Rodney's Crabs & More

The service was excellent !! Wayne automatically became an honorary family member. We had the two crab platters , two Michelle Obamas ( Wayne's Special Brew) and Walnut Butter Pound Cake and the new addition Strawberry Cream Cheese Cake. Listen !!!! Those platters were HUGE ! We didn't even get through our drinks and cake. The perfect spot to pick up food and go. Red Lobster WHO ? If you are ever in the area swing on through . We heard about them through our friends and we are now spreading the word.

This place was the bomb! The crab plate was something serious! I read other reviews about it but you have to taste to believe! Everything was seasoned perfectly and the corn n potatoes were awesome! The Obama juice was great and the fish n shrimp also! Don’t judge a book by its cover! Are you almost there? Go!!!

So I hardly ever give five stars. This meal was amazing. Yes the building is a bit rough around the edges however this is one of the best meals I have ever had. I travel extensively for work and have dined at some amazing places.This place is one of those that I'd drive 12 hours just to get a to go box. Wayne and the guys there were super friendly and had the order ready fast. Get the Crabby special on Tuesday's and add the sausage( yes it looks kinda strange but it's good!) Get lots of paper towels ready and enjoy!

First time! I tried and it was delicious. Fish and shrimp was fried just how I like. Wings nicely seasoned and whatever is in that Rod sauce 😋 . If you never tried you gotta try at least once.

I have been craving Good Fried Shrimp. After wasting $35 at Red Lobster. I decided to try Rodney’s yesterday. The Shrimp was delicious, freshly made. I tasted the Rodney Rodney sauce and that was different and yummy. I enjoyed it so much Went back today. Prices are fair. It’s a hole in the wall. Well worth it.

The food is always good here!! It is definitely worth the visit! You won't be disappointed. Take a look for yourself. This is the first time I went there and I couldn't help myself before taking a picture. Don't let the outside fool you, the people are friendly(owner genuinely cares for his customers)and the food is delicious and well priced. Don't forget to try the cakes, super moist! I live far and I drive down because the food is sooo good😊.And No place even comes close to where I live. -I'm so sorry 🙏for taking so long to respond, & by keeping only trained people in the kitchen

I was so hungry ate before I realized I forgot to take a photo..So you definitely get a healthy portion. Got the fried fish and shrimp platter, comes with fries and bread, lettuce and tomatoes should you want to make a fish sandwich, which was unique and definitely stretches the meal and ensures you get full. The fry was nice and crispy and full of flavor, didn't need to use my tartar sauce (homemade I believe) I did dip my froes in it though.

Make sure to get the "local favorite" Michelle Obama drink/juice they make themselves, its a MOST delicious blend of several juices. I think it tastes like "liquid gold" and nothing i've ever had before. It would be amazing as a mixer in a cocktail, just add some rum or vodka. I would buy a gallon easily, its THAT GOOD!!! If I lived locally, I would easily be ordering from here weekly. Everything was delicious. Sadly they were out of their Walnut Pound Cake. Hope to be back some time in the near future.

Two words... Oh YAASSS!! 1st time order for my birthday dinner. I found this place just in time for my birthday & decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. I was NOT disappointed! The platter was huge and every component was delicious. I'm going back tomorrow for one of their Soul Food Sunday plates. Thank you Rodney!

Rodneys is the kids and I favorite quick go to seafood spot. I discovered rodneys on a fall trip I took last year when I still lived in Georgia. Now that I’m officially a local to Riviera I go here all the time. The crab plate is my familys favorite meal! Top quality seafood and the garlic butter sauce everything is drenched in is perfection! Don’t forget to try the homemade cakes and Michelle Obama drinks 😁

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but this place was AMAZING! We got SO much food, and it was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting some outstanding seafood (and at a reasonable price).

This is the best seafood ive ever had. We all belive that there is a hole in the wall that delivers both exceptional quality food and great value. Rod has both. And dont tell my momma but this is where the best, moistest, banana nut cake ive ever had lives. You get a ton of food for an incredible price. $30 bucks gets you two big crab clusters, a lobster tail and corn on the cob over redskinned potatoes that are soaking in the best scampi sauce ive ever encountered. Im gonna have them cater my wedding and the options are gonna be seafood or sea.food

Excellent crab. Very inexpensive. My wife and I both got crab dinner for less than one plate at other places. The neighborhood may not be the safest. I am not sure I would go after dark.

Incredible just simply incredible! I have seafood in many places and this is the best ever. Just great flavor and not over cooked. I didn't come up for air until it was all gone!

I really enjoyed it i got the shrimp boil a slice of cake and their punch and i must say everything was delicious. I found this place thru Google. Not disappointed at all

Rodneys was absolutely worth the money so much food couldnt finish took 2/3days the cook/chef very nice real gives you the carribean vibe at the shack when your waiting for this feast

I read a five star review that said OMG this is the best. My wife wanted sea food for lunch so I followed the review and came here. Food was great. Place is a little worn down and not much to look at from the outside. Do let that distract you. Rodney cooked up some very fine sea food for us. If you like sea food this is the place to go. The owner / cook will greet you like friends and treat you right.

If you think that the best seafood (barbecue, name your local specialty, etc.) usually comes from a shack, Rodney's will not disappoint. The service was friendly, and the food was amazing. No AC, lots of fans, a bit ramshackle, but the decor is not the point. Call ahead 30 minutes or plan to wait a bit. Take out only. Cash only. Menu changes based on availability. Later in the day, they may be out of some things. We took it's to the beach to eat. You may need your own napkins, forks, etc. We got some of their Michelle Obama punch as well. Ate it all with it hands and washed up afterwards. A great experience.
