A plethora of issues with the staff at this location. A few of the staff members are very nice but unfortunately there is more than one bad apple and the bad apples are disrespectful borderline abusive. The secretary Candyce is snarky and patronizing when things don't go her way. When issue was brought up with supervisor, supervisor backed up this staff member's horrible behavior. Megan (and Gwen) are the sweetest and nicest people working here.

I don't make a practice of leaving negative comments however this is above and beyond deserving of it and at this point I am desperate for this situation to change as it cannot get any worse therefore we have nothing to lose by posting this. We have been frequenting this clinic for my infant's cf for almost one year now. A certain staff member and supervisor have been excessively conniving, abusive, and with no regard to "care" for us as patients but quite the opposite. Our last visit was the last straw for us (this has been going on and building up for awhile). My child was crying and screaming as we could not find her vein for over 5 minutes so I finally asked the nurses to stop trying and we can try another day (as a parent we will do anything and everything to protect our children from pain and suffering, after all it is every parent's first and foremost duty). The supervisor (Tracey Flood) enters the room at the most opportune time and says we have to leave and go to another cf location (nearest clinic 75 miles). An aside note: I would like to add that the doctors here are great, most staff members are excellent but unfortunately the real problem lies with the aforementioned conniving supervisor, thus gives this clinic a bad name. When I told the doctor that this supervisor had told us to leave and go to another location she denied it. I am filing official complaints. Being a single parent I truly feel I have been targeted and discriminated against by Ms. Flood. Ms. Flood is well aware of my situation (I've had an extremely difficult and challenging year which I won't discuss here). Ms. Flood's behavior goes against everything that the CF Foundation stands for. She is unprofessional, unethical, and uncaring. I have asked her repeatedly what her role is in helping my daughter's cf and she could never give me an answer just a blank stare. Discrimination should never happen nor should it happen at this cf clinic where my baby is currently attending. I have spoken to other cf parents who have had issues with this clinic as well. Some have chosen to drive far distances to other cf clinics. Unfortunately it would be very difficult to do as a single parent and given our specific situation. It is truly an unfortunate situation that this local clinic is run by such an uncaring, conniving, manipulative, harassing (Ms. Flood kept lurking around us from room to room waiting for an opportune moment to attack and this over the three plus hours we were there on this specific day), calculating, and unprofessional supervisor as opposed to a kind and caring person you would expect who supervises a children's cystic fibrosis clinic. She has deliberately stacked the cards against me over a period of time.
Ms. Flood also barked at me in front of her staff that I "couldn't accept that your daughter had cf when she was one month old and you can't accept it now!" She is a very vile and evil woman with an agenda who hides behind a smirk.
Things kicked into high gear for Ms. Flood (and her giving me a hard time every time she dealt with me) a couple of months ago when the secretary called me yelling at me about my infant's insurance and how she has to get it authorized every visit and it's all my fault. It was abusive and when I calmly brought it up later on to Ms. Flood she barked at me saying it's not her job and hung up on me.
Again, there is something very wrong with all of this. All I'm asking from this cystic fibrosis clinic is medical care for my baby daughter without abuse nor harassment. I don't feel that's asking too much and I'm being put in a position where I don't feel it is a safe environment for myself nor for my daughter yet what are our options?! There are no other options for us. If I have to go to Miami's cf clinic (w/ traffic 2 hrs approx one way plus 3 hr apmt plus another approx 2 hr drive back) I'd have to get a hotel each visit with dog and baby. I literally get physically ill (vomiting and migraines) every single time we have to go to this clinic. This isn't right!

They close the Cistic Fibrosis for ever and they not even notified the patient about, wrorst service ever. Avoid this hospital, they are not professional or good trained on taking care of the patients. Emergency is even worst.
