Ohhh my goodness! My family went here for dinner. Not really know what to expect as we received a gift card and wanted to us
it, the food was amazing! Way above our expectations. We will for sure visit again.

Consistently excellent food quality and service. I've always loved the dimly lit atmosphere...this is a big plus for me. This seared tuna salad (pictured) is so full of flavor and fresh ingredients. Also Wednesdays are half off bottled wine all day ;)

Had family coming in town and we choose here for dinner on a Friday night. Now I am not an oyster fan. Really NOT a fried oyster fan but maaaaaannnn those Boulevard Oysters were delicious. Had an Old Fashion and it was perfect. Tasted great. The Hawaiian Ribeye was tender and tasty. Had the Black Beans and rice with it. Needed a few more beans with it but that would have been the only complaint. If you like chocolate get the Walnut Brownie ala mode. It was a perfect end to the meal. I would gladly go here again. Nice subdued lighting. Great service. This is a great date night or family dinner spot.

We had an absolutely great experience. We hadn't eaten at the Bistro before. The last time we ate there, it was a Houston's. The food exceeded our expectations, and we haven't had better service anywhere. We arrived at 8:30 PM & usually when you go to a restaurant around closing time you don't get the best food and service but that wasn't the case w/ us. Spinach dip was outstanding, and our entrees were excellent. Our server I don't remember his name, but he graduated from Shaw High School, and he was in medical school. He also works at Ochsner in their research department. He was absolutely incredible at his job and also had a wonderful personality. He took pride in himself and the restaurant. He didn't rush us even though it was closing time. You had a staff full of this gentleman working there your restaurant would be on a wait open to close. You don't find many waiters like him. We truly enjoyed our dinner and our service. My wife and I were blown away!! Exceeded expectations is an under statement.

Superb lunch. I'll be back. All three of us had different things and we all loved what we had. The artichoke appetizer was divine.

The food and service was excellent!! We ate the BBQ shrimp, salmon, and red fish. My husband started eating the BBQ right away. We had an amazing time. The only thing was there were gnats flying around our food. Still didn’t take away from the restaurant experience.

Once again, my honey and I had a great time here. We loved our server, Trinity. She was very attentive and friendly. The food was great. I planned on trying something else, but I just had to get the crab cake again. It’s so good. We did try the fried oyster appetizer. Oh my! This was so good. Our drinks were great too. Love this place!

I was recently in New Orleans for Mardi Gras. It decided to check out something a little off the grid. The location isn’t really far from downtown, maybe a 10 minute drive or so but the food… Simply incredible. This is the most flavorful, soulful, and enticing food I’ve ever had at this price point. The roasted chicken reminded me of the stuffed chicken you get at Ruth’s Chris yet it was half it’s Ruth Chris Price. The salad dressings all homemade in-house delicious.

Our server, Shelton was simply amazing!

Very very good guy quick service, detail, oriented, attentive, didn’t even need to ask for any refills or anything like that. He was on it.

Highly recommend this restaurant and when you go ask for Shelton. He just started there a couple weeks ago but is superb!

One of the absolute best dinning experiences I’ve had in a long time. After having a long rough day I dined in at this amazing restaurant to eat some of the best food in the city. I’m so appreciative of the amazing staff and servers at this restaurant! I was well taken care of, thank you Claude for such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely delicious. Beautiful atmosphere. Thoroughly impressed with entire dining experience (less my crying 2 year old). Live in Baton Rouge and already planning to drive back to Metairie to try something new. Way to go. See you soon!

We went here for a birthday dinner. Not only was the food unbelievable, but what made the whole experience wonderful was our waiter. Not only was he friendly and knowledgeable, but he made our dinner just wonderful. I highly recommend this place for any occasion or just a date night or weekly getaway dinner!!

1/9/2019 ♡♡♡Just went for our date day. The food was excellent. From the oysters, to the roasted artichokes, everything was delicious. Service was great. Our cups never were empty. Upscale all the time. We love it!!!♥♥This place is always on point. The food is never disappointing. The wait staff is all about prompt and excellent service. The atmosphere is great for family dining. The prices are reasonable. And the restrooms are always clean. Though I refuse to use public restrooms, my family states that they are the cleanest.

Wonderful meal and then a special treat for my son's birthday. That Amaretto Cheesecake had a taste like Flan. So delicious!
Crystal was a great waitress.

The nostalgia from visiting the old Houston’s location had given me high hopes for the newer similar Boulevard restaurant.

I must say, it did not disappoint. Had to start off with the classic spinach and artichoke dip they were known for. Creamy and cheesy, salsa was a bit more watery than I remembered though.

The star of the show was the Hawaiian ribeye, sweet and smoky with a perfect amount of charr. Service was excellent, very friendly hosts and staff. Andrew had a great attitude, very warm personality.

Parking is also a plus, a lot of spaces available and easily accessible compared to St Charles location.

I gave family visiting from the West Coast and I brought them to Boulevard for lunch. We had a wonderful time and our server Rachel went above and beyond with service, recommendations, politeness and professionalism. The food was delicious and most filling. My French 75 was fantastic. We had the best time ever.

The ambience of this restaurant was the first thing I noticed and fell in love with… Our waitress was very sweet and even made us a drink that was not listed on the menu, Lemon drop martini’s. They were absolutely amazing and definitely had enough alcohol… My Wife ordered the oyster Appetizer and they came on a bed of cream spinach and she looooovvvveeeed them…. She ordered the filet mignon and I had the BBQ Ribs!!! When I tell you everything was simply amazing!!! The steak was pure butter!! It melted in your mouth and even the day after was still soft and amazing!!! The ribs did not need any extra sauce or anything ! They were perfect, even the French fries were delicious!! We were celebrating our anniversary so they gave us a free dessert and we chose the cheesecake. It was sweet with a nice crunchy bottom, loved it!! Always a good time coming to Boulevard ! We visit probably at least once a month and the food is always delicious ! My favorite is the boulevard oysters - and you can get them a little extra crispy if you’d like. They also have a very good cesar salad and the steak is always cooked perfect!

Excellent service and amazing prime rib. Juicy and warm just as we like it. The staff is friendly and never let an empty plate or glass sit on the table. Our drinks were never left empty. 2 members of management visited our table throughout the evening to ensure we were being cared for.

Amazing and flavorful food with relaxing atmosphere. We often visit the boulevard American bistro for lunch meetings.
Yeah atmosphere is very relaxed but you get your food in a very timely manner. Makes for a great lunch spot.
All menu items have been a five star for us. Our favorites include: fire roasted artichokes, smoked salmon appetizer, Woodfired trout and really anything else on the menu.
Not just good flavor… Excellent flavor craft. The right amount of salt or the right amount of sweet etc.
If you just want to stop by and try several of their entrées or appetizers they have them on special for happy hour. Eight dollar small plates

Had a girls day at The Boulevard and we truly enjoyed ourselves. We had reservations so we didn't have to wait. The only problem we had was the table was extremely close to the other table, so if someone had to get up the other table was disturbed.

THE SERVER- we had, Mina or Mena, was fantastic. It was 6 of us and she didn't miss a beat. She was extremely friendly, like she knew us. She was knowledgeable about the menu and she was a lot of fun. She even offered to take our photo before we left.

THE FOOD-my oh my! The appetizers we had were DELICIOUS! The entrée was also tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals to the fullest. Desserts however are not their best suit. The walnut cobbler looked amazing and the ladies that ordered said it was good, but too many walnuts and one of them didn't have much cobbler, just walnuts.

The restroom was clean. The other thing was, the restaurant is really dark.
