I have been here 2 times already in dealings with precious metals. Both experiences were excellent with friendly and informative help. I dealt with Gary on one occasion and Mike the owner on the other. The pricing is great, and I find them to be priced better than most online precious metals offerings.

I love this store! I had a custom ring made from some of my older jewelry! It is beautiful! I can not pronounce or spell the designers name. (For give me). He did a wonderful job! Kathy and Carolyn are the best! If you have never been to this store you are missing out. They also have online auctions, you can go in and look at all of the items that are for sale and then bid on them. Their inventory is unbelievable! Stop by you will find something you will have to have!

My husband and I visited Gulf Coast Coin to evaluate and sell a coin collection 40 years in the making. It was immediately clear to us that we came to the right place! We were first greeted by Kathy and Gary who were professional and friendly and appreciated our business. We met with the owner, Mike Joyce, who clearly is an expert in his field. We were very comfortable with the entire transaction and felt like we were treated fairly and with transparency. We will definitely do business with Gulf Coast Coin in the future and recommend them highly.

This is a follow up to my original post. After the owner personally got involved, he realized that one of his employees made a tremendous mistake. Not only did he Acknowledged it , he also apologized for it, and gave me the money owed me plus $100 more than he had to. This makes up for the experience that I went through. What a great experience we had. Everyone was so nice, and Randi was exceptionally helpful and patient. She spent a lot of time going through all my old jewelry. I would recommend this store to anyone.

I stopped in to trade platinum for gold. Gary Campbell was very transparent and fair in his pricing of my platinum and gave me a fair trade in gold that allowed his business a reasonable profit margin while also being fair to me. Also, once I left the store I tested my gold eagles with my Sigma Pro Mini and found them to be genuine. I also tested my gold eagles with digital scales, digital calipers, and a ping tester and once again found them to be authentic. I will definitely be doing more business here in the future.

Randi's customer service was superb. Very informative and respectful. Had a wonderful experience with her this afternoon. I will be back for future jewelry purchases.

We have been dealing with Gulf Coast Coin & Jewelry for over 20 years. Having dealt with numerous auction houses and jewelry dealers in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida over a span of over 40 years, we feel that Gulf Coast Coin & Jewelry is hands down the Very Best, both professionally and personally. Owners Mike and Denise are experts in their fields and absolutely honest and trustworthy. Their business ethics are reflected by those on their staff.  We have known many, many of their employees over the years and all were, and are, friendly, capable, well-informed individuals who represent themselves and the company in a highly professional manner. We have dealt with every facet of their business - buying, selling, repairs, consigning, in-person and online auctions - and have recommended Gulf Coast to countless friends and acquaintances.

I read with great amazement the reviews written by people who obviously do not understand anything about the consignment, auction or secondary market value for their items. People undoubtedly feel that their items are worth far above the realistic prices for them, and then assume they are being "cheated" when their imagined prices are not achieved or offered. I know for a fact that the owners and staff at Gulf Coast always try to politely and thoroughly educate and inform people concerning the procedures and expected outcomes of consigning items, the auction process, or direct purchase of items by the company.

Take it from people who have been on both sides of the business for many years, you will not find a better company to deal with. We thank the Joyce family for all of the years we have dealt with them, and we truly appreciate their values, ethics and dedication to customer service. They would not have been in business so successfully in the area for 48 years without these attributes. Finally, what is seldom mentioned is Gulf Coast Coin & Jewelry's community service to the Fort Myers area, as well as their countless charitable acts and contributions to the Region and beyond. This is certainly worthy of recognition and appreciation.

I've bought from Gulfcoast Coin and Jewelry, sold to them and taken part in auctions as well. Absolutely first-class all the way! I read some of the other reviews and was a little surprised. Yes, they have a "buzz you in door lock", most every coin or jewelry shop does, sometimes you have to wait a few seconds. They have expensive things in there. This isn't a 7-11, I'm not going in to pick up a pack of smokes and a Mountain Dew. I go in and spend real money (to me anyway) and it takes time. I am respectful of others spending their hard earned money and when it is my turn, all of my questions are answered, items that I want to see are shown to me, recently a staff member even helped me look through Mercury Dimes searching for a year I needed. I have a lot of questions too and have always been treated with respect. My favorite local coin shop!

Great auction item, very quick processing and shipping as well as excellent packing and very reasonable rate.

My first experience with this business was attending a live auction in their Fort Myers location, and attending the preview of the items up for auction the day before. I had a great time at the live auction (coffee, sweets, lunch, beer...what more could you want? Oh, fine jewelry too...). The staff, especially Suzi, is knowledgeable and courteous. Willing to help and answer all questions. During the preview they were very patient as I tend to review things over and over again:) I have gone back several times since and have purchased many fine pieces of Jewelry from their very excellent stock and "luxury for less" pieces. I am extremely happy with every piece I've purchased. I also sold an older broken bracelet and they gave me the best price out of all the places I took it to. I visited Suzi in the Bonita Springs location recently as well. Lots of fun and very productive! I recommend this business very highly, and Suzi especially. She is a very talented jeweler, as well as being one of the nicest people I know, always willing to please even if its just polishing or cleaning your latest piece! Thanks so much. Beautiful jewelry in their auctions. I have gotten quality jewelry at great prices. The auctions are packed with a variety of merchandise. Justin has priced my auction items at a fair price. I was surprised that my items sold quickly. It’s important to me that my items sell to people who will treasure them. The auctions are fun to attend and the auctioneer has a great sense of humor.
You won’t find jewelry as beautiful for incredible prices anywhere but Gulfcoast. Attend their monthly auctions you will be addicted. They have fantastic no reserve items also.

My sister-in-law and I have been going to this auction for years. We are very impressed with items shown, service and staff - plus we get lunch! Don't find that everywhere! There are always plenty of items to choose from and we like the way Mike does the auction and the interactions with his staff. The "food lady" is always a big hit. Can't forget to mention Doobie and Fredo ...doggie pets are always good. Come down and check them out - you won't be disappointed.

Every one in the store has great personalities and great customer service. My fiance and I were looking for wedding bands and we both found the perfect bands. The band I bought matches perfect to my engagement ring. The band is so perfect it looks like they were a set. Great place to come to if your looking for engagement rings or wedding bands. they have a variety of rings to choose from.

There is a reason that this place is always busy. Clearly the top choice for jewelry, rare coins. And bullion. A wide sea of selection at competitive prices.Also they have frequent auctions. As for myself, I purchase low end coins and receive the same level of service as the folks who buy luxury goods. It's a pleasure to shop there, and the owner Mike will always say hello even when he's busy

Ordered custom diamond wedding bands less than 2 weeks before the wedding date they got them to me on time. I absolutely love their online auctions. I've been a customer for two years and always had great customer service.

Just met with Dominic, Meg, and Mary to help select a beautiful set of gold diamond earrings for a family members birthday present. My first time ever visiting this location, but the prices were beyond fair, atmosphere was very eloquent, and transaction went very smooth. Even polished the earrings up very nicely and gift wrapped them for me! Highly recommend!
