Holy smokes! What a cute little shop and yes VERY VERY good prices!! Julia is so sweet and reassuring and had great taste in trinkets and trends! Her corgi is also super cute!!

Great stop to shop for local gifts and cool items to brighten up you home.

Stop in every time we are in town and always find a neat gift for the kids or family. Then head down to the City Pier for a wonderful view of Tampa Bay water way and enjoy the activities all around.

Absolutely LOVE this store. Its a must stop every trip down to Anna Maria.

This shop has been around for decades, it is a yearly pilgrimage on Anna Maria and Holmes beach when visiting the island. The owner always has beautiful and unique items. A MUST SEE SHOP!

I made a habbit of driving out to the Island atleast once a month to visit Sand Dollar. It's the cutest little place ever and my coworkers are completely hooked on shopping here too! It's extremely well organized and has such a welcoming vibe to it thanks to the amazing staff!

We loved this treasure of a place & the owners/employees were being lovely. They were so welcoming & attentive {masks on the whole time & clearly started all over the store that all should comply with wearing a mask while in their store}. I could get lost in there... a little world of awe & wonder! We had such an enjoyable experience the first time that we just had to go back once more before our visit to Anna Maria Island ended. And again... what a great experience. We found so many great, fun, excellent quality items & spent a relaxing time shopping in this store. I have no experience or knowledge of the previous owners but these ladies, the new Owners since February 2020, are an absolute delight. They even gave us wonderful recommendations of restaurants, neighboring shops & even a great dog park for our pup to enjoy! We followed each suggestion of theirs and were so glad we did! Thank you Sand dolllar team for a magnificent shopping experience, for all of the extra kindness & for spoiling our kids! You truly enhanced our vacation :) looking forward to keeping up with your shop adventures on social media! {side note: the shopping center disguises the kind of shop this is... it’sa hidden gem full of elegance, whimsy, charm & wonder... everything from chic little earrings, to chic & fun entertainment items for the host who likes to take it up a notch with unique cocktail napkins, dinnerware, glassware, coastal chic decor to patio furniture, gifts for every age ... beautiful shells, they even host sand dollar painting for all ages!!! LOVE THIS PLACE!

I purchased a permanent bracelet and anklet. I fell a couple days later and broke my Radius bone. Of course the hospital had to cut my bracelet. 😥 went back to see Julia and she was amazing. Got hugs and a new bracelet on other wrist.
Every year when I come down I visit a minimum of 2-3 times. DON'T MISS IT.

We absolutely loved the store, all the items were super cute! The customer service was so amazing, the employees were super nice and helpful. The clothes were so cute I didn’t want to leave. There were so many cute items everywhere I looked. We went to this little whimsical shop twice on our vacation and wished we can go more. We will 100% come back to this cute little shop the next time we come to Anna Maria Island!

I finally was able to visit The Original Sand Dollar and the new owner Julia was so welcoming and so helpful and friendly. I was so impressed with the beautiful home decor as well as gifts.
I found so many beautiful items including shirts for my daughter. This gorgeous shop had everything I could possibly need!
I have been 4 times in the last week and a half and can’t wait to go again. Shhh don’t tell my husband 😂 All who visit AMI need to stop by this treasure of a shop.

Wow wow wow!! What an adorable store! The Original Sandollar is under new ownership (I screamed when I heard it was closing) and it has that same great island vibe and so much more. I am a local and have been shopping at the Sand Dollar since my teens and now shop there with my 11 yr old daughter and 8 yr old son. There are so many unique clothing items, glassware, succulents which was a game changer for us we are succulent crazy, art, rugs, funky hand towels, candles, local painted and made furniture, cool kid stuff so many fun items and even some things for men! I told my husband if you need a gift for me please just go to the Sand Dollar and Julia will help you. The staff is SO friendly and helpful and you know the second you walk in that they appreciate your business and want you there. Such a fun and upbeat shop EVERY time we’re in. Bringing my 63 year old mom in this week because she hasn’t been in years.
If you’re a jean short gal you HAVE to get the Bermuda length jean shorts. They fit so well and stretchy and feel like butter. I live in mine. It’s nice to see the staff and customers wearing masks and still making it fun and welcoming to shop. Thanks for all the goodies and always making us feel so welcome!!

A wonderful shop on the island with so many fun home decor items, unique jewelry and cute clothes! Julia, the owner, is great and also has a fun area to sit and paint a sand dollar or starfish. My kids loved it! We will be back for sure!

Thank You for making us feel safe while shopping during a pandemic! This shop is the gem of Anna Maria Island gift shops. It’s quality, unique items at a reasonable price. The environment is welcoming and delightful. Oh and the aromas are even better, I could shop all day! ❤

we spent the week on anna maria and visited 3 times for sand dollar and starfish painting for the kids. the owners are very nice, attentive and accommodating. my wife loved the clothes too. we're grateful the new owners have transformed the store and we're happy it was walking distance to our house. I highly recommend

I LOVE THIS STORE!! Julia, the owner, is part of the family that originally started the Sand Dollar store, and she is so sweet!! She orders such cute items for the store. I always give my real estate customers gift cards for this store. They love selecting their own island treasures!!

I was able to shop this very distinguished place on Thursday while on vacation in Bradenton, Florida. I saw so many beautiful unique items, so leaving out to come home on Friday morning we stopped again. The store wasn’t open and I was saddened not to be able to get the items I wanted for myself. I saw a lady inside and took my chances on explaining to her we were headed back to Charlotte and asked if I could pay cash for a few items. The lady, Ms. Andrea, was so compassionate and kind. She was such a blessing to my family!! If you are shopping for unique items for yourself or loved ones, this store is a must. The merchandise is beyond being eye candy and there is something for everyone. Help your local business owners out please by stopping here to shop first. You will not be disappointed! ❤❤ Highly recommend!

This is my go to place when visiting the island.
They have the BEST products on Anna Maria and my only regret when going is that I didn't bring an extra set of luggage to bring more stuff home!!
I also need to add that I'm not sure what people are talking about regarding Liv and the customer service. I'm almost under the impression that the negative reviews were written after too many cocktails.
Liv is amazing and she is a perfect example of what customer service truly is. She is very personable and is great at her job. (Along with all the other girls)
The only thing I wish that was different was a website would be great so I could order more from home!
Also for all the negative reviews, come to Massachusetts, maybe it will toughen you up! 😂

First time back at the Sand Dollar since it’s new owner, my breathe was taken away it’s so beautifully and creatively set up! Products are unique and perfect gifts! Workers were sensitive to this new mask rule and very helpful and personable, best shop

Julia and her staff are amazing. I love knowing that we can send our guests here to paint star fish and sand dollars and they will always have a great time! They even have disposable masks for individuals who forget theirs. Thank you for making sure us locals and visitor stay safe during this difficult time

I was on vacation and I fell in love with this place. Reminds me of a mash up of Anthropologie and Pascun. Unique items and displays. Friendly people here. I bought an awesome body butter with coconut oil, lemongrass eo and other essential oils! It is divine and energizing body butter. I would love to come back here. One of my favorites of Anna Maria Island shops.

One of my favorite places to find gifts, home decor, or just a little something for me. I always make sure to bring my friends and family that come from out of town. Julia is the nicest person you could ever meet and will give you all the recommendations of local things to do on the island.
