Johnny Longboats

We went to breakfast on Sunday and it was so good we went back for lunch on Monday!
For breakfast we both had omelets … as you can see from the pictures, very generous portions and tasted delicious. We also had a side of bacon and a pancake, both were excellent. The Sunday vibe was set by Live Music with a saxophone player!
For lunch we started with the Hush Puppies with a Garlic Aoli …. INSANE how good they were. We’re entrées we had a Ruben Sandwich and the Blacken Cajun Chicken Sandwich … again, both were hearty and delicious! An overall great experience - the food and service - both first rate. A meal that you won’t regret going to for breakfast or lunch. We are excited next time we are in town to try them for dinner!

Stopped in Sunday afternoon for drinks and an appetizer. Strawberry daiquiri was very good, peach was just ok. Grouper bites were excellent!

We had dinner and went back a few days later for breakfast. Food, live music and the service was great. Breakfast portions are massive. Corned beef hash benedict, French toast, and biscuits and gravy were delicious. We tried a few other restaurants in the area and this was by far our favorite.

It is one of the best Riviera Beach's seafood restaurants.....at least that I've tried. Everything was delicious and priced really well. Will definitely be back to try other dishes.

My former review was not that complementary to Johnny longboats. Tonight they completely redeemed the level of service and quality of the food they delivered to the table.

I had the fish and chips, and when it was delivered to the table, it was steaming, hot and remained hot Almost to the last bite.

My wife had the mahi-mahi tacos. She did wish that instead of the onions and mushrooms she had the french fries because she couldn’t stop eating them off of my plate.

What a difference a year makes.

Last year, when we were visiting, I received cold wings.

Good portions of good food. Price is also good for what you get. Really good portion sizes. I got the "Two eggs any style" with corn beef hash, and it was plenty. It was also really nice that The Corned Beef was shredded corned beef, and not the mush from a can you often get in restaurants. Well they're on Saturday they had live music and it had a great atmosphere, we also had really good service as well.

Been there twice in 2 weeks and very good experience and food on both occasions!

The food was great and the service was great!

The hamburgers are done to perfection and the Shrimp Tacos was delicious!

I asked my Hamburger to be wrapped in lettuce and they were very accommodating!

Both time the staff were very friendly and the service was great!

The location is superb to have a great meal after spending the day at the beach!

Really nice! Great environment, good food. Especially Lulu the photographer! She made me smiley for the moment I was there . She made me feel special when she takes the pictures. She is really good. She will go far. Thank you Lulu for making me feel confident because i wasn't feeling myself <3

Absolutely delicious food!

We walked in as a party of 8 at prime dinner time and were seated right away. All of our food looked and tasted fantastic! Perfect portion size where you finish full and satisfied and might be able to make room for a dessert to share 🍰

You really can't go wrong with any item on the menu. Everything is fantastic!

I really enjoyed the restaurant also the photographer was great very pleasant and did a great job at creating very nice pictures to help create momentos for our forever memories and enjoyment! Loved everything can’t say enough great things! Love everything. Do yourself a favor and try this restaurant you will see why it’s so popular!

Awesome atmosphere, food was super tasty and staff was very friendly. Definitely a fun spot on Friday nights. Breakfast was fire too!

My group enjoyed our meal here! Fun beachy decor. Even though it was crowded, we were seated and served promptly. I ordered the jerk chicken wrap and it was so good! The fries were nice and crispy.

Everything was great, served fast and great service. Used to come here years ago. Glad it hasn't changed! Lulu took our picture and gave us a complimentary post card. Cool moments with my Son, she was great and picture turned out great!

First time here, and the food and service were great. Nice island music in the background. I felt like i was at a restaurant in the Caribbean, and I will be back again. They do have wifi.

Best on the island. Happy hour starts at 1pm. Good food, drinks, open air and great service. I’m from San Diego and this was by far my best bar experience.

The location was great only steps from our Hotel.

The best Tempera Shrimp rolls I have had!!! I like my wasabi a little fresher and hotter but the roll was delicious. The restaurant is across the street from the ocean and has a causal open dining area. The service was very friendly and efficient, however, didn't come back to check on us and we had to look around for the server to pay. Other than that is was a delightful meal.

Food was great. Drinks were very good. Happy how starts at 1 and the prices for drinks were very reasonable for drinks basically on the beach. Beautiful view out the back. The bar tenders are friendly and attentive. It can get warm in here but they have ac and fans. Can't help it's been over 100+every day . That's florida. We will definitely be back for sure. 2 people 4 drinks app and meal around $100 before tip

Excellent place to bring your catch of the day. This place was recommended by our Captain and he was correct.

Started with the fish dip which was delicious.

We had our Mahi Mahi grilled, blackened, and fried. The fried and blackened were the favorites today.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

Parking was convenient

One of our go to places when in the area. With it’s varied menu, everyone in your party can find a favorite. In addition to the seafood, chicken, and meat dishes, the salads and sides offer ample options for vegetarians. Quality food and a energetic atmosphere that often includes live music. Located right off the beach is a plus and the casual nature of JLB allows you to move from the beach to restaurant with little effort.
