West Oaks Mall

Nice place to take little kids to burn energy.
They have coin operated cars and a indoor playground. Not very crowded. I wish they would get the carousel running.
Food court has smoothies and there's hot pretzels.

Today 06.11.2024 time 11:30. My husband and I were signed up to change our address in ID.The very friendly woman at window 54 helped us get everything done quickly and with no problems.She is incredible.Lifted our spirits with her energy.

West oaks Mall is still pumping and hanging in there.All of the food spots are still opened , when I went the ice cream spot was closed ! BBW WORKS is still open , the JC Penny, and the Dillards Clearance Store . It was a little busy for a Tuesday ! I’m happy to see that it was getting foot traffic ! I love the AMC theatre in here !

A small, quaint Mall, that would definitely satisfy any "dead mall" enthusiast. Clean. Photos are edited to enhance Shadows - it's not nearly that dark, haha.

This mall has really turned around and cleaned up nicely. Just needs a few more mainstream stores and it would be back on top.

It's your basic Mall, might I suggest a comfortable footwear, good food, exceptional martial arts training center always packed, nice Multiplex clean well kept, excellent in house law enforcement, you feel very safe, I've been going there for almost 21 years with no problems, go have fun.🌹

The mall is so beautiful and always clean. The AMC is good and comfortable. The people working in the very few stores left are so friendly and helpful that make your visit a great one. I remember the mall before and breaks my heart to see how empty it’s today and how a few local businesses are struggling to stay opened...Hoping that it will go to back to normal again❤❤

THE CULTURE OF WEST OAKS.. this mall is experiencing the blockbuster effects but 1000% still worthy of our business. Most of the franchises are gone and what remains is the independent family owned businesses and the locals understand that. The food vendors are amazing here and the AMC does what It can to stay relevant. They do sell out of movie drops still and have a bar as well. There are still
Shoe stores here and some amazing artist! Please come here knowing what to expect and be willing to support these businesses. They deserve to thrive a bit in these conditions and during holiday season. You can purchase a nice painting here, great food and sweet treats, custom made clothing, tough sneakers and hype beast apparel. Watch a good movie and get a drink or two. West Oaks mall has a story to tell and I’ve never had a bad experience there. All good things to say and amazing culture!

The mall is still beautiful and spacious. Upkeep is impeccable! Not so many shops, but when you are there you long for that old hustling and bustling vibrancy of a few years back. Hoping for the best as this mall had all the great stores in it! The food court has good options still, movie theater is taking a hit due to Covid-19. Some shops have stayed the course.

The place is almost empty so no crowds to fight! Plenty of parking! Plenty of room to social distance! Lots of empty storefronts here, an opportunity for you to open your on shop! There is a place to work out & lift weights!! Massage chairs and it’s so quiet you can nap! Mall walkers are welcome! See you here!

Hey! This mall is a perfect place to make one of those movies about the end of the world. I believe it's over 50% closed stores, including big names that left the place. Depending of what time you chose to visit it it may be scary if not unsafe. But in regular hours is fine. My wife takes our 3 y.o. grand daughter at least once a week to play in their indoor playground which kids love. And the beautiful carousel and other rides are still working. Theater is also working and is neat.

I love the oaks Mall. I just feel sad about the landscaping. The magnolia trees are absolutely beautiful but everything else looks sad and dated it needs to be updated some irrigation put into would help. Evidently the person who owns or manages the West oaks Mall doesn't understand the meaning of first appearance is everything. The first thing you see when you come up to the mall is what the landscaping is when you have dead stuff or dying stuff it says a lot it says it's not loved you need to spruce up the outside. there's one area that's just grass a beautiful weeping willow will look nice there you also have an area that has just a couple of plants and empress tree would look beautiful there and people would love their blossoms they've got beautiful purple blossoms that smell like a cross between a wisteria and a gardenia. But give it some color and not just some greenery some crotons would be nice in there anything some Hawaiian ties. But first of all you need to get some irrigation. This is Florida for God's sake we have rain but it is sporadically. We have hurricanes yes but not all the time. And you need to put into consideration that when it does rain the sprinklers do not need to come on that's just wasting money unless you put a well in. And put a rain timer on the irrigation.

Hi! Having been Blessed to actually watch the construction of this Beautiful mall was a dream come true! Construction started in 1994 through 1996, of which the Beautiful West Oaks Mall opened! Within a 7 minute drive (if traffic is light) we can pull into the entrance in under Ten minutes. Living in this area our whole lives,I remember when the entire area where the West Oaks Mall now graces, was an over grown field and brush land. Before then,we would always visit our other beloved and treasured Orlando Square Mall in Orlando. I’ll always remember how new, that great new construction smell, so nice, and how beautiful the mall was on opening day,and,throughout the many years we would (and continue) to visit it! Still a Beautiful mall, as all malls are to us! The staff at West Oaks Mall,then and now,are so nice and always welcoming! We drive past the “WOM” almost every day/night,and will always Cherish it! They work hard,and,I so happy that new stores are back in some of the vacant spaces! Great food,too! I do miss, very much, the Haagen Das ice cream store, to the left, in the main entrance. Great library. We're from MI on a stressful mission and the gal behind the desk gave us a courtesy guest pass to use the internet. She helped with printing out legal documents for us to take to the hospital. One moment to the next was urgent for us and she helped facilitate a smooth job of it.

Shout out to Sonya E. for saving me a 4th trip to this place, after the 1st and 2nd trips were fails due to customer service errors! My time and money spent on documents I didn't need were due to customer service employees not knowing their jobs 😒. Thank you Sonya 😊

Great movie theater. But in a dead mall.
They need to do something with that mall. Add anything. Roller skating, ice skating, go carts, Lazer tag, indoor gun range, arcade,
Mini golf. Apartments. Tattoo shop. Give space to police and fire for training or an extra station. I have so many ideas. Team up with dream malls.

Moonbeam partners purchased the mall and they are putting a lot of effort into improving it. They have attracted new stores and they sponsor special events. This past week I went to a health and wellness expo. There were lots of vendors. The mall was comfortable. Everyone enjoyed going to the various tables and talking to the people there. On the first weekend in November there will be a Children's Expo. It used to be at the convention center, but now it will be here, with plenty of free parking. Look for wonderful vendors with many opportunities for parents and grandparents. The mall has a wonderful playground for children and a carousel too. If you love table tennis, this is a great place for you because they are having tournaments. I heard that Sunday afternoon was busy so I dropped by to see for myself. Sure enough, there were lots of families shopping and enjoying time together. They looked like they were on their way home from church. The AMC 14 theater is one of the places I appreciate in this mall.

This place is very nice, they have great food, they have a boba shop and other stuff, alot of stands, the pretzel stand though, it is AMAZING!! But otherwise, it is full at early times. But its great!
