Authentic and delicious Caribbean flavors in the heart of Palm Coast. We were warmly greeted as we walked in. We dined in, ordered our food and picked out our drinks. The food was incredible, so full of flavor at fair prices. The owner came over after cooking our meals and introduced himself and gave us a piece of cake to try. The service was superb. I highly recommend.

They are starting an all you can eat buffet every third Sunday of every month for $25!!!!

Great service and food. I ended up calling them just after their closing time, and they stayed open to make our food. It was cooked to order and very delicious. The cook and staff are friendly and really make sure that you get a good experience. The food was seasoned perfectly! Check them out!

Delicious Caribbean home cooking! The young lady working there was so kind and helped make great recommendations. The food was excellent. Loved the goat curry with roti and jerk pork. Definitely one of our favorites in Palm Coast. We are looking forward to going back and trying more on the menu.

What a gem! My husband and I went looking for “something different” and this taste from the islands did not disappoint! Best Chicken Curry we’ve ever had! The place was small, but super clean. Friendly staff, Bella was our delightful waitress! Great local family business.

Food was excellent. Had brown stew chicken and Haitian patties, one of each, vegetable, chicken, fish. Light, well seasoned, simply some of the best I have ever eaten. Chicken from stew was super tender, rice and peas was excellent. Had cabbage as a side which is my favorite, very tender but still had texture. Service was friendly and fast. Visit for yourself you will be happy and full.

Ordered our thanksgiving dinner from the restaurant and oh boy was it delicious. Was fairly priced and was all boxed up and hot for us when we picked up on thanksgiving day! I know this is a late post but I’ve been so busy and just forgot to give them props.

We tried a variety of food to see how the food was, as we are first-timers here.
The corn meal porridge was very good—the large one was HUGE—enough to share between probably 2 or 3 people, to be honest. We also ordered one dhalpuri—which was delicious. I was sorry to have to share that with my husband! I could have eaten the entire thing, but then I might not have had room for anything else. That would have been a shame!
We ordered a Jamaican beef patty and a veggie patty, with 2 coco breads. They were apparently out of coco bread, so they compensated by sending 2 additional beef Patties. While I really wanted that coco bread, upon tasting the Patties, I was not sorry!
I had ordered a fried dumpling, but in its stead, they sent me a bake. This might not have been okay with some ppl, bc they were expecting a dumpling. But this odd the only restaurant around that I can find in our area that even knows what a bake IS, much less make them so fantastic. So I happily accepted the substitution. No complaints.
And finally, speaking of bakes, my husband got the salt fish and bake. He has not had it since his own mother made it last, over 20 years ago. He hardly said a word as he kept eating (a sure sign of its deliciousness), and when it was done, he looked so sad to see it gone. But his stomach was so happy, he said if there had been another, he would have gorged himself on it. I did grab a taste before that hot pepper sauce hit the food, and I can also attest to how good it was. If you can, give this a try. I will also be going on to try to grab some of their salt fish and provision. It was what I originally wanted to order, but I did not see it on the delivery menu today.
I also ordered a burrito—which was fairly large, quite delicious, and a good bargain for the price!
I absolutely gave this 5-stars. The food was fantastic, very authentic. And while some items were pricier than I’d like (the dhalpuri was $4.99, but was big enough to share), the bake and salt fish was only $8.99, and they have some great lunch specials for under $11!
We have definitely found our new spot!❤

This is a unique and flavorful experience of a locally owned and operated restaurant. I met the chef and was invited with no expectations.
The incredible smells coming from this kitchen smacked us in the face as soon as we opened the door. The waitstaff is so friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and decorated in bright, cheerful colors. The beautifully plated food was devoured before I could even capture a picture but it wouldn’t do the flavors justice.
Let me assure you that it is ALL delicious but you just must to go try Sylvain’s out for yourself.

Edited: Went back to get a picture.

Carryout tonight from a new spot for me. Friendly counter staff, walked through the menu with me. I brought home the rib dinner with two sides (plantains, mac & cheese). Food is delicious, portions are plentiful. Will be back to try the chicken and goat. Located in a strip center along Palm Coast Parkway. Dine-in, Carryout, Delivery.

Had a really great lunch today at Sylvain's Caribbean Restaurant! I came in on a whim after finding the place on Yelp and feeling into the idea of Caribbean food, and boy did it hit the spot. The gentleman and gentlewoman running the restaurant were very kind with me, cracking jokes, recommending food, and telling me about their culture and values. I had the jerk chicken, it was good and spicy and brought me back to my trip to Jamaica a few years ago. I look forward to coming back very soon to try the oxtail!

I had the lunch special, jerk chicken with rice and plantains. Excellent taste. Friendly service and the atmosphere was very much Carribean. Even had some Bob Marley playing. Plenty of space inside and I saw several people getting take out. This is a place worth finding.

I’ve eaten curry chicken every where…from Jamaica, Bahamas, St. Croix, New York, Miami, etc.; and none compare to this. Hands down the best curry chicken ever! The rice & peas are really flavorful, and the jerk chicken is delicious. Large portions as well. So glad I found this place!

True Caribbean fare. The jerk chicken was on point, spicy but not melt your face. The baked chicken had the slightest amount of spice on the backside. The vegetables were fresh and still had snap. Rice and peas were perfect. The plantains had the perfect amount of carmelization. I was shocked there weren't more people dining in This place was amazing and we'll definitely be back

As a new transplant to the area, we were looking for some local, non-chain restaurants with an ethnic flair and in Sylvain's we found it. The atmosphere is loud and proud with the colors of the Caribbean and the service was excellent. We were lucky enough to meet Lue and she took wonderful care of us from seating to departure. We'll be back just to see her!

We ordered the Haitian fish patty as an appetizer. The crust was flaky and flavorful and the filling was full of savory spice. It was a great start to the meal. For entrees we had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and sweet plantains as well as the brown stew chicken with yellow rice and cabbage/carrots. We ordered a roti as well and got a delicious side of the curry gravy to accompany it. All I can say is that everything was simply scrumptious. Special mention goes to the roti with curry as it was a surprise ... who knew something so simple could be so flavorful and warming.

We typically do not order dessert, but they had rum cake. I haven't had that in years and theirs was just what I wanted. Deep flavors with a great texture. This along with the service was a special way to end the meal. We've already told friends of ours that live local that we want to go back and have them join us!

If you decide to go, we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I had the oxtails with cabbage and yellow rice. Unbelievably great. Haven’t had oxtails since I worked in Orlando or went to islands. So delicious.
I’ll be back!

I have never had any dish as good as their fried Whiting over rise with spicy gravy, topped with sauteed onions and peppers. Cabbage was excellent too! Was drueling after first bite. It was a giant fish too! The price was really low for this gormet delicacy. I will never waisted the same amount of money for fast food again! The owner can cook!
