Came here for the Sunday delivery - staying for the beautiful arrangements. This photo was grabbed from a larger pic and really doesn’t do the arrangement justice, but it was beautiful and substantial and truly unique. The price was quite competitive, too. Very happy with the first of what I know will be many orders from The Modest Florist.

I love this place! Libby is always kind, friendly, and has the neighborhood updates! For years she made flowers for my grandfather each month. She also treats the neighborhood businesses and churches with special treatment. She is a community player who loves what she does! She actually sources the flowers herself so her hours are a bit wonky as a one-woman show. I recommend reaching out before stopping by. Local flowers without preservatives and from sustainable sources...and she delivers in an electric vehicle! Support the environment, support The Modest Florist!

I originally placed my order for pickup but got caught in traffic from DC to Baltimore and was unable to make it to the shop before closing time. Libby honored a last-minute delivery request to my friend’s event at Johns Hopkins with a lovely bouquet in tow. Superb customer service!

I recently purchased the Sunshine Day! floral arrangement and chocolate set for one of our colleagues who was moving on to another job. The arrangement was delivered right on time, the customized note was perfect, and the flowers were so beautiful. I had a wonderful experience getting fresh flowers here! The owner is so incredibly sweet and very knowledgeable. The bouquet was arranged perfectly, and the flowers were very fresh and vibrant.

Love to stop by with my favorite vase and watch Libby make a beautiful arrangement. She sources her flowers locally and can provide you with great advice, and native plants, for your garden. Her flowers outlive, and are prices lower than, arrangements from 'upscale' florists that have their product shipped in from other countries. Stop in, you wont be dissappointed.

Have been ordering flowers & boutiques from Modest Florist for years now, for happy occasions and unfortunately sad occasions as well. Super responsive, understanding, & knowledgeable. I recommend all her services to anyone. She goes beyond and further to any necessary effort to make sure she provides the exact product we ask for.

Ordered flowers for my girlfriend in Baltimore (I am in Jersey). She got the GORGEOUS flowers on time in a vase with ribbon tied in beautiful bows around it as well. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and the handwritten note they did (although I told them what to write) was perfect. Will definitely shop from them again! Maybe I'll stop in next time! :)

Small custom order, one lapel flower, delivered on short notice and I wanted to be different and colorful. That was about the extent of the instructions. Libby deliver a fabulous creation, it was a hit at the event. And at a reasonable price! Well done!

If I could award 10 stars out of 5 I would! Not only is the arrangement that Libby created for my daughter spectacular but I know she went out of her way to shop for the personal touch I asked for and hand delivered the flowers in the pouring rain! Want something truly beautiful and unusual? Look no further. Whenever I need flowers, I give Libby my price limit and she always exceeds my expectations of what the money should get me. I think I may get invited to dinner parties because of the flowers I bring. :) Thank you, Libby!!

Excellent customer service and the arrangement was gorgeous. I inquired about the status of my order via email and received an update within ten minutes. Libby’s service is absolutely top notch.

Libby is highly accommodating and warm, and always has a unique selection of flowers to choose from. She is always willing to work within my budget to create something beautiful for my events or for my kitchen table.
