I’ve eaten bread from pretty much every serious local bakery. Their multigrain bread may well be the ideal loaf. It’s truly a work of art in terms of texture and taste. It’s also undeniably simple. It’s rare to find a perfect staple food, and this is it.

New to Pittsboro. I found this bread at the coop in Pittsboro and it’s by far the best bread I have had in many years. A hidden gem. My husband is from Germany and asking every day when I’m getting another loaf. I will be buying every week and spreading the word.

Most breads fade into the background of whatever has flavor in between the slices. Chicken bridge bakery bread refuses to be pushed back there. Their bread is bursting with flavor, texture, yeah even nutrition. I’ve tried a couple of kinds of their sourdough breads and now their multi grain sprouted wheat… There’s just no hope in finding a dud.

Their bread is truly amazing. We buy their farmhouse sourdough every weekend to make a rustic french toast. Highly recommend trying their breads!!!
