Hampton Inn & Suites St. Louis at Forest Park

Recently stayed at this location, and it was perfect for everything we wanted to do. The people at the front desk were amazing. I was lucky enough to have interactions with Nina and Lawrence, who were amazing and made sure that everything they do to make our stay as comfortable as possible was done. The only thing I could possibly think of as a negative is the road traffic at night, it’s not terrible by any means, especially with the air on but it is notable. Would recommend this location to anyone hitting the zoo and museum!

I hope Hilton recognizes how much value one employee (Nina at front desk) can add to a traveler's experience and brand loyalty. She is so great at her job. She calms and diffuses situations that inevitably arise; all while giving dining/sightseeing recommendations and engaging in small talk with clients. Oh, and the hotel's location and quality of amenities was wonderful also.

This hotel has a free "gated" parking lot. There is a gate that opens and closes when approached, so doesn't really provide any extra protection, but parking is well lit.
I forgot a charger and had one delivered. The front desk was helpful retrieving the item.
The room was clean and in good repair. Pillows seemed new, and we saw housekeeping replacing other worn pillows. The A/C wasn't overly loud. The noise was typical for a hotel, but not loud enough between rooms to disturb.
It's close enough to downtown but was a little tricky getting in and out of and merging from the interstate.
Overall nice stay.

Wow. If you read a handful of reviews, you’ll start to notice the same name keeps popping up — Nina. I experienced her 5-star, 5-diamond customer service this morning while checking out. Nina went above-and-beyond to make my departure seamless. The definition of exceptional service at a luxury hotel is “the kind of service that anticipates the needs of customers before they even express them.” Nina did this FOUR times in our one single interaction! Keep up the great work - cheers!

We stayed here for a night to go to the zoo and we had a great experience! Everyone who worked at the hotel was very kind, it was very clean and quiet, a great location for the zoo, and a great breakfast! There is also a restaurant right outside the hotel that was really cool and convenient to have right there after a day of traveling!

This is not a fancy hotel but it offers all the basic necessities for an overnight stay. We've stayed here twice now. Large & clean rooms. Friendly staff. Free breakfast. Small convenience section with snacks, soda, and beer for sale. Pack n play available. Location is Close to zoo if you're going there.

We stopped here driving from Florida to Colorado for an overnight rest we did not do much but sleep in the room. The room was very nice and clean. There were a lot of restaurants right downstairs that we did not get an opportunity to explore. The service was great and check in was a breeze.

I stayed here with my parents for three days and we were treated so well by the entire staff. Nina set the stage before we even arrived. She was so nice on the phone. I felt like she was an old friend. The hotel was clean. The location is good. I do wish the suite had a door where the sink is. Not much privacy without one and the bathtub area was tiny. I would definitely stay again and enjoy a good veggie burger at the restaurant next door.

Great hotel and conveniently located near several attractions. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was ok, not as many options as others.

Had a nice view in the room and the pool was small but nice. Still a great hotel. Worth stoping in.

This hotel was great but what made it top notch for me was Malissa at the front desk. She is a top tier front desk agent and went above and beyond to make me feel special for my birthday even after I was a little cranky from traveling 5.5 hours with 4 teenagers. We will continue to stay here when we come to town!

Nice, safe location. Quick access to downtown and other area attractions. We walked to the St Louis Science Center from the hotel, it was just 5 blocks away.
Parking was $10 per night and well lit. Pool was popular during our stay, as was the breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

The hotel is beautiful is beautiful, nice, and neat. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating especially front desk clerk Lawrence. I had to wait for my ride over the weekend in the hotel lobby after our beautiful 2 night stay and I was overwhelmed, tired and also frustrated Lawrence made sure I was very comfortable and safe til my ride came from 2 hours away. He sat out a game for me to play and shared several laughs and stories and suggested local food places close to area so i didnt get lost to take my mind off the time. His mother and another hotel employee often checked on me to make sure I was very comfortable and never once did I feel like I was a burden to them for sitting in lobby. Honestly I've never ran into such happy loving work environment ever. I would recommend staying here for now on everytime I go to STL. P.S. Sunday was also Lawrence birthday. I love how the staff and guest was made his work day special even tho he worked on his b-day. He had a very beautiful personality and one of the main reasons why I would suggest.
Families or just anyone in general to stay there and be around such a loving and comfortable and safe environment. I would recommend 10 stars if I could!!!

We have stayed at many different hotels in this area and this one was by far the best! Every staff member was incredibly friendly, they constantly asked if our family needed assistance, and even handed out toys to each of our kids (6yo and 1yo). The staff were frequently cleaning, the hotel looked immaculate. Breakfast had a wide variety of food and was delicious. We used the pool and gym 3x each and were happy with both. Multiple locations to eat within a 1min walking distance. We stayed two nights and housekeeping did not come during this time, but I believe it's a service you can request.
We will definitely be staying again! Thank you to the excellent staff (who I agree with a previous rater - they deserve a raise!)

This was a very good location. It was close to the children's hospital, the downtown, union station, the arch, etc. I only had to drive 5 to 10 minutes to get to any of these places. The room i stayed in was very large and had a microwave and mini fridge. The breakfast was hot and they had a large variety of items. The staff was helpful in answering questions and were friendly. I felt that the hotel was very clean. The only thing i wish they had was a hot tub, but obviously that is not a necessity.

We stayed here based on a recommendation. The staff was incredibly friendly. Our kids loved the pool, and the location was close to the zoo and other parts of town that we wanted to visit. We also enjoyed the free breakfast. We will stay here again!

Very clean! Great location! Really dug how clean and stocked the rooms were. Check in was easy. Pool clean. Also close to a great burger joint and excellent coffee shop. The St. Louis Science center is just down the road.. so bring the kids.

This place was located in a great area to visit the Botanical garden, zoo,and the science center. The room was clean and inviting. The morning breakfast has everything needed for a simple and quick get up and go. It was also clean and kept clean throughout the morning.

I was staying in town for a surgery and the hotel was very close to the hospital. The front desk staff very very nice. When my surgery was canceled last minute they helped me check out early and Nina was very kind.
The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The rooms were comfy. There was plenty of parking.
We didn’t get to see the pool or anything but in the future we will definitely stay there again!

High recommend staying! Hotel was very clean and in a good location. Parking is $10 and will be charged as part of the room fee. Pull out bed was extremely comfortable. Only complaint is the comforters are extremely THIN and we needed extra blankets! Don’t forget your blankets or to ask for more when you check in.

Breakfast is AMAZING and not just the typical muffins. They provided eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage links, make your own waffles, and then the traditional items, fruit muffins etc.
