So many options on this interconnecting trail system bravo Flagler County! Walking or biking, any level of fitness, people share the trail. Lots of wildlife, choose shady or sunny trails. We came here almost every day while visiting the Palm Coast.

Lots of different trails here. The one to the left from the parking lot takes you to Colbert Road. If you go right it takes you around the pond which has Alligators. The trail around the pond comes back out on the main trail. It can get a little muddy here after a rainfall. A 1/2 mile hike in and you're at an intersection of bridges.

2023-08-26: I walked this trail from Old Kings Rd. to Colbert Ln. The trail is packed sand with long stretches of boardwalk. There are quite a few spots on the trail that were dried mud, probably from heavy rains. The dried mud areas are very narrow and it appears that it should be easy to walk around them to continue along the trail. This trail connects to Oak Trails Blvd. where I saw some deer. The trail also leads to Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast Senior Living. I walked along Colbert Ln. from Blare Dr. to Willow Oak Blvd. which is a paved path about six feet wide. Towards each end of the Swamp West Trail, you can hear some traffic. Towards the center of the trails, there are lots of sounds of nature. There are a couple of short piers near the trailhead.

Great open air wide trails, that you can still see plenty of animals! Also for those who like to venture into the woods a bit. There are trails along a couple ponds. Just watch your step! 🐍 plenty of snakes. 🙂👍

Nice place. Little dock with a resident gator. You can tell people feed him cause as soon as he sees people he swims right up and after a few minutes he will leave. Signs say do not feed wildlife. Trail is nice and wide. If you look wildlife is all around.

Great mix of dirt path and boardwalk. Can connect easily to Waterfront park and a nice 10 mile round trip to the park and bridge and back. Not a technical mountain bike trail. If you can't make it down this path on your bike, sell it.

This is a Palm Coast treasure if you are a Mtn Bike rider or hiker, this tree canopied trail is a must. Several miles of wooden bridges, hard and soft sand trails. There is something for all levels of riders here.

The less crowded of the two trailheads. Almost always parking available here. There is also a permanent fixture that includes an air pump for your tires.
