Henderson Beach Resort

This is our second time coming to Henderson. We love your restaurant, beaches with gorgeous sunsets and friendly professional staff...One of those is a Young lady name Berry at the front desk who took care of a few minor issues with our rooms.
My friend who originates from Taiwan who was attending the conference with us had an issue with his room but could NOT express the problem in English
And Berry being proficient in languages took care of the problem. She is a AWESOME ASSET to your resort. We will be back next year!

The service was amazing the rooms were comfortable, but it did not have the foods my daughter liked ,they didn’t have French toast. Upon arrival, they provided my kids free gifts and macaroons which was a very nice touch and appreciated.

My wife and I plus our dog had a great visit. The staff was welcoming, the room was beyond perfect and the dining options kept us happy. I am disabled, able to walk but not far. Valet and staff were very accommodating with providing rides to and from the beach which really made the whole trip enjoyable. Usually its such a hassle for me to deal with but not here!! Hotel was quiet, we never heard anyone in the halls or beside us. It was the perfect vacation=)

Fantastic hotel and location! I had a wonderful time over there... even if it was a business meeting, the location granted us a relaxing and valuable time off!

The whole property is amazing. Spa was first class! Horizons bar was very laid back and cozy. Food was superb. Robert Romans was playing and singing in the bar. Very cool. There were even smores at the fire pit. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Overall great experience.

I've stayed twice at this beautiful resort and loved every minute of it. The staff is always professional and cheerful, eager to help. The food and drinks are excellent. The rooms are spacious and well appointed.

It is a bit of a walk to the beach, but not so far as to be tiresome. The resort sits across the street from the beach, so you're walking the length of the resort, across a small street and then down a block or so to get to where you can rent umbrellas and chairs.

There are separate pools for adults and children, which is nice. The children's pool has a "lazy river" that's only 3' deep and fun for kids to float on.

Destin is a great place to visit, always lots to do for both families and adults, from shopping, playing, eating, etc.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THE HENDERSON. We have stayed in the hotel twice and now we are in one of the on site condos. The only thing I can compare it to is the Rotz. Quality Service Everything is Great!

We have stayed here multiple times over the years and love it! Typically we stay in the loft condos. Rooms are spacious and clean. Amenities are great (love the pools!) and everyone is very friendly. Food and drinks at all the restaurants/bars are AMAZING, especially the sushi at Primrose. Highly recommend staying here if you get the chance! Edit: added some photos. Also, huge shoutout to Raged, our server at Primrose. He was so friendly and funny and really went above and beyond for us.

Henderson Resort is absolutely amazing destination for families, couples, or a group of friends. The customer service is top notch service with several amenities from the workout gyms, pools with lazey rivers, footsteps away from the private beaches, fine dining, golf courses and fishing nearby, and much more. We usually stay at the Lofts or Parkside locations usually 3 to 4 times a year with family and friends. You will not be disappointed with this resort.

We are headed home from an incredible week at The Henderson Beach Resort, and we have had such a wonderful time. Probably our favorite family trip we’ve taken. We’re already talking about coming back.

This property has an incredible team and it is evident that they have high standards set by their great GM, John. Special shoutouts to Donna at Primrose, Ron at the rooftop bar, and Mike at the beach rental stand. Such kind, helpful, and hardworking people who exemplify hospitality. The concierge, Susan, is top notch and makes you feel like you’re best friends. She knows the property inside and out and provides an elevated experience with her expertise.

Everyone has made this such a positive experience. Our rooms are constantly cleaned, and we have only positive things to say about every aspect of our stay. And the beds - SO comfortable!

We'll be talking about this trip for a very long time - at least until we return again!

Such a beautiful property! The rooms were nice and spacious! The food was absolutely amazing! The Spa was perfect with a steam sauna and Jacuzzi! We had an issue with checking in but they more than corrected the issue and we cannot wait to return for our next visit!

Mary Collins is awesome! Go to horizons and have her make you a dirty martini! You won’t be sorry. The rooftop part is awesome but I don’t want to tell you guys that because the next time I go to be super crowded now. So the rooftop bar sucks stay away! Also, the valleys are awesome and super friendly. This is an awesome resort pet like I said I feel bad telling you guys about it because I don’t want it to be super crowded when I come back!

I booked a weekend to stay here over labor day. I called less than 24 hours later to cancel my reservation, due to Hurricane Idalia bearing down and I did not want to risk traveling to a potential hurricane area with my pregnant wife. I was told I would receive a full refund. Two months later I have been told repeatedly that I would not be getting a refund, even though I never stayed at this resort. I was charged for a service I did not receive.

Great place to go for a family vacation. Dogs are welcome to be in and around the resort. So relaxing 😌 Came for Thanksgiving and Christmas. So worth every penny.

I went for an event and found the food and service to be top notch along with beautiful facilities. It’s very clean and the sound quality for the concert was excellent.

Beautiful Resort. Clean comfortable rooms. The staff is amazing. I would stay again! Because everything about this resort is exceptional. And the have separate adult only areas, kids club, and tons of activities from mermaids swimming in the pool to movies for the kids by the pool.

Location is perfect & the private beach entrance won us over. We had beach chairs every single day and could order food and drinks without walking to the bar. The primrose restaurant inside is decent, a little expensive but expected for this type of resort. The rooms are coastal & cute. The housekeeping service is just okay. Valet works their tails off. We loved the pool & lazy River! There are a lot of activities on site so be sure to check the calendar! There’s also a little boutique on-site & a small cafe. If you rent a car there is a lot nearby! Highly recommend

The resort is absolutely stunning. The rooms beautiful. But the spa, the spa is amazing! More specifically, Sherry at the spa! Sherry gave me the absolute best pedicure I have ever received! She is incredible! She took her time, made sure I was relaxed and comfortable and when my toes were finished, they looked incredible! If you’re staying at the resort make sure to visit the spa and ask for Sherry, I promise you won’t be disappointed!

It always is because of the kind and courteous staff and the beautiful amenities this resort has to offer. From the fine dining to the awesome rooms with wonderful views, to the peaceful and relaxing surroundings. The spa was awesome again with the massages my wife and I got on Sunday. We stayed here back in September of last year for the first time and it was amazing. Well, you didn't disappoint because you were just as stunning the second time around. We will definitely be back and the Henderson is quickly becoming our home away from home when we are not in Pensacola! Keep up the great work you guys do there and we cant wait until our next visit! You all run a top notch resort with all of the accommodations anyone could ask for.

SIMPLY MAGICAL: I am a local to this expansive and deeply loved beach town. My husband and I are always out creating adventure. Looking for the magic all around Destin and that is EXACTLY what I found today. Even the soul who provided a skin care service was named Marybel. I am ethereal about this experience. The staff was ever so welcoming and engaging. The professional atmosphere really added something extra for me! It felt as though I was at a spa in Disney World or Europe. To comment on the service, I chose to do an "Essentials Balancing Facial". The esthetician is highly experienced. She began with soft tonality when speaking before starting, cleared the air with bells, and utilized massage techniques that melted the fascia in the muscles on my face. On top of that, she added in an EPIC head massage (along with hands and arms, although she had me at head scratch!). My mind is at ease and my heart feels full of gratitude for the Henderson Beach Resort Team and their Managment. This is the most relaxed I have felt since experiencing some world-altering experiences this year and I want to truly Thank You from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul. I look forward to the next adventure there!
