Sweet n Savory Cafe

Great basic breakfast food and good portions. Also good pricing. We got there about 20ish minutes before they opened and owner let us come in early instead of waiting. We got a mimosa and bloody Mary for drinks. Mimosa was fine, the bloody Mary was alright except they use cocktail sauce in the drink which we did not enjoy but we aren’t used to having them like that and if you do not like I would not get. For our meals we got the all American breakfast and one with the cinnamon raisin french toast which was good but was pretty greasy. Our server was the bartender and he was very laid back and nice.

Love to brunch here. Family friendly, cute and cozy restaurant/cafe. Eggs Benedict is incredible. Tons of options for everyone. Breakfast shots are delicious. Cinnamon rolls are huge and great for sharing with the table.

Starting to really love this place…great for social gatherings/conversations. I have recently tried….pancake hush puppies, tomatoe bisque soup, gyro and chicken salad melt on croissant and mini key lime pie! All delicious! Service is excellent. Sometimes a short wait. Will definitely return given opportunity!

Stepping into Sweet n' Savory Cafe is like finding a burst of color in a monochrome world - a funky little spot that’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate. The food was nothing short of amazing, with each dish showcasing a playful yet masterful blend of flavors. We had the scratch biscuits and gravy and the Chicken & WB toast bowl and can I just say.. DELICIOUS!!

Whew. This breakfast will forever be my favorite. Everything was perfectly prepared, fresh, and just like their name— savory! I wish I had the energy after this meal to give it the description it deserves but i need a nap. 🤣

Went with friends to this tucked away restaurant. The first thing you see upon entering is a display case full of deserts. Yum! I had one the 4 specials of the day which was Lamb T-Bone. It’s was really good with fresh asparagus as a side. I forgot to take a picture but it was served like a gourmet restaurant. We had a large party 10 and the service was great. Everyone was happy with their meal. 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was seated immediately. All staff from start to finish were super friendly and down to earth. Special thanks to Adrianna - she’s only been working here 2 weeks and is the perfect person to speak to how great the food is. My partner and I split a grilled cheese, fries, Mac and cheese, and one of the best tomato bisque soups I’ve ever had! We also had a key lime tart and a Carmel cheesecake square with some coffee. The coffee was very good - I take mine black and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. All and all a great place and at really decent prices for the size of what I got. We’ll be coming back!

Came back to Sweet and Savory. It has changed to the high end since last review. The menu had great variety of food. Our choices were over the top GREAT. We were greeted and seated by Blaine. A very pleasant way to start our dining experience. There is an excellent choice of beers, local and national drafts that are $2.99/pint. No where else in 3 counties has this price on this variety of beer. Its FANTASTIC. Nice list of interesting mixed drinks. The daily special choices were great. We ordered the carb cakes and half rack of ribs as our entrees. We were not disappointed. Homemade mashed potatoes and asparagus were served to perfection by Kristi. She is a friendly, competent server. The team that was on last night had their beans all in one can, seemed happy and delivered. Menu prices are very reasonable. Our bill before tip was 55.00!! Do not overlook S&S for deserts and treats. We got the salted Carmel brownies, they went well coffee this morning. Do yourself a favor and give Sweet and Savory a try. You will not be disappointed.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. The service was amazing. Friendly, attentative, and not too overbearing by any means. And the food was absolutely delicious! I was so full by the end of the meal, but I couldn't leave any leftovers! It was too good! We started with the crab dip, which was super yummy, but be warned, it's also fairly filling. It's quite dense, so make sure you have a few people to share it with. My friend had their strawberry jalapeño wings to start with, and I didn't expect those to be as good as they were! What a great flavor combination! The wings were crispy with just the right amount of sauce. And then for the main entrées, wow. Best shrimp n grits I've ever had. My friends were pleased with theirs too. Their bacon also perfectly light and crispy. I cannot wait for the day I return to Sweet n Savory!

Came from Ohio for a company party. Near by... the night before.
We Ended up having breakfast at this place! And I would drive the 11 hours again, to JUST come to this place! So delicious and a very unique menu! Portion sizes were also amazing!

I don’t know what took us so long to find this place. We LOVE it! We’re local to Wilmington and out of the tons of places we’ve tried this is our new favorite! Food, service, and atmosphere were all EXCEPTIONAL. The owner Rob stepped up to give us amazing service because he was short staffed, and they made an exception to seat us outside because of our dog. Seriously so impressed and grateful for the incredible experience tonight. We will be back for Wednesday wine night and Thursday live music. A big thank you to all the servers and hostess and owner. This is a great restaurant!

Awesome brunch spot! We fell in love (2 days in a row). We tried the pancake hushpuppies and were not disappointed. We had an overall awesome experience. The food was delicious and the portions were more than enough. I highly recommend that if you are traveling to the Wilmington area to stop in ... you will not be disappointed. The first day I had the biscuit and gravy add chicken while my partner had the Cajun Omelet ( he could not finish). Great Food!

This is a great place for a hearty breakfast to start your day. The food was delicious and the service was great.

We rode our scooters here on the cross-city trail and caught an amazing duo "Carolina Crush" singing on this fine Sunday evening! The crispy Brussels to start were amazing, but the Sesame Tuna and Seafood Fra Diavolo (the al dente noodles were definitely a huge bonus!!!) really put us in the most amazing food coma! It was so delicious we couldn't stop eating but glad we made the stop! This place has always been a favorite but I haven't been in a while. We will definitely be putting this into our very regular rotation for dinners! Adam took great care of us and anticipated when we needed a refill of water and fresh cracked pepper for our entree's! I will also throw in a bonus kudos that the waiting staff was super friendly while many other places have let us down from customer service but they are absolutely amazing!!!

Sweet n Savory Cafe is the best restaurant in the area by far! Their food and staff are amazing. Coral was awesome and super polite. Their prices are great as well. It's always a pleasure to dine here for the night. I highly recommend going here if you are in the area!

It wasn't our intended spot for breakfast, but it s where we ended up. The service was perfect, thanks to Kelly, our waitress. And, the food was, well... sweet n savory. It was great! If you like French toast, try the Berry French Toast. You will not be disappointed. I also wonder how they stay in business. The prices are way too inexpensive. All in all, great value. Excellent food. Great atmosphere.

I need a Sweet and Savoy where I live!! (9 hrs away from home) We ate at 3 different locations in the area and this place, by far, was my absolute favorite. I FINALLY got a real legit spicy margarita and boy was it so good!!(The first place we ate, I literally got a small ram of jarred jalapeños to put in my margarita, ugh, no thanks) You truly get more than what you pay for here!! Super clean, the girls bathroom was cute!! The staff are all so pleasant and so nice!! If you're in the area, please do yourself and that belly a favor and get here - you'll thank me later!! Also want to add- I'm big on seasoning my food, almost all other places I'd gone to, I needed salt or something to fix the bland- THIS PLACE, on point with the seasonings! Soooo good!!

My wife and I saw this place on diners, drive-thru, and Dives on the food network. Everything always looks great on TV, but this place the TV does not do it justice. The food is amazing. I had the SNS shrimp and grits and Mannnnnn was I not disappointed. The sauce they use in the dish was heavenly. Not to heavy but you knew you were getting something hardy. My wife got the French toast. The cinnamon rasin bread was super light and fluffy. We are definitely coming back.
10 out of 10 🌟. Oh and there mimosas are amazing as well.
