I had implant surgery there by Dr Thousand and had no pain during or after the surgery! The doctor who did it called himself to check up on me. He and everyone else working in both the St Aug and PC offices are very thoughtful and good at what they do; i would never consider going anywhere else (and i have a lot of dental needs since all of my upper teeth and bone were knocked out in a car accident years ago).

I’m so thankful for always having a positive experience! From phone to check in to doctor assistants and especially Dr McKinley! Dr. Thousand is one of those rare doctors who you can tell genuinely loves what he does. He has a passion that radiates out when discussing your dental plan/procedures. I talked with two other periodontists before I found him, and I knew I found the right one!

First, I was born with a cleft lip/palate so where that birth defect was, I never had an adult tooth so I had to get an implant when I was younger. Unfortunately I did not see a dentist for two years, and I have to admit was lacking on self care so my first implant failed and I had to start all over, this time needing a bone graft. I already have very low self esteem because of my birth defect, so to have to resort to a flipper again was not easy. Dr. Thousand went above and beyond to complete my bone graft with 100% success. I have recently had the post put in and just couple of months away from getting my tooth back!

Please, do not hesitate to contact Dental Specialists of North FL! The ladies in the office are amazing, and have a great sense of humor. You can tell that Dr. Thousand not only takes care of his patients, but his staff as well. They are always smiling, never rude, and truly a breathe of fresh air. I have now switched to this company for all of my dentistry needs, even cleanings. Thank you to everyone in both offices!!!!

Dr McKinley is wonderful, caring and takes the time to explain procedures. The staff smiles when you walk in the door. Kim is gentle and thorough when cleaning my teeth. I have finally found a Dental office that I feel comfortable with.

DMD Thousand and his staff take an unfortunate situation and shape it into an unbelievable positive experience. I would rather swim with sharks than go to the dentist, but with that said, if I had another tooth that needed their expertise, I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. They make sure you’re comfortable, communicate effectively, and are extremely efficient through the entire process and post-op. Went for a dental implant, and would highly recommend 5/5

Everyone at this office has been great and i appreciate their help to make me feel good about myself and these teeth and gums. I can't believe I am sitting down writing a review for a dental office. I never thought I would see/find the day that I would actually find a dentist that I am finally comfortable with. For years my anxiety kept me away from the dentist and for years I neglected my teeth (as horrible as this sounds).I was referred to this office by a friend and thought I would give it a try. Up until the moment I left for the appt I cried (anxiety driven).I managed to pull into the parking lot and let out another cry while my heart beat out of my chest while contemplating walking in. Well I walked in. I can't even begin to express how fast my heart was racing and wanting to jump out of my skin. The mere fact that someone was looking in my mouth and all the embarrasment I felt was throwing my anxiety way overboard.....UNTIL I met Dr. Thousand! He could see my anxiety and my fear but in no time I was calm and relaxed. We went through my xrays, chatted, came up with a game plan and when I left... I left with Happy tears! Excited tears!I can't even begin to explain how amazing he and his team were. I even went back for my second appt! Now I am even more excited to start what I have been petrified to do for so many yrs. If you or anyone you know is looking for a dental office that truely cares and will put your mind (and anxiety) at ease... I highly recommend this group.

Implants and extractions are unpleasant by nature. However, Dr. Thousand is gifted in this discipline. The staff is wonderful as well. When it comes to advanced sensitive dental work choose the best available provider or you may regret it every time you take a bite.

I’ve neglected my teethe for years due to fear of dentist. After months of being in pain , My husband talked me into trying this office . Dr. McKinley and the staff treated me with such caring and compassion, I am angry at myself for waiting so long . They listened to my fears , addressed them, very gently proceeded , asking if at any time I wanted to stop . I am no longer in pain , and will definitely be going back . Thank you 🙏🏼

Dr. Thousand lV is the best at his practice hands down! I was kinda nervous about having my wisdom tooth pulled, they made sure I had no discomfort, were the nicest, most professional dental establishment I've ever been too! I would recommend to anyone! Had a phenomenal experience and never doubted for a second that I was being worked on by professionals and experts of their craft. In my case, I was referred to Dr. Thousand by Dr. Nawrocki of Daytona(Also does great work). I went in with high expectations based on the strong recommendation from my current dentist, and they still managed to exceed those expectations. If you are referred to Dr. Thousand, you are in great hands. He and his team will go the extra mile to be sure you're taken care of!

I had a great experience with Dr. John Thousand IV and Marcia. Dr. John explained my treatment plan very well. They took the time to answer all my questions and my concerns I felt comfortable under his care. It was nice that he took time to call me and see how I was doing the day after my surgery. I Would highly recommend this office to anyone.

Amazing experience! I had a full mouth DEEP scaling and a tooth extraction with bone grafting done all in same day with Dr. Romani. I knew the hardest part would be getting my entire mouth numb.. Out of the many injections needed to do this I honestly felt very little. Dr.Romani is very gentle!! Plus his assistants(im so sorry im very bad with names) back rub during this process made such a difference to keep you focused on something else. They really do work great as a team! Dr.Romani's bed side manner is something we all look for..he is kind..funny..mindful and explains everything that he will doing. My post operative instructions were very clear and it means alot that Dr.Romani checks in with you later that day to see how you are feeling. My pain level once everything wore off is very minimal. I have taken the prescribed motrin ahead of schedule to make sure to stay ahead of any discomfort but as of day 2 i woke up with no pain what so ever and have not needed anything. I highly recommend Dr.Romani and his team!!!

Just got 6 teeth removed (on the way to get prescriptions filled now), 5 of them being extra teeth. Dr. Thousand and Marcia were awesome and made the experience great!! It was fast and “painless”, they know what they are doing. I would definitely go back if I need more work done.

Dr. Thousand and staff are amazing! I don't usually take the time to write a review however they are exceptional. If you are looking for a Endodontic specialist this is the place to go. Highly recommend without reservation.

Dr. John and his team were so kind and attentive from my initial consultation throughout the entire process. I had very minimal discomfort post-surgery and absolutely love the results. Dr. Thousand does amazing work!

Dr. Romani, the technicians, and staff are exceptionally proficient and personable. Dr. Romani performed an exceptionally difficult extraction and subsequent implant, and his skillfulness was quite apparent. I would highly recommend Dr. Romani and his practice for all periodontal and implant procedures.

Have had root canal where literally there was no pain that evening or the following day.
Of course the injections kill but he has this electric thing that vibrates where he’s playing the Novocain and distracts you.
