Azalea International - Russian Store

This delightful little deli is a hidden gem located next to a beautiful park, making it the perfect spot to enjoy the treats you just purchased. The selection is impressive, offering a wide array of beers, teas, snacks, meats, bread, and more. The owner was incredibly kind and attentive, going above and beyond by even giving my sister and me free candy bars! To top it off, they even offer a delicious variety of ice creams that are simply irresistible. Overall, it's a unique and charming spot that's well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great Eastern European / Russian grocery store and bakery. They have a unique selection of Russian, Eastern European, and Jewish delicacies They have groceries, fresh baked German bread, other types of delicious bread, an extremely well stocked deli, frozen section, candies, and other items for sale. It’s family run, and they are EXTREMELY nice and friendly. Highly recommend. Gene (Evgeny - Lithuanian, not Russian) is the owner. NOTE: The store is in the corner of this shopping center, on the south side in the corner (towards the back — I have requested Google Maps to please make this correction). Check it out and enjoy!

We found this cool little Russian store run by a wonderful couple. My husband found a lot of his childhood favorites from back home. Everything tasted delicious! We plan to be back again to try some more new things.

Love coming here. I always feel weird coming here cuz I don't speak Russian anymore, but it's not a problem here, the same man helps me all the time, he might be the owner. He let me try few things in the deli, I was able to find exactly what I been looking for. Helped me with my others selections as well.. Definitely will be back. 😁

When I travel with my family, we are always on the lookout for our traditional food. We stopped at Azalea and were really impressed with the assortment. The owner was very welcoming and talked as if he was a long time friend. I recommend this store not only to anyone looking to get a taste of their old home, but also those who have never tried to experience something different.

It’s a very nice store. That employees are very nice and friendly people. For example, they saw that I had sunburn and they gave me re-moisturizing after sun lotion and they have good variety of food from Europe and Russia, Ukraine etc…

Great place, definitely coming back! Large selection of various meats, at least three different cheeses, with lots of various snacks, treats, spreads and the like! Not to mention the clerk was kind and helpful! I loved the atmosphere of the place, felt very much like stepping into Eastern Europe for a few moments; if you need anything for a European meal (specifically Slavic or their neighbors) this is probably a good place to check first!

Very good selection of authentic Russian products at a reasonable price. Artisan breads, meats, salads, smoked fish, and caviar. Owner was very polite and generous.

Hands down the best Russian food grocery store in the US! Such a great choice of jams, fish, candies, wines. Clean and cozy place, highly recommended!
P.S. I bought there large bottle of kvas for the half of the price I used to pay for exactly the same kvas in my local SF Bay Area store.

Delightful small store with all kinds of interesting food products, mostly from countries that used to be the most western parts of the Soviet Union (e.g Lithuania), and from Russia.

Went here for first time today after it was highly recommended. What a cute store. Has fresh caviars, even high quality black. Fresh bread, fresh baked pirogi, assortment of chocolates, authentic Georgian wines which I can never find, and so much more! Unfortunately with pandemic they aren’t cooking fresh food as much as before but hopefully that will come back soon. The owner Gene (zhenya) is so nice and even let me try a bite of the sauerkraut before I bought it! In the end he even gave me a free chocolate bar because I told him how excited I was to try the chocolates. As someone who grew up near Brighton beach it’s very nice to have such a nice place in the area. I definitely plan on making the drive back down from Indian rocks in future!

I love this store. The selection of foods, chocolates, and deli items are fresh and delicious. My doctor advised me to stop drinking coffee, I was looking for a substitute and found the most delicious chicory coffee syrup. I enjoy it daily and so do my friends, without every missing that cup o Joe. The service is beyond wonderful
