Sundown Home & Office Window Tint, Blinds & Shades

We are extremely pleased with the service and product from Sundown. What a great difference it makes in cutting the glare and heat in our Western facing windows. The views are so much more crisper and brings the Blue Ridge into focus so much better. It used to be that if I held my hand about 2 feet from the windows in the afternoon, I could just feel the heat radiating but I now have to get to less than 6” and it’s no where near hot like it was. Wish I’d found Sundown several years ago after we moved here but am so glad it’s done now.

I had Sundown tint the west-facing windows of my home to reduce the intensity of the afternoon sunlight coming in as well as help reduce the heat. Upon contacting them, they promptly scheduled an in-home consultation and quote, explained the whole process clearly and got our installation scheduled in minutes. The install was quick and easy, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with.

We had our windows in our A-frame tinted up here in Burnsville and it made so much difference, fair price and great work! Would highly recommend! If they hadn’t finished so early in the day I would offered them a couple beers for how good of job they did!

They did a fantastic job tinting our primary bathroom's shower glass! It looks stylish & modern, plus the tint has made the extra-narrow opening (which caused us to constantly bump into the edge of the glass 😆) so much safer!

I was faced with a bit of an urgent situation that required film on various windows of my home in order to pass inspection due to the wind rating of the area. The Sundown team were very responsive and actively worked to find a solution to meet the need. They engaged with their vendors to provide the documentation the inspector required and we were able to move forward.

We used Sundown services 3 years ago to install window tinting to our first floor south facing windows. We were so pleased with the results ( no sun fading of furniture and a noticeable reduction in heat accumulation) we asked them to return. They covered all our south facing windows on the second floor plus install blinds in the master bathroom. They are a great company to work with and very professional.

We were thrilled with the job that Sundown did. First, they promptly returned phone calls. They set up our appointment in a timely fashion within a couple of weeks of when we requested having our windows tinted. They showed up exactly when they said they would. The guys worked professionally and efficiently and cleaned up completely when the job was finished. Most important, we noted an immediate difference after having the windows tinted. Our room was much cooler even with the morning sun coming through. We would highly recommend this company!

These guys were amazing. We called for a quote and they showed up at the appointed time unlike a few no-shows. We agreed on a scope of work and they did everything they committed to. Our window tinting project included a lot of multistory windows and working around highly finished spaces. No issues. Conrad did an excellent job coordinating the installation and when they were down the place was clean. Highly recommended.

We have numerous windows that required film placement to help control sun glare. There was a lot of detail work involved as we have many individual window panes. The job took 4 days. Conrad and his assistant showed up on time and paced their work in order for the job to be done on time. They did a wonderful job of cleaning after the job was finished. We even ordered blinds from them and those were installed on time as promised. Highly recommend!!

We could not be more pleased with our window tint! The windows along the top of our garage door let in so much afternoon sun and heat that it was unbearable. We now have a film/tint that reflects that sun and should reduce the heat a significant amount. Sundown is a class act! Everything was perfect from the communication through the installation process. We would highly recommend Sundown, hands down! Great product and great company!!!!

Great experience with Sundown at our property at Lake Lure. We were able to coordinate the estimates and work with their guys from states away. When we arrived at the home, we were very happy with the quality of the work and the value. Fair prices and great communication. If we need tinting again there, they will be our first call.

I had sun fading of my floor( from uv rays) coming through my full glass door. Tom was very helpful in picking the proper product to reduce my fading problem. Pricing was reasonable. Even though it was a small job, I was given good service. They scheduled the job quickly and were very quick and courteous with the install. I would definitely use them again or recommend to my family and friends.

Installer was on time, professional and efficient. The tint has cut down glare from the western sun, which shines through large windows directly on our wall-mounted thermostat. It is too soon to measure the difference in energy savings but I am confident it will lower our cost over time. Very satisfied and considering treating several other windows.

We had a sunroom in our vacation home that was baking in the sun, causing all the furniture and wood flooring to fade. Because of the limited time we had to visit that home, and our distance from Asheville, we had trouble making arrangements for other companies to meet with us to get an estimate. After several failed attempts to get an estimate from another company, we called Sundown. They were willing to have us measure the windows and give us a quotation based on that, so we handled everything by phone and e-mail & with mailed tinting film samples. We made arrangements to get them a key to install the tinting while we were gone. When we returned a couple of weeks later, we were delighted with the job. The tinting was perfectly installed & works as hoped.

We were so very pleased with their work. They arrived on time and the quality of their work is top notch. The tinting is almost non noticeable, and we can definitely tell that it keeps our house a bit cooler. I would highly recommend them.
