Sweet Sensations

Had lunch here Friday with my family & it was phenomenal! Every single one of us enjoyed our meal. I had the tuna salad, great flavoring, just the right amount of mayo-a perfect sandwich! My daughter had a sandwich with cheese just oozing out of it and my friend had the club sandwich, which was stacked high with meat. The cherry cheesecake was to die for, and the Oreo cookie was so large, they wound up splitting it! Highly, highly recommend this small deli for a fabulous tasting meal!

FOOD/PRICE: I ordered the ½ Ceasar salad and ½ hot ham and cheese on wheat bread (pictured). My total was about $13.50 (with a tip). They were both delicious! The salad was fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing, croutons, and cheese. The sandwich was hot and tasty.

SEATING: There are a decent amount of tables inside and outside, but because it is so busy, it could be difficult to find a spot to sit. But, the atmosphere was nice still, even with a lot of people. A great place to grab food with a friend to catch up.

PARKING: There are areas around the building, a free public lot next door, and free parallel street parking. It is usually very busy at the restaurant so the spots fill up fast, but also can free up quick, depending on the time of day.

This is a Green Cove Springs "must visit." The food is excellent and plentiful. Prices have risen but not as much as other places. Real, home style foods with varied selections to compliment the proteins. Ordering, carrying food and cleaning up is up to the customers so I'm not sure why they have a tips jar. No table service, no tips. Regardless, the food is why you come here. There is a sweets bar with a wide selection of desserts. Although they have Pepsi products, they redeem themselves with Dr. and Diet Pepper. Parking can be an issue but walking a block or two might be good for the waste line after indulging in the desserts. The atmosphere is old and dated with less than comfy chairs but that isn't noticable when you sit down with a huge plate of nom noms. The sitting area is a bit small so elbow room may be an issue. Despite the crowd size, service is pretty fast and worth the very short wait. Green Cove Springs has a good thing at Sweet Sensations.

Monday, October 2 went back to Sweet sensations and got a full club sandwich, sweet tea and a slice of apple pie. It was so delicious I highly recommend

My family LOVES Sweet Sensations. They have the most delicious food and tbe consistency there is super appreciated.

All staff that have interacted with my children have been so very kind and patient with them as they attempt to order for themselves.

I really hope Sweet Sensations continues to thrive, they're the best!

Most recently I ordered a to-go meal for my husband on I. (We work at the high school nearby) I got the Italian Combo with a snickerdoodle cookie and my husband got a Rueben with a peanut butter cookie and it was all fantastic.

My bloodsugar was low so I inhaled the cookie before I could take a pic, but they always impress, even with their take out menu.

The best chicken salad around!!! Try the Outlaw it is excellent!
Carry out is best. Just call ahead and it will be ready when you arrive! But if you prefer to eat in, just be prepared to wait for a table during the standard lunch hour. :)

Fantastic! What a find. From the crazy good chili baked potato to the sweet corn soup to the delicious cookies I am now hooked on this place and will be traveling to Green Cove Springs to eat there again. Better get there by 11:30 or it’s standing room only!

The food was top notch. They have wonderful sandwiches and a vast selection of cakes and pies. The people and the service were also amazing. If you’re looking for a wonderful sandwich, soup or desert you should eat here

We were pleasantly surprised here. Honestly didn't expect much out of a small place in Green Cove Springs, but it was excellent. I had a Reuben and a bowl of their crab soup. Just enough spice to wake up the flavor. Staff was all super friendly. Give them a shot!

Had a tasty hot Pastrami & Swiss on Marble Rye, very cravable & I wish I had one now, LOL Also ordered a Muffaletta, which definitely had plenty of cold cuts but the signature olive tapenade was made of only (bland) black olives instead of the traditional (tangy) green olives. It's also served on a Ciabatta roll, which is fine, but an authentic Muffaletta uses a very specific sesame topped bread, so if you're seeking a New Orleans type sandwich, this one will likely fall a little short. The bakery case had so many tantilizing desserts and for our first time there we chose a slice of coconut cream pie and s chocolate chip Pecan cookie, both were fresh & delicious!

It's such a cute place! Perfect for a day date. Had a delicious Reuben sandwich with scrumptious potato broccoli soup, and the cookies omg 😲 so yumtastic! Will definitely be coming back!!

This is a locally owned lunch spot with several specials that change daily, & of course awesome deserts & cookies you can eat there or take to-go.
You place your order at the counter, where you can see into the kitchen where staff is preparing meals. You seat yourself & when yours is ready, they call your name, you get your meal, and put your trash, etc in the designated spot when finished. Always crowded, a great varied menu & fresh! Enjoy them if you can get there, well worth the trip.

I ordered the club sandwich. Thick triple decker on soft marble rye bread. My mother in law got their combo of a Reuben sandwich and cup of soup and it looked tasty. For dessert we got the chocolate raspberry bars. Yum!

Try it out - come early if you want to avoid the crowds. They offer curbside with a designated spot which is awesome with kids. Our go to's are thr tuna sandwich+ cuban + chicken Ceasar salad! Get a different dessert every time to try them all (Grandma's Cake is our favorite- classic yellow cake with chocolate frosting) Cheesecakes are always good. The women who work here are always kind, patient and efficient.

I have driven past this restaurant many times and finally got a chance to try it out. I am so angry that I didn’t make it in sooner!! The food and service was amazing. I cannot wait to go back.

The staff is so friendly, place is definitely always packed.. because the FOOD IS SO GOOD! If you haven’t been, you’re missing out!

I was craving for some Pasta salad , and Sweet Sensations was totally the best! The ingredients were all fresh, and it was tastyyy. I also had some Cuban sandwich which was also absolutely yummy! I am definitely will go come back here again! The foods were great, the staffs were nice, and the place was amazing. A 5/5 indeed
