
Parking is good. Situated in a quiet strip mall.

Nice store - has what I need to survive. Clean and organized, cheese lady was helpful.

Great customer service and convenience! I drove all the way here from Durham in order to pick up a special ice cream flavor that was unavailable at other stores closer to me. After calling around to several places, this location informed me that they had my item and were happy to set it aside for pickup. After making my way to the store, checkout was easy and the ice cream was mine! Would definitely recommend their grocery pickup service to anyone, anytime.

As I said before, and I don't mind saying it again 😁. Lowes Food has stepped up their game, especially when it comes to their produce and wine selections. Their wine section has a larger variety to chose from, attempting to match your mood. From a cozy little dinner for two (A Chardonnay). Or you're entertaining clients for a job deal (A Chablis). But, the actual reason that I go to Lowes, is for their "Sushi" 😋😋, which is made fresh daily, and time stamped. I would like to mention, that all Lowes Food does not serve Sushi.

Nice clean place with a good variety of fresh veggies and wines.

i am not from the area and i was INCREDIBLY impressed by this store. i couldn't believe how many local options there were and how fresh the produce was! the staff were so friendly and readily available. i also love the rewards system and discounts that come with that, as the food can be a little on the pricier side. but honestly it felt worth it to me to support this store! i also loved the little fresh herb garden where you could cut your own herbs and the fresh bakery section (treated myself to some giant delicious muffins!). the historic table in the store was super interesting to me, i'd love to attend some of the small events they host there!

long story short this place was wonderful -- i just chose it because it was closest to where i'm staying and i was NOT disappointed! i will be returning (:

Man, has Lowes Foods really up it's game. I want to come back when I have a bit more time and energy . Friendly service.

Update: still 5 stars, but I wanted to add service is awesome here. I left a couple of items in the cart (CHECK YOUR CART) and the manager let me replace them (w/my receipt).

We bought Tres leches cake was so moist and delicious the dipped chocolate strawberries very juivcy. It's a little pricey. You need to get the reward card.
This beautiful plant was a gift from my husband from there too. Nice selection of plants and flower too.

Wonderful associates, so friendly and helpful-this BEER DEN concept is phenomenal with Wed specials, Thurs specials, Fri and Sat specials —1/2 price drafts on !Wednesdays! What?

Awesome experience! They have 250 local vendors and showing support for our community, they have cake wizards and a fabulous deli!😍

This is the best grocery store. It's got the nice brands like a Harris Teeter with lower prices. It's also a local grocery with more local produce than a big chain like Harris Teeter. The low aisles feel way less claustrophobic. Their fried chicken is the best fried chicken you can buy. I have had more luck finding uncommon items at Lowe's Foods over other grocery stores in the area. I also think the employees are more friendly. We moved 15 minutes further away from this store but I drive past three other grocery stores to shop at Lowe's Foods.
