All I kept saying was “this is amazing” every time I took a bite of my shrimp and grits!! Husband and I took a trip here to have some breakfast and it surely did not disappoint. Hands down best shrimp and grits I’ve had in Wilmington! Husband is a big coffee critic and was very pleased with the coffee they served here! 10/10 would recommend

Absolutely amazing breakfast! Every morsel of food, from the main dishes to the sides and bread, were delicious! The sausages were the size of hamburger patties and perfectly seasoned and tender. The skillet potatoes were the tastiest potato item I have ever had. Corn beef has skillet was incredible. The lobster and bacon omelet special was incredible. The homemade biscuit, and the two other bread options were equally tasty.
They are open Wed-Sun 8am to 2pm. Make it a point to get there. It is worth it.
They have custom cocktails as well!

Food was great. I loved the Red Eyed pulled pork hash. My wife had the dirty south biscuit. Our server Mason was fantastic. Good kid. I did enjoy my coffee with the extras in it. My wife also enjoyed the mamosa. The tables and interior are pretty cool. Just has this welcoming atmosphere.

Took my grown children and their other halves out for dinner and this was the first night this location was serving dinner. We did not know that until we were leaving but it did not show they were very prompt and professional! The food and the presentation of the food was amazing! We absolutely enjoyed ourselves and our meal and will definitely be back!! Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this place and the atmosphere was like a country kitchen so we felt comfortable and right at home and they also have a bar so you can get a nice drink with your meal!! We had the T-bone, Duck, Alfredo, and a few more items from the dinner menu and they were all perfect!!!

After seeing them on Triple D and knowing we had an upcoming dance competition in Wilmington we knew we had to go here. We're a family of breakfast food connoisseurs. I'd describe the atmosphere as down home. Like having breakfast on the front porch of a farmhouse. Food choices definitely match the decor. They're focus is on breakfast favorites. Staff are awesome n everybody seemed happy to be there even on the Sunday of St Patty's Day weekend. I tried the dirty south biscuit cuz why go to a Triple D recognized restaurant and just get boring eggs and bacon? This place was worth every dime. We'll go back next time we're in town.

We went there for diner. Fun atmosphere and great service by Ms Frankie! The Shrimp Grits was superb to any we have tasted on the EastCoast! The baby back ribs were delicious as well. Well worth the experience, we will be back to try their famous breakfast!

Went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning. We were seated right away and I think we missed the rush, as the place did fill up pretty quickly. Our waiter was great and the food came out relatively quickly. I forgot to take pictures until we were halfway through eating. The food was excellent. The pancakes are Huge! I had the smokey mountain Benedict which was a nice southern twist on traditional eggs Benedict.
I would definitely return.

Dropped in for breakfast. Quickly seated at a picnic table inside; nice eclectic decor. Ordered the maple icing muffin, dirty south biscuit, red eye pulled pork hash, and a meat/cheese omelette with grits. All the dishes were delicious.

Excellent biscuit, coffee, omelette. Service was wonderful and attentive. This is a family owned business and they take care of you so that you will want to come back. Parking lot can be full and you'll have to wait for a spot. They continuously refill your coffee.

Great atmosphere, phenomenal food. Full of flavors. Country home cooked meals, and no slack on the portions! Left overs for sure! The biscuit was perfect. Country ham was slightly salty, but it’s country ham! Partially expected.😊

This is the only place to go to for brunch in my opinion! My husband and I are both from Massachusetts and never in my life would I have told you that my favorite brunch item is fried chicken and waffles! This is THE ONLY place to go to brunch! My husband regularly will order the dirty south biscuit and we both are never disappointed! The service is always super quick, the mimosas are always the best and the wait staff are absolutely fantastic!

My favorite restaurant for breakfast. Always have an omelette and grits. Best biscuits anywhere.
When we are in Wilmington we schedule our day around Cast Iron Skillet.
Don’t pass this one up!

.. The best breakfast in eastern North Carolina. I

could pontificate on the chef, the flavors, the fresh ingredients, the farm to table aesthetic and incur edible customer service, or you can experience it for yourself.

If you don’t go when it opens or after 12pm, expect to wait at least an hour for a table.

But it’s worth the wait.

A real GEM! Featured on Guy Fieri’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives - for good reason! Phenomenal food, excellent service. I highly recommend their muffins for dessert. Do yourself a favor and go here!!!

Triple D for the deliciousness! Diners Drive ins and Dives and Guy Fieri loved the home style cooking here, so I wanted to check it out. When I saw red eyed gravy pulled pork hash, I looked no further! Food was great, wonderful atmosphere with 70 and 80 music playing and top notch service! Owner was so friendly and gracious as well I will definitely be back!
