Play It Again Sports

I cannot stress enough the fantastic customer service from Play It Again Sports.
I went in bright and early on Saturday morning to find a small home exercise bike and was greeted by Jim Zachry.
He was so cheerful, helpful, and willing if to listen to my needs even though they were busy and setting up for the day.
He took very good care of me and was delightful to work with.
It ONLY gets better…
I got it home Saturday and located where I wanted it and didn’t really ride it as I had in the store and didn’t ride it on Sunday.
Monday morning I attempted to ride early and had concern about a noise I heard as I was pedaling. I sent him a video of the noise and he promptly calls me and says “that’s not right, and we will get you a new machine delivered”. YES, DELIVERED!!!! After they assembled it and tested it!!
I thanked him and within the same day they are being me a new bike. By 2pm…:THE SAME DAY!!!
In just a matter of hours. WOWSA!!!
That doesn’t happen anymore, NEVER!!!

I am blown away by the customer service and the cheerfulness that comes with it.

Leave the competitors alone and all the Big Box stores and run to Play It Again Sports
I absolutely have never seen this level of customer service.

There's lots of things to look at and a huge variety of sports equipment. The employees were very helpful and service was fast and friendly.

Used to shop here regularly when my sons were young and in all sports - buying and selling. Recently had an expensive item that I kept too long and was unable to return. Took it to Play It Again Sports. Instead of taking advantage of the situation, Evan suggested that I contact the seller and plead by case. So instead of getting 1/3 of my money back on this new, unopened piece of equipment, I got all my money back saving me a few hundred dollars. That is integrity. Thank you Play It Again Sports Wilmington. Also carried the item back to my car!

Wonderful people here. My wife went to find my daughter a softball glove and cleats. Now this is the first year our daughter will be playing sports and we know very little about softball. Corey is the associate that helped her and did a wonderful job in explaining the different gloves and fit. And they put the items on hold for us till the next day. Great prices too. We will definitely be coming back for all our sports needs.

From my first call, to the friendly, experienced help at the store, to the delivery and set up of my equipment, Play It Again Sports was amazing. If you are looking for any kind of sporting equipment check out Play it Again Sports before you over play for uninformed and often lousy service. Obviously I’m a very happy customer!

Picked up a set of weights for my granddaughter. They had a good selection and at a good price.

I had the absolute best experience at Play It Again Sports!! I walked in 10 minutes before closing like an a-hole looking for used Tennis Balls and everyone was so quick to help and support what I needed. Then at check-out I realized I forgot my wallet like an even bigger a-hole and once again everyone had a great attitude and did everything they could to accommodate me. I love this place and will go here first from now on with any sport related needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Very helpful staff. Didn't try to up-sale me but instead helped me find the best deal.

Great golf department. Especially for Juniors. Supports the Wilmington Junior Golf Academy which teaches at risk kids for free.

Gray is the man. This place is great for finding quality goods at reasonable prices. Customer service is exceptional. Ask for Gray and Charles when you go!

We were in the market for a treadmill and did not want to pay an arm and a leg for a brand new one so stopped by Play It Again Sports to see what they had. Not only did I find a great fairly new/barely used treadmill for a great price but was grateful for the home delivery and set up option. Nick and Evan showed up and was very respectful and courteous with calling ahead and with delivering and setup which was up a flight of tricky stairs. I highly recommend this store and their awesome service!

my husband and i inherited an electric bike and were directed to play it again to go over some options on how to sell it. Evan was very helpful and friendly! he was able to match the a previous offer we had gotten earlier that day. i highly recommend taking your sports equipment here. very pleased! thank you Evan!!

I just went into the Play it Again Sports in Wilmington NC to purchase a stationary exercise bike. I walked to the counter where you have 3 associates playing on the computer looking up bat prices. I stood at the counter for about 4 minutes and not one time did any of the 3 ask if they could help me. I finally spoke up and said this place has no customer service and then they wanted to help. Poor excuse for customer service in this location. I will go spend my money where it is welcomed. The owner should be ashamed at how this business is operated.

I decided to give this location a 2nd chance and was amazed at the difference in customer service. I first spoke with the Assistant Manager and told him what I was looking for and he told me that he had a new in the box stationary bike that I was looking for. I called back a short time later and spoke to the Store Manage (Jim) and told him that I found the same bike at a big box store that was cheaper. He told me that he would do a price match so I told him that I would pick it up later in the afternoon. I arrived at 5pm and was greeted as I walked into the store. I ask to speak to Jim and he came out and showed me the bike. I purchased it and was thanked several times for coming back. A great ending to what started off as a bad experience. I would not hesitate to go back.

I purchased a treadmill after mine stopped working. Steve helped me pick the right machine - He was very knowledgeable and helpful in making a decision. It was a great deal, and the machine has been great thus far. They were nice enough to let me leave my old machine by their dumpster, and they loaded the new machine into my truck. This was not my first good experience with this PIAS location.

I would most surely recommend Play it Again Sports. I went in to look for a treadmill. I was very nicely greeted when I walked in. Evan Frank helped me and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable. I felt confident to purchase a treadmill there after discussing it with him. I had it delivered to my home. They were very careful in the delivery and set it up for me perfectly. Great experience!

Evan and his staff were courteous and very helpful while I was visiting Play It Again! There is always new equipment to look at. Found a great golf club I had been looking for. Great store!!

Jim and Evan are great fellas. Really good people. No comparison as far as prices you don’t need to buy new - stuff is in great condition. Always great.
