DAV is my fav. I love finding unique vintage items. It’s like a treasure hunt !!! I’ve only had an issue with one employee that was rude but everybody else is awesome and helpful and it’s like family 🩷🩷🩷

The DAV store is always a fun place to shop! No pressure and yes, good music. The sales ladies are pleasant and always ready for conversation to make my day. I love that place.

While I don't live in Smithfield, I visit family there multiple times a year; a stop at this thrift store is always a must!
All of the items in this store are organized so well. Books are orderly. Clothing is arranged by size. The items for sale in the store are neat and usable. I don't find things with broken parts or missing buttons unless it is labeled as such. The staff are always so friendly! The prices are very reasonable for someone on a very limited budget. I truly appreciate that.

Always a unique selection of items. They refresh the shelves daily. The workers are always helpful and friendly. Great location to drop off items you can no longer use in your home.

Great prices and very nice employees.

The people that work at the store were great! They helped me/us when we took a large number of items in for donation. We appreciated the extra hands getting boxes and larger items onto the loading dock. Store was clean when we entered and everyone made you feel welcome when coming in. Whether to donate or shop, this was a good place. I would go there again.

The DAV is a large thrift store, it's fairly priced on most items, we have checked out some items in the cases and been surprised by how high they were however. They have a good book section that is VERY well organized, which is so appreciated! You can also get magazines there, I get them for collage art, they're very reasonable! We generally check out the bric-a-brac, toys, and dishes a decent selection of all. It's a must stop, shop for a good cause! The staff has always been nice and welcoming too! I hope the DAV prices don't go up like Goodwill, we've been shocked by the prices there, and sadly have stopped shopping there.

I have been donating and purchasing at this store for the past four years. The ladies working here run a lovely clean, well organized store with lots of interesting things to find and always have time for a friendly chat.

This DAV is one of my favorites in the area. They do an amazing job in their book section! It is so well organized that I feel like I'm in a bookstore. The rest of the store is clean and well organized and the people up front are always helpful and nice. Time and time again, it remains my favorite local stop for thrifting.

Nicest employees, super organized, great prices and even better markdown prices!! Only one negative experience over the last 10 years of visiting semi-frequently @5-10 times per month!!

These are great thrift stores. Pinned them all on Google maps. Nice selections of clothing for all ages, housewares, and electronic gadgets.

I shop all the stores in town and love them too, BUT the DAV consistantly has the best deals with the best inventory. There are daily markdowns on everything. The store is always clean & organized and they have dressing rooms! Ive gotten so many great deals there <3

I go here all the time! Staff are always friendly and I almost always leave the store with something I want. Great selection of items and they are reasonably priced.
