I love that it is a no kill shelter!! We have gotten three animals there, and we absolutely love our new pets so much! Adoption fee is affordable and makes it so much easier to adopt, and the animals come spayed or neutered and with shots! I wholeheartedly recommend them!!!

Got a very sweet, loving and intelligent dog from here that my daughter absolutely adores and who absolutely adores my daughter. It's so cute seeing the two of them chasing each other around the living room. We had originally come here just to get a feel for the kind of dog we wanted, but after seeing the two of them together, we knew we'd found our dog. And it was so easy to adopt too. Just a minimal fee and they took care of getting her spayed and her first shots. Thank you for the newest member of our family.

My wife and I just got two amazing young cats (only came for one :). Already spayed and neutered, and they gave us some donated carrying boxes to be our cat carriers; saves us a ton of money. There was no fee due to some seasonal overages, so they were 100% free of charge for us. They gave us all the needed vaccination records and were very happy to answer our questions. We viewed the dogs and all cats, and they were all very well taken care of. The building was sparkling clean, including some gentle reminders to sanitize your hands between rooms. Overall very well run animal shelter.

We adopted our dog from here back in January. It is a great facility! Super caring people and lots of love for the animals.

I went to look at kittens and a mother cat just had babies that morning.2 had no tails so I claimed one.ten weeks later I got the most beautiful grey Japanese bobtail. She is a runt and very smart and loves to kiss and cuddle. Great place. Check their facebook

I adopted a healthy kitten with no parasites. All kittens are vaccinated with the follow up vaccines and spayed when she was old enough. All Veterinarian care was included in the adoption price.
You could tell the employees loved animals. I watched one employee give each kitten a kiss goodbye after they were adoption.

I found a kitten I always wanted. She is a mixed maine coon cat breed. Wanted a full one but wasn't willing to pay the prices that everyone wanted. Never bought an animal in my life so I decided to adopt one from the animal shelter. Got what I wanted. She is beautiful and very loving

Great place and the shelter animal control officer Nicole does a fantastic job with the animals. The main concern in life when it comes to animals is if they go to a good home or a bad one and trying to pin point which that is sometimes is harder than people give you credit for.

Wonderful place to get a dog don't buy adopt

The employees were awesome and helpful. The dogs and cats were very reasonably priced. They give you a bunch of supplies with your new adoption which is amazing.

Great shelter, I got my dog from them last November and she's been great. Staff is very helpful

We got our kitten to keep our Holland lop company. Never expected them to be best friends and inseparable!! Staff is always friendly and helpful when we take the kitten in for shots.

Very clean shelter. Friendly, helpful and informative staff. Unfortunately, most of the cages were occupied with a dog needing a real home. (Please, consider adopting a homeless dog. And remember to spay/neuter to stop overpopulation.) 🐾🐾

This is where we adopted our Lab/Husky mix.... They love the animals in their care and keep good records... Mine had all her shots and they microchipped her for us before we took her home....When I needed to get my dog flea and tick meds and couldn't locate her records, all it took was a call to the shelter and they pulled her records up right away... Love this place.

Love the people and animals. I highly recommend this animal shelter to any one I also love volunteering here thay rilly Care about the wellbeing of the animals it is vary clean to. if I could I wood give this shelter 20 stars so if you are looking for a dog or cat go to the jasper animal shelter and give an animal a good home .so overall it is a vary good place and for the staf keep up the good work.

The people were so nice everyone was super sweet it made the whole thing go a lot smoother I would recommend to anyone who wishes to adopt or who has to surrender an animal thank you Pickens County animal shelter
