Jefferson Parish Water Department

I had an issue logging into the Water Department site, so I called on an overdue bill to make a payment and arrangements to pay the remainder in 2 increments before the December Bill is posted. The representative that I spoke with was EXCELLENT!! She helped me to. set the dates for my 2 increments and processed my payment and helped me so that I could get back into the online site! She made my day!!

I never have problems with the automated system and thanks for allowing me an extension for my due date and still don't cut me off even when I go over the extension date pretty good service if you ask me. What more could u want?

Creo que despues de la pandemia esta oficina a estado cerrada y solo por Internet lo atienden a uno, deberian de crear una aplicacion "apk" en el celular para que podamos hacer los pagos online, ya sus horarios son los mas malos, 8:30 - 4:00 nosotros los que trabajamos osea sus clientes entramos a trabajar a las 7am y salimos a las 4:30-5:00 pm no nos da tiempo de ir a la oficina a pagar o hacer algun reclamo por el tiempo y si hay trafico en el hwy 10, ni digamos que llegaremos a tiempo, ya la tecnología esta abanzada para andar haciendo pagos físicamente de papel, espero que sean conscientes y puedan mejorar el servicio de pagos, hasta le pueden enviar el bill del mes a abonado por celular con el numero que registro al abrir el depósito de agua.. feliz dia y Dios los bendiga

I would definitely urge you to start getting things done online including paying for service and etc. Because we want to save paper, save trees, save energy, & save the planet Earth. My past 3 bills have all come as pink notices, stating that it's a final notice and I need to respond immediately or my water service will be disconnected. I can't tell you how upset this makes me, considering I have never missed a bill payment in the decades I have been using this service. So someone please tell me, how can I get a notice that I'm late with a payment, if I never received the first notice that the payment is due?!?!
When this happened the 2nd time, I called to see what was going on, and basically they had no information to give me other than they could tell my bill was over due. NOT an organized way to run a business. I'm extremely on top of all my bills, as this is important to me, so Jeff. Parish Dept. of Water, PLEASE do something to upgrade your billing system!!!

I'm pretty certain this is illegal! Switched to a Paystar platform without my consent. Logged into to view an amount due of 400% more than I've ever paid in over 10 years! There's no option to view the details explaining what the charges are for, there's no option to chat with anyone for help. Only option is to pay! Tried calling Jeff parish water dept and a recording says "due to staffing shortages" they can't get a human on the line and continue to list ways to pay! This is not legal!!!!!!

We are being robbed by our own government, been paying the water bill associated with my current address for well over 20 years, proud to be a Jefferson parish resident my whole life of 63. But all that has changed when the parish switched water bill online payment system, ever parish resident I’ve spoken to tell me their water bill has doubled, some tripled! Yet the parish refuses to acknowledge the problem. All we keep hearing are preposterous excuses from the parish, even from the parish president, saying we all have leaks, dripping toilets, or faucets, really. My bill before paystar was no more than $70.00, after paystar it jumped to $172.00.

My water bill is under 100.00 from October thru May.
I an receiving cutoff notices and emails stating my water bill is $6,553.00 and no one will come out and read the meters. They have something wrong obviously. They made 3 appointments with me and no one ever showed up. Why can't they just come out and read the meter. They don't need an appointment to read a meter. This is absolutely ridiculous. Now they are cutting off my water at a school. no less.
