Wilson's Steak & Seafood

We are from Texas and decided to extend our vacation to Lake Ouachita by traveling through Louisiana. We decided to camp at Lake Bistineau, and saw signs for this local seafood resturaunt. We are so glad we stopped in! We ordered catfish and boiled shrimp, and we were not dissappointed! The buffet has bean soup, coleslaw, pickled green tomatoes, and just puppies to go with what you order. The flavors were excellent, and the views were beautiful! We will defiantly go back if we are ever in the area again :)

It’s been 20 years since I was here last the food is spectacular I had the Catfish Acadian, catfish with etouffee on top in a bed of rice.

Wonderful people. Great service. Excellent food. Kid friendly. Many time having live music.

Was originally upset that there were no steaks tonight but grilled fish was good. Live band was great!!!

Love this place! Delicious food, great service and the best authentic lake bistineau bayou experience. They're crawfish was just right. Very flavourful with the right amount of spice. We sat outside which was so relaxing. Even had a couple come up in their boat and walk up to the restaurant for dinner. The kids thought that was the coolest thing.

We had the fried crawfish tails. Excellent! I had a huge bowl of boiled shrimp and my son got fried frog legs and fried fish. All was served hot and fresh. Well worth the drive. Great service

Great service, the food was great. Love the updates. Staff is friendly. Just down to earth country atmosphere and come as you are kind of place. Hats off to the kitchen staff as well.

First time eating here. Food was wonderful and waitress was attentive to our needs and helped me choose a good dinner. The view off the back patio is gorgeous. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely wonderful place and wonderful food. If you have never been this place is a must and so worth the little drive. We set outside overlooking the lake.. beautiful

Was there Saturday March 11th. Never have I ever enjoyed myself that much at a restaurant. Really enjoyed the porch setting. And the service was excellent. Friendy. I would love to have a place like this back home in texas, to hang out.

Good food great service. We really enjoyed visiting with Ronnie Chris incredible person to know. Was and still is the best place I have ever eaten and I'm 43. Worth the 3 hour trip from trinity texas

I had the fried jumbo shrimp (almost as good as previous owners!). My husband had steak, which he said was delicious. Took a long time to get our food, but was hot and tasty.

Great local restaurant!

Food was great and the two servers who were working when we went today (on Father's Day Sunday) were friendly, attentive, and were working hard the whole time we were there. We would definitely go again.

The service was Great, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was friendly, very nice place to go if you want to be dressed up or not, they have a outside eating section as well as inside, they are cranking out boiled crawfish right now, but we ate fish and it was nice pieces not shriveled up pieces of fish jerky, and I loved the hush puppies,they were the round ones they are not too hot but had just a touch of peppers in them with a little sweetness to make them really tasty, I recommend it to older and younger couples and families....I'll definitely be back we love , love, loved it, and trust me I don't give theses reviews to you unless we were impressed!!!

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, THEU SCREW WAITRESSES OUT OF THEIR CREDIT CARD TIPS BC IT HAPPENED TO ME PERSONALLY ABOUT AN HOUR AGO. I WAS NOT EVEN "LET GO" IN ANY MANNER. SHE JUST SAID THANKS .I WORKED FOR 3 WEEKS AND ENDED UP WITH AN 85$ CHECK. NONE OF MY CREDIT CARD TIPS WERE ADDED AND OF COURSE I WENT RIGHT BACK TO EXPLAIN THIS. TO WHICH SHE REPLIED I TOLD YOU YOU HAD TO ENTER YOUR CARD TIPS (WHICH WAS THE MOST ABSURD THING I'VE EVER HEARD) Because she could barely show me how to clock in and out properly. I'm my opinion I was STOLEN FROM. There should be proof SOMEWHERE. It is a computer system and I know for a fact the receipts were saved as well so why wouldn't she be able to get them totaled up and pay me? I dunno all I know is this is the absolute worst place to work PERIOD. And I definitely wouldn't recommend going there because your waitresses are being robbed by their own boss.

Nice place to eat and super friendly people. Even though they was short staffed they got the job done with a smile on their face.

Food was good, staff very friendly and prompt. Wish they were open, more than Friday and Saturday.
